Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark Cebu Review

I had a good experience on this resort with my family. But the prices are not friendly to your budget. Though its high class, i recommend this best for the water activities with your children. The beach is jot nice, rocky and shallow sometimes. Overall im amaze by this resort

The house with children is good to play, but the Korean restaurant is overflowing, so the restaurant is always crowded at breakfast and it feels like a pic.

Even if you're careful not to remove your makeup, you will fountain mercilessly from the mushroom objects on both sides, so get ready to get wet
The pool area for children is large so you can play all day without getting tired.

Their facility needs improvement. They use plastic glassware and fake grass despite booking for a premium accommodation.

One of the best resorts in Cebu! One of my favorite restaurants here is Havana by the Sea. It serves a delicious Cuban-inspired then paired with their in house dancers and singers, it is just one sure combo for an awesome summer night in Cebu. Eat, drink, and dance here.

There is also a playground and good for a family trip

the resort lost the ambiance of being a class hotel it is more on a cheap side, too much people that day and it feels like your in a public market paid p18,500 for a night, had a free bfast at abalon, unfortunately we didnt appreciate the food that much, its more on the bland side, every item i tasted was not delicious, sorry just saying....

Only good for day use..... Buffet not to be missed... And good for kids between 3-10.....very friendly staff.......

It is open with standard health protocols in place. But hardly any guests even on an 11am Saturday morning weekend. The adult water slides are closed.

Recommend for tourism. Best place of Philippines for hotel, and it was fun going on the water sports. Room is amazing, and everything is just perfect

It was ok, kids had lots of fun at the pool and with the bike karts. Rooms are very nice and staff very accomodating and polite love the service

It's so good, but the paid drink in the refrigerator in the hotel room is too expensive, and the swimming pool in front of the hotel is until 10 o'clock. You should have also taken care of the leaves, and Viking Rider?

Pool is large and facilities are generally satisfactory

It was nice to have a water park but the Korean staff was very unfriendly. Also, the carpet room is not very clean.

The inside of the resort was clean, the staff was very friendly, the water facilities were large and the sea was close by.

Here for the Triton Ball and the place is packed. The food is great.

A resort with the only water park in Mactan. A place that many Koreans visit.

One thing that you'll notice when you enter the resort is that Koreans are just everywhere in the resort 90% of the time- hopefully this will change.
It's also undeniable that the resort is one of the best in Cebu especially if you have kids. Though food is pricey but you'll get the service that you want. We initially booked for a standard room and was upgraded to villa for free on the day that we checked in since the standard rooms were full. We got a private jacuzzi and spacious room. If you want to enjoy your stay, i'd recommend that you book for at least 2 nights coz 1 day is just not enough to take photos in every inch of the resort and too short to take a swim, to relax , and use all amenities.

The place is awesome.
- The rooms are huge, as is the bathroom with bathtub. You had good views. I loved the basket of mangoes as a welcome to the room, delicious!
- Breakfast does not disappoint, you have so many options that you do not know what to pick hahaha Since we were only two Europeans (the rest are usually Koreans), the waiters and waitresses reminded us, they already knew the room, what coffee and / or juices we had. The service with us was excellent, sometimes we "spoiled" too much, but I do not complain.
- Eating or dining is advisable to do it outside, because I consider that the prices were very high if we compare it with the prices of the street. For the price of a lunch or dinner, you can eat a couple of days out.
I do not give the 5 stars for the excessive price of restaurants, but the rest excellent.

very nice place with great waterpark activities, great food, & great staff. we totally enjoyed our stay.

1/4 of Koreans are Japanese or local people. Meals are mainly served in Avalon and both breakfast and dinner are great. Beer is unlimited for dinner. Mango is only served at dinner. Water parks If kids are young, there is a key limit and it's a little bit of a waste. The slide is over 120 keys. There are plenty of restaurants around the mart and so on.

Now, it's been several years since the name was changed to J Park...

This place dosen't have manners to us! They are very mean!

