Did I just see a commercial for Johnson s Furniture that said We don t sell that KUNG FOO furniture. ? What a horrible racist statement. I would not support this business because of that commercial.

This one star i have chosen is for the absolutely stupid commercial you all are showing. Where did you find that guy my family has always thought of Johnson's as sophisticated and respected but these commercials are awful.

Johnson's Furniture is a diamond in our East Texas...

Johnson's Furniture is a diamond in our East Texas area! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Randy and his crew will go the extra mile to see that you are satisfied with your purchase. Wouldn't buy appliances anywhere else. Great service department. As stated in other reviews, you might get a better price at a big box store but you won't get the top notch service like you do at Johnson's. Shop local!!!

Have never shopped here will never shop here. They have a racist commercial that says not to buy "king fu" furniture. What a great way to perpetuate the idea that texas and especially deep texas is racist. They do not represent the views of most people that I have met and will be vocal about telling people NOT to shop here based on the values they showed in their commercial. We dont live in a time that this kind if rhetoric is ok.

I bought a Riverside Display Cabinet..when deliver...

I bought a Riverside Display Cabinet..when delivered it didn t work..after numerous calls and being treated by the owner Randy Johnson with so much disrespect..after spending thousands of dollars there..he talked to me worst than most people would talk to an animal..He finally sent someone out to fix it what a joke..but not funny at all! The guy had no idea what he was doing..and had I not had a step ladder he could climb on to look at the top and make sure everything was connected and it was..He finally figured out how to get the lightbulbs out..that s the issue..the lights won t work..after looking at them under the light, turning them every which a way..he said yeah I think one of them might be burned out..and takes the bulbs with him..after numerous more calls and being talked to like a dog..the owner tells me he will deliver them when he gets them in his hand ...After more calls and being treated the same..he says they ll bring them the next day or the day after..but also tells me he doesn t have to come back to my house..AND THAT S THE EXACT ATTITUDE HE HAS HAD TBE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME..finally voices it!! Well needless to say I haven t seen or heard from him..a week later!! I gave them ONE STAR because I had to in order to leave a review! Please save yourself much stress and headache and buy somewhere else!

These guys are just fantastic. I really can't say ...

These guys are just fantastic. I really can't say enough good things about them. Everyone who works here is so friendly, not at all pushy like you might expect in salespeople. Great selection, everything we've bought has been very high quality. A lot of other places we've bought from, the furniture was falling apart within the year, but we got two couches and our stove from Johnson and we couldn't be happier.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate Johnson Furniture. The Quality and Service are exceptional. This is a family owned business and my parents purchased from them, and I do as well. Randy Johnson is wonderful to work with. If you need good quality furniture or appliances, talk to Randy, and get something that will last you a lifetime!

If I could rate Johnson s Appliance a zero would. I strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

If a small company is going to sell higher end appliances - they need to know your products, be able to make recommendations and provide guidance. We felt the sales lady at Johnson s lacked in this area and was not very personable. (I do aknowledge that part of this could be because our conversation was over the phone.)

After speaking with the sales lady we were going to go else where. Against our better judgement, we went ahead and purchased a Wolf free standing range with Johnson s because of feedback we had heard on the installer they use. (My other appliances will be purchased from Tyler.)

The installer Johnson s uses came and his work and demeanor was GREAT. The problem was Johnson s hadn t provided the knobs for the oven making it unusable. The install was done early on Thursday 12/20. Johnson s was to look/get the knobs that afternoon and bring them back. If they couldn t find them, then bring them Friday 12/21 or worse case Monday 12/24.

We were not provided statuses from Johnson s on the knobs. Each day we had to call the installer. Monday, 12/24 - We called the installer late morning and were told he d call right back. Never heard from him, nor did we ever hear from the store. I called the the store numerous times and ultimately left a not nice message. Keep in mind, it was Christmas Eve, we didn t have an oven and still have no idea if we would because they wouldn t give us an update. We never heard back. Great for for planning to cook for Christmas, uh?!?

12/26, the knobs are delivered and installed. Randy, the owner, has the nerve to say that they did everything they could to get them to us! Everything but the simplest thing called communication!

This would have been the end of my complaint but....

It gets worse - we also were scheduled to use the same installer to install a venthood. The owner has the installer tell us when he brought the knobs he s not allowed to do the installation because we weren t happy with the SALES service and communication!!! Nasty, childish behavior on the owners part that only hurts the installer who gets paid directly and not behavior you would want potential future customers to hear about.

