Tasty beers, nice place. Food is ok, tasty but not special

Nice to visit the brewer himself. Can have PET bottle filled from barrel. Unfortunately no bottles for sale, offer tip 6 pack of different beers!

Nice and cozy place to eat and drink. Atmospheric room with beer kettles and a large beer assortment. Portions of food quite on the small side. The food quality is good.

An extensive range of beer. The service is very friendly and you are really in the brewery. The kitchen is surprisingly high quality and elegantly served. The location has the possibility to play board games. The pub quiz is not simple and very cozy!

After our work we decided to have a quick bite to eat, since I have been here more often to have a drink. Ordered from the menu to order a steak / stew, especially a burger. Little table of 5 and 2 much later, had their food already and were already out the door before we had our food. No idea what was going on. Meanwhile to our 3 drink, when the food came. Quite disappointed, stew tasted very good 2 bites, in addition, dry deer steaks without taste, no sauce gravy or something, everything had to chew and not warm enough. Hamburger was fine, nothing special. We do not expect that from a beer brewery either. However, when I saw the bill and had to pay about 26 for this main course next to the card, I was shocked. This is not bad if everything is nice. You can drink and drink fine beer here. Also nice location, there is nothing wrong with that. When I went pin careful cautiously indicated that we have had to wait a long time, they honestly admitted. Forgotten note to the chef and the chef really attached to his notes, other staff etc. This can happen but then you expect an excuse during dinner or after (not that you have to start it yourself, while you know this well ) or that they have to compensate at least 2 drinks that you have to drink extra in waiting time ... what does this cost? nothing was less true. "They will pay attention and hammering in the future, we were indeed in the gate". Not used to JvdW! Food not recommended here. Never again for us.

Very good beer list and very friendly staff. Few things, such as the kitchen, could be a bit tighter (last time the quality was minimal), but the atmosphere, the smells and the people are very top!

Operation after owner response:
If you say that it actually costs 3.50, I am really scammed because I have to count 5 euros. Moreover, it also stands for 5 euros on your card. Besides, these few dry slices are not worth the 3.50 (cost price a maximum of 0.40). I advise you to order artisan baked bread from your supplier and to serve it. Slightly less margin (but still up to 25% foodcost), but I guarantee that you will have more satisfied guests and a higher turnover.

Too bad, missed opportunity. 5 euros for 2 slices of dry casino bread with a little herb butter in a paper tray. This price quality ratio was so skewed, that I still got the feeling that I was being scammed. So not left for another drink and a bite. Furthermore, a nice thing, with slightly too bright light which makes it less atmospheric than possible.

I like this place. I like micro breweries in general. I especially like the feeling of sitting in the brewery and being able to see the brewing. Staff is very nice too. However the beer selection is too "safe"/limited (almost boring). I know its difficult to run a business due to the pandemic, and they do have a good, albeit small, selection, but epecially the IPA selection needs more variety (if you ask me). Their food menu is okay, but again too "safe"/boring. Mind you this is Brabant/Den Bosch, which considers itself "bourgondisch", which is something I have learned means boring (food wise) and running years behind Amsterdam (and the rest of the world)

This place is my second home... I don't visit it only in the weekends but just any day me and my hubby want to spend some quality time together. This place offers great drinks and food. The beer they brew themselves are not to be missed. For food, my favourites are nachos and Thai green curry.

Erwin and team are very warm and friendly.
I am a part of de wit from the month it was newly opened until now when it has become a favourite of so many people. Mostly busy from Thursday to Sunday, they have to close on a Monday to give themselves some rest.

I have lost the count of how many times I have been there, but I can never ever get bored of De Wit. Shiva (My husband) and I are very thankful for all your hospitality and great food and drinks, and that you chose this location since it is near to my home.

Probably the worst bar in Den Bosch. Their huisgemaakte bier is seriously NOT good. I had two beers here while waiting for my wife to get home from her Christmas party and they put this passive aggressive tea box right next to me.

Yes I liked it very much and with the volunteers. But a friend saw how the cook was extensively poking at his nose and some more. Sigh, this is not possible in an open kitchen. Not even when the kitchen is closed by the way. lol I already had my food when she said that.

Tour had the brewery with a complementary tasting. Not 5 stars because the home brewed beers were slightly less good taste. Then yet dined, boards, portions were large and tasty, something for everyone.

Great opportunity, friendly service. Too much foam on the beer. During busy periods (Friday / Saturday) it can be so busy that there is no room left.

Went to the boys of the Wit on Saturday evening with a friend. We searched through Google for a tasting room and ended up here. We are very pleasantly surprised by this case! A beautiful space with good seating areas, not too close together and immediately a friendly waitress who showed us a table upon entering. We were then immediately given a card with the clear message that the double-bock had not yet arrived. So no unexpected surprises! The beer that we ordered from an extensive menu was on the table within a few minutes and the waitress could also tell us what we had in front of the drink board. Then also asked for advice from a young man in the beer service and he gave a good suggestion of which we certainly ordered a second one. At a certain moment we were approached unsolicited by one of the guests. Although this was not an unpleasant experience for us, there were direct personnel next to us to gauge the situation. Acted very well! We have had a very good experience at JVandew and will definitely be back !!
