Pretty good school. Teachers are nice and helpful. Some kids have a really bad attitude and think they are the Sheikh's son or something like that. IB preparation is not that good but it is good for MYP

My children have been in EIS-J since the Early Years, and have been enjoying it tremendously! As a parent, I find it to be truly international; having children from all over the world, a strong IB Curriculum - since 1991 - and highly qualified teachers. The campus is ideally located in the heart of Dubai and offers students very good facilities. Academically, high school students have continuously achieved excellent results in IB, allowing them acceptance to top universities.

I have recently moved to Dubai and from recommendations as well as a very informative and accommodating school tour, I chose EIS-Jumeirah. I am very satisfied with the school's academic team as well as their facility. Very well lit classrooms, beautiful outdoor learning areas, and it is a fully certified IB school, which is what I was looking for, serving children from EY1 to Y13.

EISJ has been home for my kids for the past 6 years. Both my kids were in an American system prior to joining eisj. Since their move to eisj they have been far more comfortable and happy with the way they are being taught and the ib curriculum. They are now more independent and love to research! So proud of my kids, the school and IB

EIS is the school of choice.

EIS is the school of choice.

Over the years, many people asked me: Why EIS?

My answer was always: EIS is a school where I feel that my children are safe and where I feel assured that my children are being given the best education and this while integrating/mingling with students originating from all around the world. Moreover, the school Management and Staff have done/ are still doing every effort to support my children along the years and are guiding them to success. When it comes to mannerism and respect, my children have maintained a high level in morality and behavior and I am very proud of the results. The school has a very strict policy against bullying and this is something which I care for a lot. I have no doubts that my children shall graduate and get accepted in excellent Universities.

A school perhaps is as good as the teachers they employ....my son has been with EISJ for the last three years and has so far been blessed with amazing teachers....we have had such a positive experience with the school . We have noticed his progress academically, as well as in his overall personality development....his inqusitiveness is nurtured and appreciated and independent learning is encouraged. We are absolutely pleased, with the amazing environment they provide for our child to thrive in and are are proud to see our child blossoming into a confident young boy year after year.

Are you looking for a bad school with insects and nasty smells and teachers. Then eisj is the right choice for you, no education, teachers are very very unfriendly and it not just that but they dont know how to teach. They dont even deserve one star but thats the lowest i can give. When KHDA comes to visit, they act all nice and friendly but when their gone its the complete opposite. Im just writing this for ur child's better future, you might be laughing at this behind ur screen but trust me its really bad. I mean it sounds like a great school doesnt it? . Im just saying, its disgusting. But if you child is lonely and is desperate for friends they can be friends with the insect around very fun and you'll enjoy it. I was friends with bobby and sam ,bobby was an ant and sam was a lizard but unfortunatly they pasted away due to the smell of the school. R.I.P i miss them

5 stars.... for the great teachers and their support, and wonderful principals...
1 star ...for helpless financial support for parents in need....
2 stars ...for the weird mothers community..( locals and arabs mainly ) not that friendly and supportive as i thought... its more to colonies than helpful teams

Our experience with EIS-J spans for a period of 4.5 years now; the work ethic and handling has been fair and the curriculum as well as knowledge being imparted has been regularly updated; the school has been vigilant by and large regarding safety and security of students - which is very heartening; the teachers, nurses as well as the non-teaching staff have always been very helpful, caring and we've had a very positive experience thus far. The upgrades and newer facilities are slowly and steadily benefitting one and all - we appreciate the new 'Inclusive policy' of the management, creating greater transparency between the parents, the teachers and the policies & activities being conducted throughout the year. Thank you!! Keep up the positive energy and good work - wishing this leadership, progress, excellence & success going forward!!!

I highly recommend Emirates International School; I have 3 kids studying in it primary and secondary. The curriculum that this school follows is absolutely amazing the teachers are fantastic, the class instruction is organized and the instruction plan is true to the EISJ teachings, my children have been attending the school from 3 years back and the school provides a safe, loving and secure environment. Our children absolutely love attending this school. And on a last note, the after school activity program offered is amazing

I have two children at EIS Jumeirah, my boy has been there for 9 years and my girl for 6 years, both have started in KG2 and now in their 8th and 5th grade. Even though the school fees were paid for by the company, and I could have got them in a more expensive school, but after the second year, we noticed that not only our kids but even us had developed family friendship with some great people. My recent experience proves that loyalty had paid off at EIS, when we needed them, they were there for us. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.

