Great service! Ax throwing was fantastic! The best...
Great service! Ax throwing was fantastic! The best flat bread in town, but the crab was nothing to brag about.
Great service! Ax throwing was fantastic! The best flat bread in town, but the crab was nothing to brag about.
The axe throwing made the visit! We tried a few appetizers. The wings were great, the nachos, not so much. The host was great though. Definitely recommend.
Ordered 2 of the Steampots. (Shrimp, crab legs, mini corn on the cobs, potatoes). Food was mediocre at best. Everything was overcooked with no seasoning. It all tasted the same, bland mush. Never went back.
The axe throwing is fun and the interior is pleasant, but the menu is limited.
The service sucked the wait staff took 45 minutes to recognize we was even there. I would not recommend this place at all!!
Axe throwing...who knew? What a blast! Great time for all. Staff was very helpful, food and drinks were good, axe throwing just pushes it over the top. Looking forward to the next time. Thought about applying for a job. My wife even had a good time. Way to go Joe K's. Keep up the good work.
First experience with Joe Ks was because of the axe throwing. My friend and I have been back twice since then. Once to throw axes again and another time to play pool. There is never a wait for service. We typically go outside during the summer to play horseshoes and drink. Prices are reasonable for drinks. Never tried their food yet.
Great fun. Good food, good drinks, great staff and axe throwing..who could ask more. I would recommend it for everyone.
The food wasn't all that it's okay to go have drinks what not to eat in there
The food, drinks and service at Joe K's is fantastic!! I love the Summer Fish Bowl!! I always come for the Bob 94.9 concerts and I love coming !!
this place went downhill big time. It used to be good like a year ago, but they stopped offering the same foods they once had that made them great like buffalo chicken dip, and they added axe throwing instead of live bands which I think was to just to appeal to one crowd that will buy drinks and throw axes. if you are there for that then fine, but expect to have long waits on both your drinks and your food. I stopped going here a few months ago.
Their steam pots are delicious as is the fried oreo dessert.
Great place for dinner or just a night out! Generation Axe is located inside with coached axe throwing sessions for something new for you and friends to try! Great date night idea!
Great food awesome axe throwing experience with knowledage and helpful staff
Food was good, service was great. Friendly, efficient, even though the kitchen was slow. The only complaint is that the ladies room is extremely Filthy!! The outside of all the toilets are SO discusting, the smell is appauling and you stick to the floors! The only thing remotely clean are the sinks. I couldn't even take my granddaughter in for fear she'd touch something.
Had an awesome time throwing an ax. Food was delightful. Staff was friendly. Thanks for a good night
Haven the sever is the best, quik n attentive is wat I like
Our first visit. We enjoyed it. It was nice to get out a bit. The staff was friendly and provided instructional guidance on how to throw. They made it a lot of fun. The only reason that I didn't give 4 stars, was that even though we ordered drinks, we were required to also purchase a food item. We had just eaten before we arrived and hadn't planned on more food. We brought it home. We're already planning another visit. Thanks for a great time.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly recommend Generation Axe. Lots of fun!
It was great food and great service !!!
The axe throwing was awesome!!
Food was ok. Not great. Limited entrees. Mainly sandwiches. If you dont want a lot of the noise, the axe throwing makes a lot of noise.
Very good. Great service. They have a pool table and axe throwing in house. Awesome wings as well
Love the steamer pot for 2! Nice prices and friendly service.
Staff was friendly but slow. The wings were meaty, but the ragin Cajun did not have enough kick. The crab dip was unremarkable and didn't have enough crab. The soft pretzel pieces were quite good, though.
One of my Go-Tos. The staff is awesome and it has a great crowd
Wasn't worth the 1 hour drive. Waiter was clearly there to push the adult beverage. Witch was fine considering where we where. But had to ask multiple times for soda witch we never did recive some of our drinks.. Throwing axes looked cool but I think most country boys have gotten mad and threw an axe a time or too. Had fun with friends but wouldnt go back, just not for me.
Our experience while axe throwing was awesome with a great instructor and cheerleader for both teams however the serving staff and owner was unfortunate as they accused our group of being intoxicated which could not have been farther from the truth. They had their "eyes on us" from the start and truly ruined, or tried to ruin, a COVID safe friend get together. I hope this does not happen to another group and sad to say this was our last visit to this establishment.
When I had visited Joe Ks brewery, it was sort of busy but not to bad. The lobster I had ordered was pregnant and was leaking green fluid so they had to bring me a new one. The drinks are sort of expensive so I wouldnt really ever come back. I do not suggest going here as there are plenty of better places to scoot around to in the city.
In two hours and fifteen minutes i consumed two draft beers and an appetizer at a table of six. Was there for a birthday after 8PM so it wasnt the worst thing in the world. Good atmosphere and good nachos.
Neat atmosphere, but really Lacks in its offering. It has a lot of issues, and also does not have very high quality food... as a Brewhouse, it doesn't have a very wide selection of beer, and as a restaurant it does not have a very solid array of food that is prepared well. Another problem I have with the place is the attention of the service. But, the redeeming fact that brings it up to par is the environment and atmosphere. They have a great offering of entertainment and they have a really great space... Proceed at your own risk.
It's alright. Just your run of the mill eatery/bar. Only redeeming factor is the axe throwing.
Food was too expensive for what you got. And too noisy
A good place to grab a drink and enjoy entertainment
I have been here twice and I m just not a fan of their food and drinks. The service was sooo slow and when the food came it wasn t hot. My friend ordered fettuccine Alfredo and I was so disappointed in their serving, it was the smallest serving I ve ever seen, Olive Garden is two dollars more and much bigger portion. The drinks was entirely too sweet and small portion of liquor. It was way too sugary the drinks. The one thing I did enjoy from here was the AX throwing that is actually really fun and the instructors are really good! Definitely try the AX throwing and if you need a drink just get bottled beer or draft, skip the mixed drinks.
