I can't say enough great things about the Bedford Breast Center!! I ended up here after being diagnosed with breast cancer and was in serious need of a knowledgeable, compassionate doctor. From the second that I walked into the BBC I felt like I mattered. The entire staff treats patients with compassion and respect and they make you feel like you're part of their family. I use to dread getting check-ups but now I look forward to going and seeing everyone in the office.

Excuse me but why is it so hard to schedule an appointment here. Ive called about 15 times over the past week to schedule a colonoscopy and no one picks up and when they do they tell me to call after 11am and when i do they hang up right away.

the hospital is very giant .provides very perfect medical service.
it has better intensive care than other hospitals yo receive the emergency cases

I find that if your cool no attitudes like I see from other patients everyone is courteous and professional I've been going to this hospital ( Cook County ) for 43 years

I've been having the worst luck with trying getting an actual appointment. I would be better of taking my own paper work in than having to do any dealing with them over the phone. The hospital is very strict about referral directly sent to them and not from the patient. The people who answer the phone are literally no help. They either act as if the place you get your referral do not know what they are doing, they assume you should certain information, some give wrong information, they are quick to cut you off in the middle of a conservation, and just transfer you wherever or to whoever without being willing to give you a number in case you get disconnected. What make matter worse is that they do have my referral in their possession and no one has call me back. its literally took me over six months or more and this is not including any wait time for an appointment that is set. The reason I was even considering them is because I do not want my specialty doctors all over the place and I heard they have good doctors.

From the ER , trauma unit team that did my surgery and also 6 east unit we re very helpful in saving my life mentally and physically. I never met a group of different sets of people that concerned more than anything is you about your health your life and the service that they provide. Thank God for the people that stands on the front line , sincerely from my heart. (Nice guy) that s what everyone was calling me. Love you all.

My experience comes from a stay in the ER and a hospitalization. The staff is pure gold. They have a lot on their plate and still maintain a level of care that is top tier. The facilities don t look like that of a private hospital, but these teams are diligent and well trained and I d trust my life with them again. Thank you all.

This is the nicest I ve ever been treated in a hospital. Every nurse and doctor was attentive, kind, and made sure I was comfortable pain-wise. Even the lady who was handing my paperwork was so friendly and caring. Thankful for all their help.

I read some comments below. Now, I realize, this is not only my problem.All the time, when I call and in person they are so rude to me. I was so sad because I thought maybe they don't like my way of speaking or they don't understand me. Whenever I go this hospital, most of the staff are very rude and so horrible. After I read these comments, i understand, I don't want to change my attitude, they have to be change. I have the same experience like other comments. So I don't want to repeat it again. Doctors are really nice and there is one staff in scheduler and gloria (insurance) is so nice and they are really helpful.
