Menu is limited to boost table turnover (go with the fajitas!). Margaritas are very good. I recommend sitting outside; it's gorgeous! The food is great, the service is great, the ambience is beautiful...and the margaritas are great....don't know what else you want? Oh, don't be alarmed about the line to get in...it moves quickly and you can have drinks while in line.
Highly recommend this place.

Always a nice place to dine at. It is the first restaurant I've been to since the pandemic begin in March and I felt safe.
Still remains a great place to dine at... Plus the atmosphere outdoor dining - is always the best!

Iconic Mexican Food in Ft. Worth. Great service, the best margaritas and consistently top notch food. The garden area is truly an oasis to enjoy. If in Ft. Worth, treat yourself- you won't be disappointed!

The outside atmosphere was nice, but the menu had few choices and surprisingly didn't taste authentic at all. The beans tasted like they came out of a can and the rice was super salty. Probably wouldn't go back.

Classic Tex-Mex in a restaurant that's still family-owned after all these years. The food is delicious, service is reliably good, the rooms have different feels to them, and the sweets in the front counter are all yummy to take for the road. Make sure you have cash-- they don't take credit cards. There is an atm machine near the kitchen. It's a must-visit for sure.

Not always worth the wait, except when the weather is great. When it is nice weather, this place is like Disney World. Feels like another country. Love that Fort Worth can claim to be the home to this amazing experience of a restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic. What other place can condense their dinner menu to just two choices (Fajitas and Enchiladas) and still pack it out with huge lines waiting to get in? Their food is amazing, the portions are massive, the outdoor patio seating is unlike anywhere else, and the wait staff are fast and friendly. It had been 9 years since I was last in the area and it was still as good as I remembered. Do yourself a favor and go!

We have tried to visit this place several times since we moved here but it's always been packed so we had high expectations but we were disappointed yesterday. Our waiter was attentive but who ever brought out the "cheese nacho" just basically tossed the plate on the table towards my husband and left. The chicken fajitas were dry and burnt. The steak was ok. We won't try this again.

All I can say is WOW WOW WOW! These folks did an amazing job taking care of a large party of us celebrating my beautiful daughter wedding shower!
The food was amazing, service was above and beyond!! Fingers crossed, maybe we will get to have a baby shower here soon! Lol
Thank you to the entire staff for taking such great care of us!!! God Bless y all!!

It's a really basic menu with stuff that you would think you can make yourself at home but you cant. I think they add magic or something into there food to make it taste even better than normal tacos, enchiladas, cheese nachos, and beans. I think its cash only? I'm not sure if it is still so bring cash anyway, if you forget they have an atm.

Joe T' s is a place to go to "See and be seen" - great for people watching. I, unfortunately, cannot recommend the food, but don't necessarily take my word for it. I am allergic to peppers and cannot eat most Tex-Mex food.

They have two entrees from which to choose, and NO options for people who do not like, or cannot eat Tex-Mex food. Fortunately, they WILL prepare their monster-sized nachos with just beans and cheese and they don't load their refried beans with peppers.

Our server was positively surly (A large birthday party usually means a large service charge AND a gratuity. He's very lucky I was not in charge of paying.) While everyone who ordered Margaritas got as many as they wanted to pay for, my iced tea was refilled exactly once, when I held my empty glass above the level of the top of my head to get someone's attention. It went empty for FAR longer than it had anything in it.

Short-version: Arrogant and inattentative server, too much food going to waste. BEAUTIFUL place to go inside and outside. Hadn't been in more than a dozen years; barring another birthday party where I am attending for the company and not the food, it will be at least that long before I go back...maybe longer.

First of all this place is entirely overhyped. Only two options of food which would be okay if it was as good as people say it is. It s DECENT, tastes like any other Mexican restaurant. Only accept cash give alcohol to anyone, I REPEAT they give alcohol to ANYONE won t even check their ID s, and they keep em coming so a 19 year old comes in sober walks out drunk. Service is ok- lots of uptight college students just wanting to get the day over with. All in all definitely not what I expected.

The knock on Joe T s has always been Great atmosphere, so so food. But in my last visit the food was really good. We had combo fajitas and cheese enchiladas and all was great. A little difficult out in the patio when it s hot outside but when the weather is nice the atmosphere can t be beat in Ft. Worth.

