Jolly Rogers Grub & Grog Restaurant Review

I loved everything about this place except that they don't wear mask! During the pandemic staff should be required to wear mask.

Jolly Rogers had an amazing breakfast buffet. The French toast was by far the best I have ever had. The staff was excellent!

Very hard to find by driving, but well worth the trip.

Probably my favorite spot on the lake for food.
The breakfast buffet is fantastic. Cooks and servers are friendly.
It will be extremely busy on the weekends especially for breakfast so be ready.

Love everything about it, even the bird! Dogs are THE BEST!

Best Breakfast on the Lake by far. Fabulous French toast made to order omelets, eggs Benedict, waffles and if thats enough a donut bar. Everything was so delicious. Great atmosphere.

Great area for the kids to play as you have a drink and look over the water. Fun party atmosphere.

Spent a beautiful afternoon eating great Cajun shrimp and listening to Grayson Woods live entertainment. Jolly Roger does "Lake Style" the best.

We love Jolly, the service is great, the food is great. They have wonderful brunches. It is also more family friendly than some of the other places on the lake. We like to take our guests there.

Jolly Rogers is the best place to go on the lake! We bought a house nearby last October and Jolly's has become our go to spot. Love the live music, great food and drinks, fun stuff for the kids and of course our favorite bartenders on the lake, Dennis and Eric. Their breakfast is amazing, they have everything! They have an arcade and a park for the kids, they do treasure hunts for the kids sometimes, which the kids love! Great people, great view and an all around great environment! Jolly's is a must if you are visiting the lake!We look forward to many more great memories at Jolly's in the years to come!

Best breakfast buffet you will ever experience. The owner works there all the time, I have a lot of respect for him. Very friendly and entertaining as well. They have really done a great job with customer service and great food. Don't leave without trying the life changing french toast. The waffles are amazing also

Nostalgic rustic appeal, with a good theme. Good food & service!

Food was on the spicy side. Fun playground for kids. Big ass fans keep you cool.

FUN FUN& MORE FUN. This is how i would describe this pirate resturant/ bar. The food is really good, the nacho plate rival all other places- even home made!!! Weekends the breakfast brunch is awesome. Anything you want. They will make to order. Many alcohol drinks , beers and wine. Even getting there is fun...by boat- jetski, with experienced attendant's to tie up to the dock.

Lakeside dining with good food. Pricing is normal for the Ozarks lakefront restaurants.

Breakfast/brunch buffet is outstanding. You should never have it and leave hungry!!

Jolly Roger's Grub n Grog has always been a fun eatery to visit and we were not disappointed this time either. Good help getting the boat docked (the "dockers" always make you feel like you know what you're doing!). We sat on the first level (a little easier for my blind sister to negotiate) & were serviced admirably throughout our visit. My sister's guide dog was "working" & when visited by the "house" dogs, did not flinch. I'm always amazed at their training. Our orders were taken quickly & our food arrived shortly thereafter. All good! Our bill was paid & after a short vist to the Pirate Ship, we headed home, again assisted very nicely by the "docker". Highly recommended!

Wide selection and great tasting food was a plus. Didn't earn 5 stars due to service.

The owner treated us like family....and the breakfast buffet was amazing. We went for breakfast but stayed for three hours drinking bottomless mimosas....didn't want to leave! Can't wait to go back...treat yourself!!!

Came down for a conference and thought we'd stop in as it was always good when we lived there. As a Wisconsinite, the deep fried curds are amazing. I'd put them up against some bars up here. Also the tacos were great!

They rule the gravois arm for QUALITY food... But they need dock extentions. Cuddys MUST be backed in (even my little 27 footr) just to get out of the boat...

Seems to be lacking in all areas this year. Great place for live music on weekends.

First time there, really a great set up. Had family reunion and took their pirate ship over to the restaurant. Good food, friendly staff. Wish I lived closer.

super slow service but great spot for both kids and adults. Food was pretty good...when we finally got it. Could have been an "off" day for service though. Didn't order any cocktails so can't speak to those. Seems like a great daytime lake place for lunch and drinks. And with the added kids area to keep them entertained, it's perfect for kiddos too. The pirate ship cruise here makes it even better to keep little ones entertained since they can watch the stuff going on for the cruise even if you don't go on it.

The drinks, food and atmosphere - superb! Can't really say enough about the quality, all the food was freshly prepared and the drinks delicious! Great lakside place to dine. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer and they were amazing...huge with tasty coating and dipping sauce. And, our sandwiches were so big, couldn't eat it all. Also, the service was fast and friendly....kept checking back with us to see if we needed anything. The boat slips are bigger than at many places, too. Well worth it and highly recommend.

The atmosphere is great, the staff is nice, and you get a beautiful view of the lake. That being said, this is where the positives end. The food is average at best and definitely not worth the money. My fish tacos weren't "blackened" at all and came out on store bought tortillas. It was definitely something I could make at home myself and at half the cost. My boyfriend ordered plain chicken tenders which also looked store-bought and not even golden brown. Went on a whim to try this place and probably won't come back. Definitely would not recommend to a friend.

It's all open outside dining. They clean the menus and have the tables spaced for social distancing. The staff is so kind and helpful.

Everyone should visit Jolly s once in their lifetime. That one trip will be unforgettable and you will be begging to go back. LOVE the Frozen Bobs! Sooo good!

Good food, but beware of a $1.99 upgrade for fruits or fruit on kids menu. There is nothing on the kids menu about it. Wait staff did not mention it either.

Had a few beginning of the season hickups. There are a few new items on the menu. Had to try the new shrimp and sausage creole. It was wonderful! Wait staff is great and the owner is still the best! He wants to make certain everyone experience was good. It says a lot in my book when the owner is 'hands on' and personally checks on his patrons!

Great for kids, they have a playground. It is busy, but they space the tables so it doesn't feel crowded. The food was great, but some items are overpriced. Our bill was $83 for 2 adults, 4 kids (We had one app and one beer as well). The nachos were PHENOMENAL!

The first time in the past year I was a bit more interested to get my own advice on this issue because of your life has a easier way I think I could do better if it has been a while and I don't think I could be the only person to be fair though I am so I can tell you that I don't want to see it in a long way because it bugs my friends hang on my in my room to see how it is but it doesn't work well I guess you
