Great neighborhood gym. Hours for the fitness center in the pic

Lovely place! Great community fun activities, and in my opinion, a gym and pool MUST always have a sauna and jacuzzi! Nice atmosphere.

Our gang really loves the impressive line up in the Speaker Series located at the JCC.

I like the new theater here a lot. The only drawback is that it is so far away from the East Bay, but other than that I like seeing performances here. The dance and music selections are usually very good and there isn't a bad seat in the house. I'm glad when something gives me a reason to go here.

Having been to a ton of gyms around the city... Definitely one of the best gyms in the city - without paying the exorbitant prices of Equinox (it is a great alternative to it).

Great family & young professional environment, and welcoming to people of all races, colors & creeds. Very, very clean and all brand new and super well maintained equipment.

If you live by here and are a young professional you can all get on a "family plan" together with your roommates which makes it much more affordable. All around highly recommended!

Great gym if you live in the area. Nice locker rooms, free classes with membership, and a cool loyalty program. Peak hours can be pretty busy though.

Last time I was there over a year ago, the peculiar rule about not allowing to bring my backpack with a change of clothes to the second floor for feldenkrais class. Very off-putting the way I was treated

The swimming lessons for children are terrific for the most part.

To start with, the facility is top notch. The locker rooms are great. The lap pool is great. And the shallow pool where children take lessons is warm and large enough. There is parking under the building for a fee. In the lobby there is a snack bar.

The teachers we have encountered have been excellent. They are comfortable with scared young children and are good at getting them to have a good time in the pool.

The atmosphere in the pool area isn't nearly as loud as the atmosphere at La Petite Baleen, another popular place to teach children to swim in San Francisco.
