John Houshmand + Hous Projects: The Epitome of Luxury Furniture and Architectural Features Design

John Houshmand is a luxury furniture and architectural features design studio that has been creating bespoke pieces for over 25 years. Based in beautiful upstate New York, the company prides itself on its commitment to quality craftsmanship, sustainability, and innovation.

At John Houshmand, every piece of furniture or architectural feature is custom made by hand. This means that each item is unique and tailored to the client's specific needs and preferences. From dining tables to bookcases, from doors to wall panels, John Houshmand's creations are not just functional but also works of art.

The company's founder, John Houshmand himself, is an artist at heart who has always been fascinated by the beauty of natural materials such as wood, stone, metal or glass. He believes that these materials have their own stories to tell and that it is his job as a designer to bring out their inherent qualities through his work.

One of the things that sets John Houshmand apart from other luxury furniture brands is its commitment to sustainability. The company sources all its materials from responsibly managed forests or reclaimed sources whenever possible. This means that clients can enjoy beautiful pieces without compromising on their environmental values.

Another aspect that makes John Houshmand unique is its collaboration with architects and designers through its subsidiary brand "Hous Projects". This division specializes in creating custom architectural features such as doors, walls or ceilings for high-end residential or commercial projects. By working closely with architects and designers from the early stages of a project until completion, "Hous Projects" ensures seamless integration between architecture and interior design.

In terms of style, John Houshmand's creations are timeless yet contemporary. They combine clean lines with organic shapes; raw textures with polished finishes; traditional techniques with modern technology. Whether you prefer a rustic or a refined look, John Houshmand can create a piece that reflects your personality and lifestyle.

The company's portfolio includes a wide range of furniture pieces such as dining tables, coffee tables, consoles, chairs or benches. Each piece is made to order and can be customized in terms of size, shape, material or finish. Some of the most popular materials used by John Houshmand include walnut, oak, maple, steel or glass.

In addition to furniture pieces, John Houshmand also creates custom architectural features such as doors, walls or ceilings through its subsidiary brand "Hous Projects". These features are designed to complement the overall aesthetic of a space while providing functional solutions for privacy or acoustics.

One example of "Hous Projects" work is the custom-made sliding doors created for the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City. These doors not only provide privacy between rooms but also serve as art installations with their intricate patterns and textures.

Another example is the custom-made wall panels created for a private residence in Miami Beach. These panels not only add visual interest to the space but also serve as soundproofing elements that enhance acoustic quality.

Overall, John Houshmand + Hous Projects are synonymous with luxury furniture and architectural features design that combines quality craftsmanship with sustainability and innovation. Whether you are looking for a statement piece for your home or an architectural feature for your project, John Houshmand can create something truly unique that will stand the test of time.
