Worst experience ever, do not trust this company, I ordered a beautiful cabinet from their website and agreed to the terms and conditions of sake and paid in full only to be bombarded with patronising and condescending emails asking to sign contracts as the product isn't even in NZ, they refuse to communicate and will not give me my money back. We are forced to take full legal action. This company is on trademe, so please beware they are very differcult and dishonest!! I wouldn't wish this on anyone!!

DO NOT order custom products from this business. They are unreliable, useless at communication, will NOT deliver on time, and if anything goes wrong their service is complete BULLS*%T! I have dealings with them for over a year and still going, our order has still not been completed, and I am fed excuse after excuse. After our original order was delayed by 3 mths, I have now been waiting over 6 months for a replacement on part of our order, and yet another excuse on delays this week. Just DON T get involved with them, you ll be disappointed, let down, frustrated and not one of their excuses will come with an apology!

Absolute nightmare dealing with this crowd. Beware, they refuse to refund for faulty goods unless you send the goods back within 7 days of receipt which is in violation of consumer guarantees act. Spending store credit if you can't go directly to the store is a waste of time, they repeatedly failed to notify of pre-order issues for months, every single order confirmation / credit note / invoice had errors on it, it's like they have no system in place at all. Calls and emails went unanswered and I very much doubt I will ever see the $10 credit for 2 months delay on delivery. Just glad my dealings with them are now over. Only buy if you can go to the store in person to collect and inspect your order.

I would not recommend shopping here, ever. The quality of the goods we purchased (dining chairs) were poor quality, especially for their expensive price. They were very stubborn about refunding for faulty goods, and disregarded the Consumer Guarantees Act by refusing to refund our money when the fault was not resolved. We had to take them to the small claims tribunal, which resulted in a court order to get our money back. Even then they refunded less than the full amount.

Never ever buy from this company. I ordered furniture in February for delivery early September and it still hasn't arrived. I had notification that the shipment would be arriving into Auckland end of August and so followed them up early October to see where it was. I had no response for a week and then a email saying 'i am pleased to tell you your shipment will be arriving end of November'. No reply to my previous email apologizing for the 3 month delay. I then had another email end of November saying it was arriving mid-December. It still hasn't arrived end December. The customer service is terrible - all you get is generic replies.

Absolutely the worst experience dealing with these people - I warn you, do NOT pre-order from them. We ordered a sofa which we had to pay for in full upfront. The sofa took almost 6 months to arrive (instead of 2.5 months) and we were only offered $100 compensation. Will not be shopping here again.

I was absolutely delighted with my product. I was at first reluctant to place an order given some reviews I had read, but am so glad that I made the decision to go ahead. Communication was great throughout the process and I received the product within the time frame specified. Thank you. I love the products this store provide!

BUYERS BEWARE! - BUYERS BEWARE! - BUYERS BEWARE!
We bought via Trademe a set of drawers, which when arrived had mould spores all through out and an overpowering smell! We weren t able to get a replacement as the rest of the stock in their warehouse were equally contaminated. We asked the owner Janet, if we could exchange for some other furniture, but she said she couldn t guarantee that they weren t contaminated and soiled also.

We have since asked for a FULL refund, including the freight as according to the Consumer Guarantees Act, we are legally entitled to this, BUT SHE STUBBORNLY REFUSES TO DO SO! - Janet will only reimburse the amount of the drawers

Janet also states that not accepting the set of drawers with the pungent odour, is a personal choice, but I clearly stated in an email, that s its TOXIC and a health HAZZARD, and not a case of what odours we prefer personally!

I ve contacted Trademe and have requested that they intervene, so here s hoping!

This has got to be some of the worst customer service in the country I've ever experienced.

Interesting to read previous reviews on here - to know I'm not the only one who received terrible service from this company!. Ordered a table through them, paid extra to have it made in solid oak... now just over 12 months later there is large crack in one side and another forming in the other side.. to be told that its past warranty and there's nothing JS Interiors will do!.. shocking service, and terrible follow up, wouldn't recommend for anything.

Received a chair with a broken leg and was called a liar when I contacted them for a replacement. Insisted I must have broken it because I signed for it so it must have been unbroken when I collected. Check your items thoroughly, it appears they do not, and then do not stand by their product. Really average customer service over a <$10 chair leg.

I would HIGHLY reccommend you do not have dealings with this company. I have never received such poor service and product. I placed an order in the May and understood that there could have been delays with shipping - I accepted that when I paid in full on the day of the purchase. However - I was advised that I would eventually receive my vanity in the August - it never actually arrived till the October and then when it did arrive it arrived with scratches on the marble and a splashback that was too short for the length of the unit. I requested a replacement which then arrived in December - BROKEN! I then requested another splashback after providing accurate measurements for them to fulfill the original order from MAY remember... which did eventually arrive in the February only to see that it was made too long! I had to pay for it to be cut and they would reimburse me - which they did but not for the full cost. It was suggested that I package it up and send it back to AKL but if it broke that would be my loss. Totally unacceptable and poor poor customer service. All up - I had to wait 10 months for a complete vanity. Spend your money elsewhere.

The worst consumer experience of my life. It's amazing they can get away with it. Vanitiy is made of plastic through and through when website states made of wood/MDF. took 6 months to receive an order that wa supposed to take 10-12 weeks. Required 2 trips ourselves to the warehose and showrook to obtain. End product damaged.

Great communication. Was initially unsure about paying up front. Sideboard was tailor made, and took longer to get here (Chinese New Year) but exactly as ordered, and with photos and updates throughout and delivery to Christchurch I'm very satisfied with the service I received
