BEWARE OF JVT! If there was ever a consulting firm that can be categorized as sleazy to the nth power JVT Advisors would get the first place. These guys are so corrupt and vulpine; they fox you into thinking they are giving you a terrific job. However, they have a separate back door agreement with the vendor that gives them a huge bonus for bringing in the resource. They pay you a pittance and as soon as the client is done with the work; JVT uses its recruitment thugs to intimate you to get off the work assignment. These guys are not interested in creating a sustainable relationship between the client and the vendor but a shot gun one night stand in which only they are the greatest beneficiaries. John Woolridge is a terrific con artist!

Great people and very prompt responses to every issue you may have while under contract. Ovrille is excellent and did not hesitate to help me get into the position I applied for quickly.

They called me every day for weeks and NEVER left a message.

Lousiest recruiters you can find in the industry. They promise something, but deliver just the opposite. Very sleazy behavior. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

I've worked with JVT as both a candidate and Hiring Manager and have found their services to be consistently excellent. Their staff and management are very knowledgeable and are very responsive. They have worked hard at building and maintaining excellent working relationships and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.

The owner is the best he is honest , badass and is smart and funny and I'm glad I can call him badass . Don't think about the bad reviews they are all fake to make him look bad!

I've given up on assuming they are professional or even rational. It started three years ago when I went out on a job interview. Unfortunately, I gave up my mobile number because I was on the road and they gave me the wrong directions. After the interview, they told me I got the job but an hour later said that it dried up and the company decided not to hire anyone.

But despite my previous experience with them, they not only keep calling me back for jobs which do not match my skill set, but they keep calling me on my mobile phone.

Today I got another call from them on my mobile phone, and they call every month or so. I have asked them politely in the past to not call me on my mobile phone but call me at my home phone number, but apparently they are attention-span-deprived because they don't seem to remember (ever see the movie "Memento?") . Even though they keep saying sorry and will update the database, it never happens. Today "Brian" was very abrupt and took it personally that I told them to stop calling me on my cell (home okay) and challenged me when I said that we've been through this before. The staff seems to turnover rapidly, so I see this as another red flag. Enough said, I recommend you stay away from these guys, and relegate them strictly to the bush league.
Update 29 Sept 2014: Today "Brian" called to ask me to stop using his name, that it was really "Ryan's" fault...of course, he called me on my mobile phone! They can't even throw someone under the bus without screwing it up. Is there any there there?

"Use any other consulting firm to work with top clients on long term contracts. JVT gives short term contracts with big name clients to mislead workers into thinking they are great! Not so. They already ink agreements with mega clients to test out contractors and obtain underhand payments from them at the expense of the workers."

EMPLOYEE STAY AWAY FROM JVT CHEATS! JVT treats its consultants like cord wood and mere numbers. They employ you with the sole goal of fattening their bottom lines. There is no concept of mutual growth or helping the employee to do better. If the em[ployee does better, ultimately its good for JVT. But they don't see it that way. They will swindle and cheat you at the slightest opportunity to do so. It seems they don't have a conscience and will malign anyone's reputation that doesn't directly contribute to their bottom line. Very SKETCHY company...stay away from them!

Very belligerent recruiter called my phone 4 times in less than 36 hours then denied doing so even when I was looking at the call log on my cell phone. He told me that I obviously didn't know how to count. Less than 10 minutes after I hung up on him, you guessed it, they called me again and still 8 months and many (10+) times being told to not contact me, JVT calls again. The latest call today was from Spenser.

Fantastic company, services over 60 clients within New England region. Very professional recruitment team. If you are IT professional and looking for jobs in MA region JVT is your one stop solution. Highly recomended
