Great experience renting a Waverunner here. The staff were great and the price is reasonable for an hour.

third call: they just hun up on me

The people here are super friendly, the pricing is great, and the ski boat was in excellent condition!

They really strive hard to make their customers happy.

Update: Hands down the best! It's our 3rd year renting from JFF and we already have our rentals scheduled out for this summer, as long as Caitlyn and Kyle continue to manage here, we will continue to rent from this company. These guys are just the best out in Lake Travis Actually, every company should have a Kyle and Caitlyn managing if they want loyal / repeat customers.

I got a Jet Ski here for 2 hours. Great experience overall.
The team was very cool and polite. Reservation made easy with a call. Flexibility allowing me to move my reservation to the next available slot (as I knew I wouldn't be there on time. Good value for money as they don't have the latest machines but the price is about 10%-15% lower than other places. Fair insurance cost (less then 10% on top of the hourly rate). Great deal on Tuesdays where you get 1 hour free for every paid hour. I'll come back to this place every time I'm looking for a jet ski rental.

Great crew that made the experience seamless. Had a blast out on the lake. We rented a Pontoon for 4 hours.

I was there last weekend with a group of friends and we had the worst nightmare, the staff is not well trained and their attitude to the customers sucks, even one star is too much!!!!

Hade the same experience as most others have stated. $100 for a "bent" propeller. What a scam...Avoid Avoid Avoid
And the "staff" is a bunch of irresponsible kids.

No matter how busy it gets the staff is always friendly and patient. They give very detailed instructions on safety and options in pricing. Always clean and organized on the dock. Very personable staff that will give you detailed instructions if you have never driven a boat or jet ski. I got stuck with the anchor and made a quick call to the office and they patiently talked us through getting out.

Had an incredible time with a waverunner and a boat. Good price and great equipment.

Place was great. Not too crowded (big win during COVID-19) and very reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Literally one of the worst services I have ever encountered. These people will do anything for money. I PAID for two jet skiis and only got one, when I tried to get a refund one of the boys who worked there was rude about it, on top of that they tried to charge me over $100. DONT COME HERE unless you're trying to get ripped off.

I would highly recommend doing business with JFF! They were so kind and understanding when we reached out to them about having to cancel our trip to Austin, all this despite one of the people in our party calling up and being VERY rude to one of their employees. We sincerely apologize for that behavior and are very grateful that you still provided us with a refund! We can't wait to get back out there and do business with JFF again!

Had an awesome time when I came for my friend's bachelor party, the crew was very nice and took care of us. They have a grill on board to cook food and a restroom. Definitely coming back again when I visit Austin.

Great staff, friendly and very knowledgeable. Tuesdays are great because you're able to rent a ski boat 4 hrs for the price of 2. Awesome time with the family on Lake Travis.

We have used JFF on 10 different occasions over the past 7 years but we will not be returning after this weekend. We booked our party boat for 12-4, and when we arrived at 12, they told us that the reservation was at 11 because we booked back in April. That was the most confusing logic ever.

We asked for an extra hour that we were more than willing to pay for, and they said they were booked, there was no attempt to right the situation or even the littlest bit of empathy for the fact 30 people were now cut short. We did not ever receive the promised confirmation email at booking, a phone call at any time, and no one bothered to call when we didn't show up at our alleged booking time at 11. I was told "our office manager doesn't make mistakes." It must be nice to have a perfect staff!

I expressed my disappointment to the confused looking counter people, and did not receive a call from a manager as requested. It appears they just don't need the business and could not care less about guest satisfaction.

I've always enjoyed my experiences with Just For Fun, until I had to interact with their "manager". On a day when my phone was constantly sending alarms for flash flood warnings, Just For Fun refused to tell us whether our reservation would be cancelled unless we drove the 45 minutes to their location during a thunderstorm. They obviously hoped for no-shows in order to claim deposit money and take advantage of the bad weather situation.

First timer this weekend and I have to say I had a blast. The staff was great and Brad the co-captain was great. Everything was explained to us properly and the place they took us to use the slide was so pretty. There was a grill that we could use and we could hook up our music. I will diffidently be booking for next month.

A bit over priced but the boats are always in good condition and almost as important they're available!! Great friendly staff and plenty of parking.

Jet skis and speed boat rental are provided along with other options. Good professional service. The instructions are explained precisely too.

great experience. Rented an 8-person ski boat with my sis, her bf and my dog. We are moderate level drivers, otherwise you may want a captain. We tubed and cruised from Mansfield Dam to Pace Bend Park and back. Onboard ice chest, fast nice boat, would definitely recommend !