My reason for writing this review is to highlight what an amazing job EIS Jumeirah is doing with inclusion. My child is on a wheelchair, and the school makes every effort to appreciate him for what he is, what he CAN do, and include him in all activities. The school runs on a vibration that is happy and positive each child is celebrated for being their own special self first, for all that they can do, while at the same time helping them through their challenges in a respectful and playful manner. This attitude maintains the educational climate in the school one of joy. As renowned early childhood educator Magda Gerber says, Can anybody argue about the benefits for a child who is appreciated and enjoyed for what she can do and does naturally? I believe this issue is so basic, so important, that it cannot be overstated.

Having 25 years of experience in the field of good education is no child's play. Kudos to the management and the staff for attaining such a feat. The amenities and the facilities provided to the children are the best in the sector coupled with good classroom systems and state of the art infrastructure. The students passing out of the school have absorbed by many top ranked universities across the globe only goes to prove that this is one of the best institution in the country

Very disappointed

Very disappointed
EIS Jumeirah is very weak in teaching, they have no system in place.
Bullying is common across the school and the management doesn t deal with it properly.

My biggest disappointment is that students in secondary are left to learn using YouTube, teachers don t teach in this school.
They have the IB program but they don t know how to teach it. I am pulling my three children out of this bad school.
I feel sorry for every year wasted for my kids there and for every dirham spent.

Disappointed father .

My son went to Emirates International School in Jumeirah. The IB program is a very strong one there. Administration and staff are very dedicated, supportive and helpful. Science and Math teaching is really good. My son received excellent university offers when applying with his EISJ background. Atmosphere is very warm in the school; everyone can sense it.

It felt like an absolute disaster to me! I was promised a package of 4500AED with all included and ended up paying 6500AED. They would always have an excuse of why they were charging me more! Some rude staff, never available when you call them, make you feel like they are doing you a favor in accepting you in their school. They booked me tests in different branches and they wouldnt communicate with each other making you waste your time and money with transportation... a trully mess! It took me 6 months to get the license as result of their disorder.
Their instructors were very nice though... however the organization itself a disaster! Not recommended!

EIS-Jumeirah has turned my kids around in terms of education and overall lifestyle. they have a great new facility that my kids are fully taking advantage of . the quality of teaching is outstanding and does not reflect the real grading of the whole school. would greatly recommand Emirates international school Jumeirah, you wont regret it

The main concern of the management is to have as many students as possible. The school was established in 1991 however they never got any rating higher than good. Grade 1 have 8 classes each class got minimum 25 kids so that's over 200 kids in grade 1 alone. They don't have proper area for kids to play with slides, swings and all other activities like access to basketball and football fields during lunch break instead they put all the kids during lunch time in a small space with nothing to do so they can't play in the football or basketball fields and they don't have swings and slides.

My two kids start there Journey with EIS Jumeirah since 2015. Truly, one of the best schools that really take care of your kids in proper secure healthy way. They have treated them as one of there kids, that it makes me (and surely you) surprised, that i threat my kids not to go to school if they do something bad and they cry for that threat!!!

I have two children, one of them at the Emirates International School, there is actually a difference in the style of the Emirates School in terms of dealing and follow-up student and direct interest in it actually.
By paying attention to the management and civilized approach to communication with parents.
All greetings to Emirates International School and with continuous progress.

Big communication issues : my son's school never received the assessment documents (although I provided an alternate address which has never been used ) and the school refused to reimburse the application fee once it got too late for my son to take it ; and we never received a writing confirmation that my daughter was accepted, although she was (a call was given with a strong accent that lead to misunderstanding, and that was it.)
Luckily other schools are doing a much better job with their communication, so we'll gladly move away from this one, that is such a wrong start!

The school disconnected distance learning from students in term 3 2020, instead of showing some support and help for affected parents during Covid- 19 period, or offering a blanket discount for all families same as many schools in Dubai. Even in their emails they call parents customers.

If you're looking for struggle with your children then this is the right place. Old school that was never rated better than good because they don't give a good foundation for the children. Teachers neglect the basics and teach the children things that are way higher than what they need to know.
