Recently stayed here for a Veterans convention, the facility was very nice any welcoming, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very nice and clean. Great place to stay.

Definitely NOT worth the money. Hotel is outdated. The room was worn and not kept up, air conditioner took all afternoon and all night to finely get down to 70 degrees (it was not exceptionally hot outside), toilet had to be flushed more than once to fully flush, shower was weak and old. We were charged $50 more than quoted on Travelocity for no apparent reason. Staff was less than friendly. No breakfast provided despite their claims, bar closed early and was very expensive. We paid $250 for one night I have stayed at nicer hotels that are up to date, cleaner, and offer breakfast for less than half the price.

When I first arrived the room I went into the sink look like it recently overflowed it was not cleaned out. I went and requested another room and that room the shower head had calcium built up on it and they did not change out the toilet paper roll, and the vent was filthy. I do not want to change rooms again. However I was going out to dinner with family and I asked them to have that cleaned while I was gone. When I got back it was late I did not check and when I woke up in the morning realize it was not done! This was my second time staying there the first time was just fine, but on this trip I will never be back. We did have really good service from the bar and one of the bellhop's named Randy was phenomenal. Gave us good recommendations on where to go in town.

Customer service here by the front desk is terrible. No one answers the phone or cares if you have actually have a place to stay when you arrive. They triple the price for family weekend and Steubenville conference. Once you get past that it is nice & convenient to Missouri State University.

The air conditioning is on, but is not cold. I stayed here 10 days ago for a conference. Had to sleep on top of the sheets. Set thermostat to 67. Today, checked in and set thermostat to 60. Our room has to be in the upper 70 s and sleeping on top of the covers again. Nice facility, but if you enjoy your air conditioning, not the place for you.

I drive tour buses and stay here several times a year usually 6-7 days at a time. This is a very nice hotel in a quiet historic district and is very safe. I have gotten to know several of the staff on a first name basis. Justin and Krista, managers here, are wonderful people who will bend over backwards to accommodate any reasonable request you might have. The housekeeping staff is very friendly and accommodating. Be sure to speak to them when you see them in the hallways. Hannah at the front desk is an amazing young lady who conducts herself with genuine professionalism and friendliness. Others include Kristi, Iris, Parish (I hope I spelled his name right) and Ashley. There is shuttle service available to and from the airport and the shuttle drivers are very friendly. I am sure I left someone out. Anyway, I highly recommend this hotel. There are plenty of restaurant options nearby including historic downtown Springfield which is within walking distance or there is free parking downtown if you are unable to walk. There are occasional maintenance issues you may find when you check into your room due to the pandemic and they like everyone else are short staffed. Simply report any issues you may see and they will take care of you. With as many rooms as they have and the size of the facility they cannot be aware of every little issue, especially if the previous guest in your room did not report it. They want to know where the problems lie so they can address it and give you the best possible stay they can. I always look forward to staying here. I also recommend the food. The restaurant is limited due to Covid restrictions and when I was there the evening meal is ordered at the bar. The food is outstanding and I enjoyed visiting with other patrons that were there as well as Krista and another worker whose name I cannot remember. This review is lengthy but I have the highest regard for what I consider new friends at this hotel and the establishment as a whole. Please give them a try. I don't believe you will be disappointed.

Atrium was beautiful, but nobody was using it. The entire hotel was outdated and the check in girl was less than friendly. There was NO breakfast, the dining/restaurant area was closed and just looked/felt abandoned. Our room took all night and into morning to cool down to 70 degrees. The one night stay cost us about $250 . My guess is that the clientel they usually serve are willing to pay this just do to the proximity to the university. Definitely will not be returning.