This place is as legendary as Billy Bob's, and for good reason, they have probably the best enchiladas and fajitas in the dfw, and I love the history of the place, started as a one room tiny restaurant and has grown to be one of the nicest places around, the food and the hospitality are what keep bringing people back, theres a reason the line is always long, cause like I said not only is it legendary as far as musicians and celebs that have been there, but the food is legendary too.

You gotta know waht to expect. This is not a 5 star resturaunt. It does do what it does better than any 5 star resturaunt i know. Thats relaxed atmospher with stunning ambience and very very attractive wait staff. The margaritas are good. The fajitas are good the family dinner is good. Wich is good, cause thats all there is to choose from and youll love it!!!

Not a fan. No split tickets, two meals to choose from! Margaritas were strong but tasted awful. 30.00 for a meal and one drink. Patio was beautiful, seating was fast. No menu available. No credit cards! Cash or checks only, lol. For those prices you can afford a 2.00 fee for credit cards. Not particularly friendly or inviting.

The dining setting was beautiful with a spacious alfresco inspired patio backed by a colorful hardscape. There was a slight line of patrons that anxiously awaited the famed dining experience. The menu offers narrow choices, and conspicuously missing were beef enchiladas. The cheese enchiladas were sumptuous but I was hoping for hints of something unique like Castello or aged Roncal cheese. The salsa was fresh but somehow liked a full-flavor seasoning, perhaps lacking organic garlic or Syzygium aromaticum, and was a tad disheartening. The Rice and beans were filling and synergized with the enchiladas. The food took more time that I envisioned, especially given the circumscribed, narrow menu choices. Dining at juggernaut Joe T's was pleasant but there are opportunities to culinary distance itself from the competition.

Its pretty basic. There are only 2 menu options. Enchiladas or Fajitas. Each option is enough for 2 people. Perfect date night option. Food comes out quickly. The outdoor seating is amazing. It is CASH ONLY though.

Great Margs and a fun outdoorsy feel but the food and service was well below par, even for Joe T s.
Cute waitress but belongs in another line of work, maybe a tanning salon. Even the nacho that I really look forward to (that generally comes before the entree) came after and the cheese wasn t melted. This isn t rocket science. #timbotruth

Margaritas? Go ahead and get a pitcher just make sure to have a designated driver! Do you have someone in your family that can't decide what to eat? Go here. There are only 2 choices, cheese enchiladas and fajitas! Both are great! On Sunday they do have additional food options. The salsa if fantastic.

The food is ok. We didn't get nacho/cheese chips this past time like we should have but since I was there with family I didn't want to make a big fuss over it. Not sure if I will go back. I recommended once at least.

I thought with soo many people there and their super long lines the would be awesome. There are no menus they only serve fajitas or enchiladas. We ordered the fajitas and they didn't have any flavor at all. We had a party of 9 and sat at a round table and we had to shout to one another because it was too freaking loud in there. They also dont take credit cards, cash or check only. They do have ATMs but , Honestly I expected better, I will not be going back there again. If you all want awesome fajitas go to MERCADO JUAREZ on Northside Dr. Those are the best fajitas! And best Margaritas! The only thing I liked was their salsa, Caliente.

Nice patio that's about it. Wasn't given a menu didn't ask us for drinks didn't have enough silverware food was very dry and bland and waiter could not be bothered to refill our water or margaritas or give us basic condiments like cheese and sour cream. Very bad experience I left hungry.

Ambiance is exceptional, wait staff is fantastic, the live mariachi music really adds to the atmosphere. My only complaint is that the food (and I can only speak of the combo fajitas that I ordered) was unremarkable. It wasn't bad, just not the quality I was expecting.

We came here for an office party, the food was amazing, the drinks were spot on. Definitely going back, well worth the price.
Edit: second year in a row, this place is amazing. The food is bomb, and the strawberrita's are to die for!

Excellent. It's typically crazy busy, but with the weather a bit chilly and a late lunch/early dinner, we dodged the crowds. They had heat lamps outside. The food was delicious, cash only though. We had the combo fajitas and I am looking forward to trying the enchiladas next time!
