I'm not one to leave negative reviews of businesses but in this case I feel compelled because of what we experienced. I hired JPC to clean our short term rental condo after having other negative experiences with cleaners in the area. We paid $170 per clean for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo about 1,000 sq. ft. On average almost 3 cleanings a week between guests. With cleanings that often there's only so dirty the condo would get between guests. But JPC would blow in and blow out very quickly, never spending 2 hours but on average maybe an hour. Whether it was 1 or 2 cleaners it was always very quick, sometimes just 45 minutes. I told them I don't mind how quick they clean, as long as what is typical is cleaned. But they always left spider webs everywhere, wet towels and linens in the dryer and dust on everything. Early on I tried to talk to the owner Heather and she was defensive. Cleaners in the area are so high in demand that they don't need to provide good service to be successful and that clearly is their operating procedure. I tried to be patient and tactful. But every time we let guests into the laundry room they found rotting, stinking, linens in the dryer. Sometimes the bedsheets on the bed would stink badly. Anytime we visited we found the same. They would leave dirty towels and lines from previous guests, chicken bones were found under the bed and trash. Our last visit we found a balloon on the fridge and tape on the walls from a guest taping ribbons, the ceiling fan remote was broken, another fan was completely gone. I know things get broken by guests and there is wear and tear but they need to realize we are not there, they are, we are depending on them to let us know when things are broken and missing. They also were not good about letting us know when supplies were low or missing, often waiting til we were completely out of something before letting us know. They took cleaning supplies that we provided with them; who knows how much extra we spent on cleaning supplies that the took elsewhere. The last cleaning they forgot to leave clean towels out for the guests. I finally texted the owner again about these issues and she told me this isn't working out for them and I should get someone else. Wow. Instead of fixing their issues, Heather just wanted us to go away. We paid them over $16,000 this last year alone and there was absolutely no gratitude or appreciation. I asked Heather how often they clean the bed spreads and she didn't respond. They also missed a number of appointments and put me in really tough situations that I had to deal with with the guests and I often had to refund money to the guests because of them. If you want a quick superficial clean they are pretty good. But if you want a good clean for your guests I would definitely look elsewhere.
