We were very excited going in..After a quick interview she gave my daughter a B and then asked for thousands of dollars.. I had already spoke to someone outside of this agency, and was told if they ask for money they are a SCAM!
I recently finished my classes. I'm usually a shy and very self- conscious person but these classes have made me more confident and willing to step out of my comfort zone. Alvin, Sarah, Dray, Joe are all great teachers who gave me lots of constructive criticism and tons of tips on how to improve. Amber boosted my confidence so much with all of her makeup tips. It was a great experience and I'm looking forward to what's in store for my future with the company!
I paid them 3000 dollars to manageme and to have am agent through them and take classes... they never sent me to am auction never helped me find one... the classes were things you could find on YouTube AND then they offered to.have me pay more money to supposedly take a trip #Scam and then tried to come back and try to get me to pay for the classes again, when I told them I already did them they offered me to pay for that sad excuse for an agent again

John Casablancas Columbus, Ohio is phenomenal! I enrolled in their program in 2010. Not only their a talent agency but a school that will provide you wealth of information to be successful in the industry. Some talent inquiries do not have to do their program and just get signed with the agency. However, I audition and enrolled in their program. Personally, their program helped me with my confidence since I was victim of being bullied in school. Since I have been with the Agency and completed the program. I have worked for Dolly Parton as full time employee for 3.5 years, performed for Lance Bass from (*NSYNC), featured on reality TV show and was offered several PAID modeling gigs. Which makes me hold a lot gratitude and feel thankful for the staff and instructors at JC. Knowledge is a powerful tool and they just don t make talent, they produce entrepreneurs in the industry.

I had a good experience going there for the short time that I did I just did not get the opportunity to move forward because of The things that were going on in my life at that time but I love the vibe I got from going inside the building Maria was very nice and Bruce was very cool I miss going up there. Also I know that I miss out on opportunities with them so I m looking forward to coming back and my only question is at that time I believe I paid for that month but I never got to do anything within that month so would I be able to start from where we left off at or do I have to start over. Also I never paid attention to the negative comments a lot of people just be in their feelings and can t except the fact that they are not what They re are looking for.
John Casablancas is a very fun experience. Going through their classes, i ve definitely felt myself grow as a person and the best part is getting to do it with the other peers in the class! The instructors have good experience so they know what they re talking about, they teach great advice and do fun activities to help us open up with our skills. Just make sure you re financially prepared and have real goals in mind so you can take this advanced training to an amazing level and be the greatest you can be out there !

PLEASE HEAR ME OUT!! This place is solely built to make money off of people! They will help you learn how to act! But, they will not help you actually get a spot, they will not help as an agent, they are the most shady place I've ever been to, they will tell you only a few will bee selected but that is a complete lie! They accept everyone willing to pay them the thousands of dollars, also the success stories they tell you are complete B.S. because they have no part in helping you be famous or anything! There is a height and weight that model company's look for 5'11 and up for men and 165-200 pounds is what they look for, and they look for woman 5'9 and freaking 90lbs to like 145lbs if you dont meet these its gonna be hard to get a shoot, my advice being a photographer is to find someone you trust to do your head shots and record you reading a script, dont pay these crooks to do nothing for you they should be shut down! There is many law suits against them because they lie to everyone about what they do! Also they charge everybody a different amount based on how much they think theyll be able to milk out ffrom you! FINAL THING IMMA SAY!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

3 of my children are with MTM one has graduated classes and the other 2 will graduate in a couple weeks. Since joining MTM we've been to auditions in LA we are about to go to New York for auditions, and my son has been in couple movies and a runway show and done some other modeling. We couldn't be happier. The staff is amazing the skills and knowledge they've taught my kids will take them far. I highly recommend this company!!!!

Although I was skeptical about what I could learn, I find myself learning something new at every class. The people there are supportive. They want to share their knowledge. This place is an excellent start to building yourself and your career. The classes are convenient. I can still have my job and family time.

so about a half year or so ago i got involved with these classes and i didn t end up liking it. my original vibe was that they were friendly and i had high hopes but the longer i was there the more i realized this wasn t for me. i don t think they discuss everything with the potential students enough before they join .. and personally they kindly rushed me through the financial contract .. made me feel like it wasn t important to read through and well i ended up spending my first $1150 on absolutely nothing because i only attended 2 classes before i dropped it ... it took me crying on the phone with a guy named kurt to get the price dropped to around 1500 and then they told me that they would let go of anything else i owed them if i took the review down. my bad experience doesn t mean you ll have one too but make sure you have the money for this and TAKE YOUR TIME. follow your gut, not what anyone else tells you.

