My wife and I use Just Eat all the time and they're consistently reliable. The only time an order didn't go through, Just Eat called my phone right away to apologize and tell me about it. All our favourite restaurants on our street have Just Eat stickers in their windows. Their website works well and they're upfront about any service fees, though many restaurants let you use Just Eat at no additional charge. The perfect service for shy people like me who sometimes don't feel like talking to someone on the phone. I highly recommend this service.

Absolutely appalling customer service from both just eat and the restaurant we ordered from,

Order was placed at 6.44pm and was meant to arrive at 7.30pm, the order never arrived so at 7.44 we chatted just eat no reply from these until 8.00pm to which they notified us the driver had just collected the food ( upon receiving the order the food receipt stated the order was due to be collected at 7.10pm) the food had been sitting in the restaurant for at least 50 minutes for the driver to collect it, shame on the restaurant for allowing the food to be left that long and for handing it out,

Upon receiving our food at 8.15pm as you can probably guess the food was ice cold and completely inedible, there was also food missing from the order that both restaurant and just eat refused to take ownership of,

at this point we contacted just eat and were put on hold numerous times to which were then told there would not be a refund issued but instead vouchers that only amount to a fraction of the order, we asked if we could speak to a senior we were told they will contact us in 2 days ,this is the worst level of customer service I have experienced with a food app,

we had waited one hour and thirty minutes and wasted $70 on food that cannot be eaten!

New to just eats and been disappointed too many times. Just spoke to the manager regarding all the delivery mistakes since I started ordering through them and she was not very helpful. Chat was useless as well. Nothing gets resolved. If your order is less than 50 they will credit your account if it's over 50 they will send money back to your bank which takes 3 to 5 business days. Their is no option. At least offer free delivery on the next order or something...poor customer service. 0/5

Ordered food on Sunday, received a confirmation email from the restaurant that it would be delivered in 50 minutes. Waited a hour and forty minutes, we contacted JustEat who contacted the restaurant and we were informed they never received our order, even though we received a confirmation email. They would not refund us or discount anything and still deliver the food. We had to cancel our order completely as they still did not have an expected delivery time and received nothing after waiting all that time. If we did not contact them ourselves we would have never been notified that nothing was ever coming. Will not use their service again.

just close the company. worst service ever. delivery times are atrocious and customer service is either abysmal or nonexistent. it hurts me to write this about a canadian company. YOU GUYS OBVIOUSLY KNOW WHAT'S WRONG, IT'S NOT HARD TO FIND A SOLUTION TO IMPROVE YOUR BUSINESS. EVEN IF IT IS JUST A SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT. What's wrong all your funds are tied to your executives fat pay checks? not enough money to hire 1 more customer service rep? How are you going to put customers on hold for over 20 minutes for an online LIVE chat? trash. Also your customer representatives lacks courtesy. Shout out to your rep Natasha.

My adopted father twice removed had just recently returned from a 7 year stint in 'Nam when, naturally, I decided to share the taste of Canada with him. We promptly rode over here in our '78 Harley unicycles (my father thrice removed is a massively devoted unicycle fanatic). When we got there, the food was piping hot and the flavours were overflowing. It was so good that my father four times removed actually passed out and had a coma.

Ordered food, with an hour delivery time. Sounds fine, but when 1.5 hours rolls past I contact the company, was told the driver may have just left the food on the doorstep and to check there. First, who the hell would leave food on a doorstop, in winter. Secondly, I live in an apartment. So she calls the driver, finds out he still has the food and will return within 10 min. Fine, I can deal with that. No talk about dealing with the situation, discount, or anything to make the consumer happy, and ends the call mid conversation... So i wait another half hour, and contact them again, and the new one tells me that They never received a re-send order for the food,that you wont be eating from us tonight, and well refund your money. Even that would be fine but its been a week and I'm still waiting for them to give me a refund. Will defiantly be contacting the BBB for this place, Don't bother dealing with these amateurs, just go and cook for yourself, its less hassle, no matter how lazy you may be.

We actually had a great experience with Just Eat... We are visiting the Richmond Hill area outside Toronto and the temps were sub-zero last night. We were tired and didn't feel like going out, so we looked up delivery options. We ordered through Just Eat, despite seeing quite a few negative reviews. It seemed that a lot of the reviews mentioned late deliveries, and we were willing to get a late delivery, so we went for it. To our surprise, everything worked flawlessly. Ordering was easy. Communication about our order's delivery was great - they both texted and called via the hotel # we'd provided. They arrived at the time they let us know - which was almost 45 minutes FASTER than we were told to expect our order. (We'd requested asap delivery/no specific time preference.) Food was fresh and good. We were happy customers!

Worst service EVER. Doesn't even deserve one star....

Worst service EVER. Doesn't even deserve one star. Never get the correct order. Tonight the courier yelled at me on the phone and refused to deliver the order to me and he left. The chat is useless for resolution. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to speak to someone on the phone. They offered $5 credit. What a joke.