Axe throwing was great and bar had lots of room and good atmosphere.
Terrible service. Waited two hours and didn t even get our appetizers.... and they were pretzels with mustard. Wow just wow! Do not go here. Save yourself three hours and a lot of stress.
Stacey's Mom has got it going on! Wings were delish... Middleswarth BBQ Chip wings are the best. I'm from the South, these guys can do it right. Bartender Ethan is awesome! Don't miss this place, I almost went to boring Outback.... I now want to add hatchet throwing into my barn space in Georgia.......
They've updated their menu several times since my first visit, but the food always winds up quite good. The beer selection is excellent, and the staff is always friendly and fun.
The axe throwing is so much fun. There is an outdoor game area where your furry friends are welcome too. Loads of fun.
The staff here is awesome! They went out of their way to accommodate our group, more than any other place would do, I m sure. Will definitely be back again!
Generation Axe - this was a great place to host an event! The staff was incredible, the food/drinks were great and it was an all around awesome experience!!
Very comfortable, my buddies i grew up with meet me there, we like it!! & great friendly service!!
Went to go axe throwing with the family (a group of 8 of us) several weeks back. The axe throwing was something different which was great. Our axe-pert was wonderful and engaging. However, the management was the most unprofessional I've ever experienced. The food was mediocre at best, and the prices were ridiculous. Someone in our party was in a wheelchair (who is very physically active and young so she can hold and throw an axe just fine) and nowhere on their website did they mention before hand that she couldnt be a part of the axe throwing, yet people drinking can throw an axe? I'm not sure how that makes sense. The manager had told us that due to the inconvenience of her having to make the trip all the way there and her paying for her part, that he would comp our food (which was 3 appetizers in total). When we were ready to leave the manager stayed in the back and sent a waitress out to tell us that they would not be taking anything off of the bill. He couldnt even come out of the back to talk with us himself. We didnt have a server so we had to put our order in at the bar which was unoccupied by any staff half of the time and ended up eating up our axe throwing time due to waiting to put in an order. Then our axe throwing was supposed to last 90 minutes (until 530) and we were cut off at 515. We will never be stepping foot in this place again. You have lost our business. Trust the low reviews of this place and dont spend your hard earned money here.
Had a drink they sell in a fishbowl and it tasted like JUICE. Waiter told me if I wanted it stronger, I'd have to pay 5 dollars a shot. A shot wouldnt have fixed my watered down drink. Overall, we all enjoyed our food.
Arrived Sunday midnight. Long term. Open for business? Yes? Had a great ipa from Hershey but missed out on ace tossing. Coooool place
The food took forever and i was sick puking the rest of the weekend.Sharp pains. I don't know if it was food poison. Won't ever go back.
Lot of fun. Friendly staff. Great deal on the axe throwing!
Menu was very limited but cool setup with the axe throwing
As always I had an excellent time. Our server was awesome. Not too many people and for the most part everyone was respectful and kept their distance
Excellent place. Staff very friendly and attentive! Great food, great service, and 5hrowing axes? Yes please! Spence was our ax-pert, offering tips on throwing, humor and awesome company for 7 of us! Great time, will definitely be back soon. As of right now, Covid precautions are in place, masks are required in the throwing area, not while eating or drinking. Staff is masked and throughly clean areas between guests. Great time for sure!
Stopped here to try axe throwing and have a drink. Nice place with a great atmosphere and friendly employees. My group of 10 had a good time but we quickly learned that axe throwing isn't as easy as it looks but we would try it again. The place was pretty well packed but the crowd was well behaved and drinks came fast
First time there, met friends from work. Threw axes, lots of fun. Food was good, great selection of beers. Will go back
We love the deck and bringing our pup to Joe K's backyard.
Well....waitress was terrific. But we waited an hour and a half to get our food. My wife got the sreampot for 28.95 and it had very little in it. Four pieces of shrimp was unacceptable. Kitchen was obviously clueless and inexperienced. Totally unable to accommodate paying customers. Restaurant has taken a downward spiral since our last visit.
Freaking AWESOME place. Ax throwing is so much fun. Make reservations first because it gets busy. Also if your into seafood order the steampot....delish
Had a GREAT time throwing axes! Ethan was our axe expert and he was fantastic. I highly recommend anyone stop in and give it a throw.
This place has a great layout. Dining, stage, bar and patio with fire pits awesome hang out spot. Food is great hasn t disappointed me yet and drinks are good too. 1 waitress failed me on an occasion but service is pretty good.
Crab fettuccine alfredo made w/ gouda cheese was delicious. Plenty of crab meat and sauce.
good food.
but could food and the restaurant.
Its better if you call and order you food because it takes so long.
Food was good, service was spotty. They have axe throwing but didn't promote sign-ups well at all.
Outside patio is great place to hang out.
Good music, fire pits, etc.
Service can be slow.
Bacon wrapped sandwiches taste great, but feel like heart attack inducing as you eat them. Preferred the Guinness Pub Fries, very satiafying, with bacon, onions and cheese over heavy battered, thick cut fries.
Wonderful staff. Always very friendly and are quick to ask if you need anything if they see a drink (alcoholic or otherwise) low.
It sucked. It took a half hour to even get appetizers and drinks. It took an hour and a half for our food...3 out of 7 meals were missing something. The table next to us were given cold food. This is the first time in 8 years that I haven't left a tip. I know it's not completely the waiters but he could have told the manager. The manager was walking around and going out to smoke. I would never go back. Yet another drive to a restaurant only to be disappointed by the service. They have lost atleast 7 customers.
