If I could give Joe Basil zero Stars I would! Jake was very rude and very upset I did not want to hand over $1800 to do my brakes and my ENTIRE muffler system. He told me I needed an oil change and I did not have one since January. I tried to tell him I just had it in the summer. He also told me that my brakes were dangerous and I should not be driving. I called my husband. He told me all he had to do in the car was push a button and it would tell him when my oil was changed. He told me he knows this. He told me they are just trying to rip me off. Also my husband checked my brakes when I got home. They were 25% good which means they were not dangerous to drive on and he will change them this week. I will take my car to our mechanic who I am certain will not charge me $1,800 and tell me I need an oil change that I already had! Shame on you Jake! You have a very distrustful demeanor! Please people if you need your car to be fixed, do not go to Basil Ford where you may have bought it. And don't buy a used car from them either because my car has been a big headache. They were dishonest and never told me I was turned down from my first loan, so they went with a higher creditor. I already had a prior offer I could have went through on karma credit at a much lower rate! Do not trust them! They are in it for the money ONLY!
