It s a really good place for art lovers. Although a bit redundant in some sections. It s overall not a bad place to go, not sure most people would like to go twice unless there s a special exhibition.
An unexpected surprise in Omaha! Beautiful works of art I enjoyed it immensely. I would have given 5 stars if I had known in advance that the Pollack was not on display. I was really looking forward to seeing it. A little blurb on the website would have been very much appreciated.
Great museum to spend a day with family. Spectacular architecture. Marvelous collection of art from different times and regions. Not too big, not too small. Perfect to spend a day to appreciate the collection. Museum also offers place where children can draw, craft, and express their imagination through interactive stations.
The architecture of the building is great. Perfect small museum so close to Creighton. Garden really nice in front and sculpture garden too.
We had a great time with the Art Deco experience. Plus the permanent artwork. They had some of the sculptures disheveled for some reason. Maybe next time because we will be back! Obviously these pictures don t show the power of the are itself, so go now! American Art Deco investigates a dynamic period in American history and culture when the country and its citizens went through political, economic, social, and artistic transformation and revolution. From stylish decorative art objects to products of industrial design, modern American paintings to compelling photographic images, the multi-media works of art in this exhibition reflect both the glamour and optimism of the 1920s and the devastation and escapism of the 1930s.
I really enjoyed my time at this museum. I like how a lot of that artwork had written descriptions. The art works section, which I believe is designed for children, was very great as well. Very interactive.
Absolutely beautiful wedding venue. I do want to caution you if you are looking at booking this venue that they have a lot of echo. The acoustics are pretty bad. None of my family or friends could hear the ceremony or a bulk the speeches. STILL - this was an incredible venue and it was an absolute dream for my husband and I.
There is nice art gallery to explore and the architecture itself inside the museum is worth admiring. The majority of the museum is free there are no excuses to not visit the museum.
This museum is fantastic! The art is well organized and documented, the building itself is gorgeous, and admission is free. The quality of the pieces will stun you. This is perhaps my favorite stop in Omaha, highly recommended.