My understanding is that the installer is also the warranty repair guy so it is questionable whether any warranty issues will be allowed to be honored here and if so how promptly they will be handled now ! (I have forward my issues and concerns regarding this Wolf retailer to Wolf and am waiting for their response.)

Further, the store s sarcastic Facebook response stated they contacted my husband - which is a lie. They also had the nerve to suggest that if we had done the install earlier it would not haven t been an issue to get the knobs. My response to them is that they should had checked to make sure they had all the parts prior to delivering it - they are suppose to be the professional providing a purchased product and it was in their possession an extended period of time!

Really it wasn t about how long it would take to get the knobs it was about not knowing if or when they were coming - communication/status.

A simple courtesy that should have been given to paying customers that Johnson s Appliance fell short to provide for. Later it was about that and their attitude regarding it. That s not a place worthy of anyone s business!

Some of the nicest people you ll ever meet. What great deals from a local furniture and bedding company here in East Texas. I would never go online and buy my furniture when I can buy it right here locally in Nacogdoches. Randy and his team are great people to work with. Their prices are unbelievable. Go inside and ask for Cathy, What you ll get as a warm welcome and friendly service. These people are truly local and want to help the local residence. Thank you Johnson furniture!

Commercials say don't get bit by the big box store...

Commercials say don't get bit by the big box stores. Well, we got bit by this local store. They ordered wrong components in wrong size for bedroom set, left us sleeping on floor for 2 weeks, when I was told that should never had happened, I agreed with them, and when I went in to the main store to let them know what happened from the outlet store in Nacogdoches, even though the lady at main store took my name and contact information, they never bothered to call me back. I got crappy service from this organization. I will never buy anything from Johnson's Furniture again

Okay, get ready, this will be lengthy. My husband and I bought a large sectional from Johnson Furniture during Spring Break of last year (2017). The sectional is massive and and has three pieces, a couch piece, love seat, and chaise, that can come apart or be hinged together. It's so comfortable that we have fallen asleep and woken up in the morning in disbelief that we slept on the couch all night. In January of this year, however, we found a huge split in the frame of the couch. The couch piece had a sag and it was not something we could easily fix. We do not have children and our dog is not allowed on the couch. We have a 5-year warranty with Guardsman so we went through the hoops of submitting a claim with them. Three weeks later our claim was denied because the damage "was not in our protection plan." I was really discourage and had no idea what to do, so we went into Johnson Furniture and see if there was a manufacturer warranty we could try since it was still under a year old! Mr. Randy Johnson greeted us, we explained the situation, and he immediately said he would take care of it, especially since it said in our brochure that damage to the frame is covered. We sent him the information and pictures we sent Guardsman and a week later I got a call from Mr. Johnson that Gaurdsman will be replacing the entire broken couch piece. A couple of weeks later, our couch is complete again! Thank you so much to Randy and Johnson Furniture. They have a huge selection of very nice furniture and if you ever have a problem, they take care of you very well!

Bought an air conditioner about a week ago, after ...

Bought an air conditioner about a week ago, after installing it I read the label on the side of the unit, it was made in 2014 .The remote doesn't work so I called Frigidaire, the representative said they didn't make remotes for that old of a unit, they said that they could say if it would last as long as it should being that old. Called Johnson's this morning and the said warranty starts when you take it out of the box, didn't offer refund or anything. The representative from Frigidaire said that they would search for a remote but the burden was on Johnson's for selling something that old and not informing the buyer!.....After this experience I cannot recommend Johnson's Furniture and Appliance, if you do buy be sure to check when it was made because they evidently sell really old products!!

Amazingly caring and professional staff. Even though I had to work remotely from Ohio to help a family member get a quality lift chair, Jill went above and beyond to coordinate a smooth purchase and immediate delivery upon my arrival in Texas. James showed a lot of compassion when he brought the chair and patiently taught my grandmother how to use the chair. If I lived in Texas, I would never buy furniture anywhere else. Impressive job y all!

We arrived at Johnson s 10 minutes before closing ...

We arrived at Johnson s 10 minutes before closing just to have a quick look and get a price on a sectional. The sales lady stayed late and answered all of our questions. She explained to us that the sectional design we were looking at was not ideal (which had not been pointed out to us before by other stores) and directed us to a reclining sofa instead. We ended up going through 3 of their showrooms and found a couch we liked. She gave us a great deal on the couch, and in all stayed an extra hour after closing to help us out. Will definitely return for any future furniture needs.