It s an investment for sure. But it is worth it if you re looking to go far and advance in the industry! I went to an event hosted by MTM in LA and a 1 1/2 weeks later I got an email from 2 agents saying that they are interested in speaking with me further! This is a great step in the right direction and I thank MTM for that! I can t wait to see what my future holds now!
Scammers! From start to finish, they kept asking for more and more $$ for my son, simple casting also cost $$ and at the end, my son left Casablanca with $3000 worth of a hand mirror, a makeup brush set and a Casablanca logo bag.

Scammed me out of $200 dollars years ago made many attempts to get a refund since i never even went to any classes. They take my name and number and said they would have someone call me everytime and yet here we are still no refund. Btw all these good reviews are fake. Dont be fooled you will be sorry if you do. Everyone is a B. Both times i went i got a B.
This place is almost a scam.
My entire college degree focused on entertainment contracts and the description of the process that the agents gave was laughable. The agent I spoke to during my second audition, Nick, was rude when I told him I shouldn t have to be paying close to $3,000 for some acting classes. If you ever have to pay to be a part of an agency, they re not legit. They re supposed to invest in the talent, help develop you, and take a portion of your earnings AFTER they get you a job.
This establishment should just call themselves a school, not an agency. I don t doubt that they give quality instruction, but I would hate to see how they crush dreams by misleading some hopeful person who may not understand he industry. Misrepresentation at its finest.
The people were nice. However, they say on their site that they will work into your schedule. LIE! They refuse the times and dates you tell them will work, and after you tell them what won't work, they just give you a time that won't work. They do it to force you into things. NEVER GO THERE! I got accepted, but they wouldn't work with me properly. Also, it's not a family friendly environment.

I had an audition with Alvin and he is really really creepy. He kept giving me really weird looks and weird vibes. I was already skeptical about coming here and this just confirmed my suspension. I don t know about the other people working there but definitely steer clear of Alvin.

They ve spoken to my daughter so unprofessionally it s absolutely ridiculous!! My daughter has even mentioned that they have used profanity with her on multiple occasions. This place is made for training not for modeling!! Your money has no future here and neither does your kid. My daughter is mentally scared from this place she has lost a sense of self esteem because of how rude they ve treated her here. The company did not follow through on their end of the contract that was signed.
I am sure the timing of when we joined had an affect on the experience we encountered. We signed up and then COVID-19 occurred within a few weeks.
We completed the classes online, which was not ideal for a 6 year old. They had my 6 year old initially with young adults, then I had to inquire about getting her placed into the proper class and age placement, not the other way around.
We never received the full service of items as stated by the contract you sign with them.
Our point of contact changed and no one ever followed back up after that.
Once we completed the online class no one ever contacted us about the following steps, the photo shoot, a signing, and the information they should provide so you can go to auditions.
The communication and service has been poor.
I would not recommend them at this time.

My daughter has begun the in person classes at this time, which is something that is available, and we were informed of this when we signed.
At this time it is a wait and see approach in how the next 2 months go.

Love John Casablanca s Model & Talent Agency. I ve had both of my daughters with them and they love it. Not only is it an amazing opportunity but for both my girls it helped with confidence, learning the fashion business and breaking out of their shells. This is definitely an agency I would recommend for anyone looking to get into the modeling or acting career.

I ve contacted Maria and the staff for multiple projects needing talent and have also referred her clients from our market needing qualified and experienced models. She is extremely hands on answering calls at all hours of the day on her cell. Better yet, she knows her talent!!! She has a large talent pool and was able to advise and direct me on exactly which talent had the skills and abilities able to carry the project. One project in particular was very specific needing spokes talent that were teleprompter proficient with a very specific look and just like that, she suggested multiple seasoned actors with excellent resumes along with reels to view. Bottom line, she has made me look good on several occasions and if I have a project in the Midwest, I wouldn t think of contacting another agency.
We have had an amazing time with MTM. My daughter has met some wonderful new friends and has been offered amazing opportunities that I could never have dreamed about. It s like she has a whole other family that is there for her. I couldn t be more happy!!!

