The price is affordable. The staff is very helpful. Rooms are nice but not perfect. No refrigerator in the rooms. I didn't need it, but if you need it, you have to ask. From here, you can also take a train to London city center in 15 minutes.

Currently on my second visit to this particular hotel, and simply cannot fault it. Polite and attentive staff, and spotless rooms which are furnished with everything you could ever need. Plus, when I arrived to check in I was informed that there was a surprise for me in the room, and when I went to the room there was a lovely slice of cake, welcoming me back for being a return customer. It's the little gestures that truly sets this hotel apart from others. I would definitely recommend.

Very good location

Very good location
clean spacious rooms, friendly service, good breakfasts (English),
minus - extension of the day 10 GBP per hour is too much

Hotel in the main is good. Nice rooms and bar but couple of issues
Food isn't great
Aircon in rooms hit and miss
TV channel selection terrible (not even BBC news)
Security lock on stairs often means you can't get out as access card doesn't work.

Just next to High street, where you can find a lot of nice restaurants, next to to Intu Watford mall and a Sainsbury. Quiet and clean. Nice and helpful staff. Delicious english breakfast and also some other nice choices. Terrible coffee. Room ok, nothing special. Bathroom quite small. The shower is only with fix shower head from above. Overall a nice experience.

This hotel is in central Watford, a ten minute walk from the main train station, Watford Junction. There's no parking on site however they do offer discounts with a car park just around the corner. The bar and the food served within are both high quality and the rooms themselves are nicely decorated and include a comfortable, if not small, bed.

We had a nice 2 night stay as went to to visit the nearby Harry Potter World which is only 10-15 mins away. The staff had excellent customer service and were very friendly. We ate in the Hotel Restaurant, food was excellent although my More

So it's a very nice hotel but the walls are badly isolated if theirs someone in the room text to you. Also it's near a very nice alley to the right when you exit the lobby. In that alley their is a desert island, very nice restaurants with vegaterien and vegan options.the hotel is nice and you don't hear any street noise, the beds are nice and the blankets are warm.in my room I got confused with the number of light switches.i hope that this review is helpful.

I have edited this review and rated it 4 from 2 as I have received a response from the hotel management. A very kind response. 'Halal food is available on request. Cross contamination is avoided. The menu however is limited. Like I have mentioned a definite yes for stays and staff.'
Rooms and staff are still great. Not my first review. The staff are excellent. Rooms are great and spacious. Has Aircon. Aircon is not common in Europe. Standard iron&board, electric kettle etc. However no refrigerator or microwave. The hotel menu is basically from Sparta. It's spartan. Pork is served here. Room service carries a tray charge of 4.95 British pounds currency. However this is not an issue as there are tons of food joints nearby within 5 minutes of walk and at least 2 supermarkets.
A definite yes for stays and staff. Food is up to individual beliefs and preferences.

Very nice and friendly staff and atmosphere. Room was clean and had all the usual amenities, but felt like things were bolted down (shower gel and soap) making it feel like it wasn t for you.

Helpful and friendly staff, the hotel is in great location as it's a 30 second walk from Intu Watford and the McDonald's area for shops, bars and restaurants.
The breakfast is very nice and open for a good amount of time.
The rooms are ok, clean, tidy but nothing stand out.
It's only a 5 minute drive away from the Harry Potter studio tour which was the reason for the trip.

Lovely looking hotel. Good choices for breakfast. Pity the staff were unsmiling and a bit curt as if you were a bother. They could do with a sign telling customers that you need to use a clean plate for 'seconds' and not just take the one you've been eating off for a refil. Not their fault but I saw a gentleman do just that! Revolting.

Excellent Hotel. Lovely clean, comfortable rooms. Fabulous Breakfast with a great choice & enjoyable evening meals too. Great location for access to London & Harry Potter. A most enjoyable stay had by all the family. Hopefully we'll be back soon! Highly recommended!

The beds and pillows are good, rooms are neat and tidy. The breakfast is not as good as other hotels nearby. And the restaurant is pretty average, some things on the menu are better off being scrapped. Otherwise an overall good hotel to stay. A gym would have been a nice plus.

Great if you go to see The Making of Harry Potter, it is also very close to the train station, where you can take the train that leaves you in London in about 20 minutes and the center of Watford, where there is a shopping center and many places to eat or drink coffee.

I arrived very early and they held my luggage while I was able to explore the area. The staff were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and convenient ways to travel. The rooms were spacious and usual for London hotels. The food was delicious and the place was kept very clean. I would definitely stay here again!