Update: My husband received a call back from Kyle. He indicated their phone/internet system crash, however he made good faith efforts to reach out and rectify the problem. Kyle apologized for our experience and was willing to provide partial credit towards another rental or refund. Kyle was genuine in his response. Based on Kyle's response to our concerns we will consider future business with this establishment. For this we give 4 stars as music was our only issue which could have been resolved if timely communication was given.

I decided to celebrate my 40th birthday with this company. A MILESTONE birthday. My husband and I visited the property days prior to our party barge rental to ensure adequate accommodations and music for our guests. We spoke with Ella and she ensured us that they would make the necessary arrangements. Even during check-in I reiterated the importance of music. Needless to say our experience was HORRIBLE! Music makes a party and for the entire 3 hours on the boat the music did not play consistently. Our captain was awesome and did what he could but unfortunately it was not enough. We attempted to call and speak with a manager. Kyle indicated he was a manager however it appeared Kyle hung up the phone while my husband was speaking. When my husband did not get a response from Kyle he hung up and called back. No one answered the phone.

This establishment appears to be ran by kids or very immature people who are rude and disrespectful. We paid a pretty penny for the rental and it was lack luster. Do not waste your time or money. I will not do busy with the establishment again and I will tell others the same.

JFF was da bomb... I drove a speed boat 4 da 1st time n it was lotta fun!!!

Boats were dirty, they didn't tell us enough about shallow areas, charged us for propeller but when accepted offer to take it home with us we learned that prop was not damaged. Make sure you have them remove prop if they say it is damaged. They did refund us the $185 fee but we would have been out that if we had not agreed to remove prop and take home with us.

Called to confirm my time and they said they didn't have anything in my name. I had a feeling when booking it over the phone, the gal never took my credit card. But they say they don't take card info! So what's to confirm you even have a reservation??? Odd way of doing business. There's nothing available now and I had to go searching last minute for a boat on Fathers Day! Thank God VIP had one or I'd have 3 pissed off dads!

Rented a Party Barge and had a great time! Perfect for our Bachelor Party. Neil and Dan were the best Captains and everyone on our trip had a great experience! Would definitely use them again in the future.

We had lot of fun. Highly recommend just for fun boat service. They took us to a island near by. There is a slide attached to the boat. The employees are so friendly.

I have rented from JFF twice now this summer. Both times the customer service has been outstanding. Really impressed with them and will continue to rent from them!

Booked a 4 hour pontoon boat for my sister's bachelorette party. Super easy to do everything and they let us go an hour later than scheduled since it was super cold in the morning. Went to a bar next door for the hour and then went back. They did a quick orientation with our friend who was gonna be driving and backed the boat out for us and then we were out on the lake. One thing they didn't tell us but I wish we would have known beforehand was that the pontoon boats should only be in coves. We were first timers so our first hour we couldn't figure out why we couldn't anchor & had to call them and they told us to go to a cove. Other than that everything was super easy and it was tons of fun being out there.

Best place in Lake Travis to rent boats. Super friendly staff and extremely customer centric management. We are raving fans of Kyle and Caitlyn s customer service and on our third year renting from JFF.

They were rued and disrespectful , they took us back to the Doc an hour earlier than we were supposed to come back . Took one of us back to the doc as soon as we got there .! Our bot drivers name was Ella .

Very friendly service and staff, their wave runners are a little older but the accommodated us on the spot which any other place on Lake Travis couldn't. Very nice folks!

The worse experience in my life, very bad customer service and the managements are so rude, will never go there again.

I just rented a 24ft pontoon boat on a Saturday, with only one day advance notice. Most every other place was more expensive and sold out. The people here at just for fun were efficient and friendly and the boat was fine. We had a great time.

We enjoyed renting a party barge for our son's birthday. It was definitely one-of -a-kind experience. The captain took us to a small uninhabited island where we docked and enjoyed the party.

Just for fun awesome experience with friend and family as we celebrate it my baby sisters 2015 graduation now we're heading back to celebrate another awesome upcoming birthday bash very excited to be a part of this experience once again I recommend that all families should try it at least once it's a time to come together and just have fun no cell phones no electronics just family time a place that family can be family and have a great time

Just for fun is a great place for enjoying water sports with both friends and family. The prices are very reasonable and the people are very courteous and helpful. We have beem there more than 3 or 4 times already last year. Enjoyable every time.

Went on a Tuesday last year and had a really good deal for 4 hours on the jetski, good deal, good service.

The pontoon boat we rented was excellent! It was super clean, had bluetooth connection for music, and plenty of room for three families with 7 small kids. The boat was faster than others we have rented in the area, which made it easier to get to more swim spots.

I will also add that the staff was really taxed on the Memorial weekend, but their ability to keep their cool while dealing with the madness was impressive. Many hands make light work, and they have plenty of staff. You can tell why they are more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for.