My experience with MTM is a little unorthodox because I got signed right before COVID happened and halted the world and changed things as we knew them. That said, one thing that never changed was the consistency, effort and great coaching as well as communication I received from the whole team. From Maria answering all of my concerns and questions promptly despite how busy she is, to the amazing coach Jawana Smith who taught me so much throughout the program in an online manner. I can t thank MTM enough for everything they ve done for me. Acting has always been my dream and will be my career for the rest of my life. I m glad to say I got my start with Model and Talent Management in Columbus. Since completing the course, I ve done a short film scene which premiered on the big screen at the Abbey Theater, have gotten another short TV role which will be in the Spring, have learned all the basics as well as the advanced methods to my acting. I have gained so much experience in acting and preparation and my success wouldn t have been possible without them and especially Jawana who taught us something new to add to our arsenal each and every week. As with anything in life, you get out what you put in. Don t show up? Don t expect to magically become a great actor and get auditions and gigs. Not how it works. But if you are enthusiastic and put the hard work in, you will be helped by MTM and you will have a successful career in this very challenging industry. I m already living proof of that.

I ve been involved with John Casablanca Columbus for several years and I auditioned for several agents , I went to La and was selected by an agency it definitely was a great experience for me !
It was a great learning opportunity but I never got any copies of my pictures back.
I went to go audition, which on the call the girl told me there would only be 2 people in the room, and when we got called back there was 20 or so people(who were also auditioning). I wanted to start out small and work my way up on how many people i'd preform infront of. The director was so rude to me when I told him I wanted to leave.
"This isnt made for you" is the sentence that made me break down crying.
When people audition, they'd rather have professional people around them than other kids auditioning. You cant get a good audition from someone if you are infront of people they possibly know or even people way older than them.
Directors need to know that crushing someones dreams isnt the best thing to do. Everyone in that room saw the look on his face when I left.
About a year ago I signed up for classes at John Casablancas. Through their classes I have learned so much. One of the main areas they had helped me with was my self-esteem. I had grown confident knowing I have an amazing team And tools that will help me to make sure I become successful.
Whenever I need something, I know I can reach out to them. Alvin, the Director of Education, has always been there when I need to have one on one tutoring or self tappings. Just by him working with me, has landed me a couple roles in films.
Recently, I had gone to LA, to audition in front of 10 agencies. I had the opportunity to do this through one of their Talent Tours. I know I never could have done this on my own, and in just one day. These workshops are there to help you see different perspectives of an audition, life in the spot light, and what an agency is looking for.

at first it was great, i auditioned, they gave me a "b" (they give you an a, b, or a c based on your audition) and i went back a few days later and auditioned again, they said it was practically perfect and asked me if i wanted to become part of their agency, i talked it over with my mom because i was only 11 at the time, and she said yes, after we had agreed, not on paper or anything, they said it was nearly 4,000 to take classes and get head shots, we said we would have to hold off and think because it was so much. i later talked to my moms friend who is very high up in the modeling industry and told him about how much it was and he said it is fake and they just want your money, he asked what agency it was and i told him john Casablanca's and he told me that place is fake, you will never get anywhere with them and they just want your money. so please don't go here, they will just take your money

This company is a scam. I feel like inquiring for basic necessary questions for what is involved and how much things will cost are common concerns that need to be addressed. I explained to them that I wasn't going to pay money up (2K) for classes I wasn't interested in. When she tried to tell me that NO money was involved. I asked how much everything was and was replied with some rude comment about my question (see print screen below) any place that is extremely unprofessional with simple questions is a RED FLAG. I believe if you are going to invest your time and money into an establishment that is supposedly going to get you into commercials, modelling - then one should be allowed to do so. Do not fall for the this place. ALL LIES - and the fact that there is no business etiquette says it all. If this is how they treat someone - then they have ZERO concern for their reputation and ZERO concern for customer service.
Jc model and talent is amazing. Everyone is so welcoming and warm and they truly want what is best for you . They push you to your potential and work around your schedule. Yes, there is money involved, but you have to spend money to make money. Nothing but great things to say about this agency and the people in it. I did a Ford commercial through them and it was such an amazing experience! I can't wait to do more and go further .

Joined them in 2010 and never got anything! Do not waste your money! It's a scam/ I complained about one client and never heard from them again. They also moved locations and I never got notified and was left out of group texts for possible jobs. All I got out of it was how to walk a runway.
It was great, they do a wonderful fantastic marvels job with the kids, I just loved the way the kids perform.