JPark was perfect for families especially with young kids. We spent 4 nights and 5 days here and we pretty much stayed in the resort throughout our entire stay. They have many restaurants to choose from as they have Korean (Maru), Japanese, Chinese, Filipino (Olive) and Abalone (buffet) where we had breakfast every morning. Water slides, mini golf ($), pedal powered go carts ($), swimming pools and lazy river to pass the days. We stayed in a Mactan suite, although spacious we found the rooms to be dated. I guess we were spoiled staying at other resorts such Conrad in Manila and Amorita in Bohol. Although appearing as 5 stars, I think the hotel itself should be rated 4 stars. Hotel Staff were cheerful and helpful. Shout out to Krisha who went out of her way to help me with confirmation on my return flight back to North America. The resort does charge for things like a ball for foosball (15 minute use), playing giant chess board, mini golf and pedal go kart but I guess it's their way of controlling their use so that everyone can have a turn. As the resort is quite large there's a lot of people and we noticed additional building is being added which means more capacity. The noise constructions were bothersome at times. They also have a kids club ($) and child sitters as well ($$) which must be booked in advance. Overall we enjoyed our stay although the last night was not pleasant. A family checked in above us at around 3 am. And from time to time a loud sound can be heard from above. Perhaps it was kids jumping around. The building are made of concrete but even this did not muffled the sounds. It's not the Hotel's fault but some people are not considerate about their surroundings especially in the middle of the night in a hotel/resort environment. I did complain at the front desk at 5 am and although they said they would send security over to check, the noise continued on until it was time for us to get up at 7 am.

The pool is placed for children to play. The restaurant is not bad. However, there was no room service and the facilities were a bit old.

A wonderful escape from the city. Though most of the tourist are Koreans.

It is small but has a water park so it is good for families with children in lower grades.
There is a private beach just in front of you so you do not have to go hopping
The restaurant food in the resort is delicious

It is really a very good resort. The facilities are not up-to-date, but I still had a good time with my family.
One thing I regretted is that the time spent at the resort was too short because the schedule was too short.
It was felt safe rather than worrying about security and convenience around resort.

Amazing water theme resort with very good restaurants and rooms

If you are looking for a place to unwind after a long flight from the States or Europe, and you have kids, this is your place. The JPark is an upscale resort with all the amenities on site.

The pool area is complete with swim-up bars, cabanas, poolside massage and great food delivered to your lounge chair. There is no shortage of staff, very nice and attentive.

In-house the resort has several restaurants. We only had time for The Abalone, a cruise ship like buffet with choices from all the world's cuisine. Usually when restaurants, ships or resorts try this its done poorly, however they did not disappoint, the food was great.

The rooms are new, clean and have nice views of the island hustle and bustle or the water. Obviously the higher the floor the better the view. Pay attention to the orientation of your room when booking or checking in, sunrises and sunsets are awesome in the Philippines.

Sunblock is like gold here in Mactan, buy it off the property.

Nice to bring kids for waterpark. Better than any other hotels in Cebu.

-The network signal is not very strong
-The sheets have dust mites...! !

Paradises for young kids with lots of fun activities and water pools within the facilities.

It's expensive, but it's great, and the kids love it. If you're an adult, go to Sangrilla.

Staffs are kind and very professional but even after considering it's a resort everything is over priced and over evaluate I think. there will be much better resort and hotels in cebu.

Deserves more stars than 5. From the bathroom to the lawn, it's not hard to tell, that the managment gave attention to the smallest detail of the hotel.

It was too bad to wait from 9am to 4pm for availability of room due to people who avail their promo but i was happy and appreciated to very attentive and friendly staff.

Jacuzzi Villa is too big for my family, the interior is spacious, bright and beautiful.
wifi is too slow, maybe due to many guest.

overall, I personally recommend this place!

One of the best resorts in the Island. Even though there's only a few staffs due to the pandemic, I noticed its cleanliness and upkeep. Its one of the few places I could definitely recommend if you want relaxation and some quality "me time". Its villas are ideal for family with kids. Its private and its noticeably quiet. Keep it up JPark!
