At first was very excited about attending the school. But seems more and more it s about money. I know this is troubling times because of covid but it is very hard how they are going about things at times. I was hopeful but now when you ask about your safety you are basically told if you can t deal with how we are doing things then take a leave of absence. Which is sad because that s not what you would like to hear from a NURSING school about health and safety especially if you don t live alone so if you get something you will most likely give it to whom ever you live with. Let s just hope we won t be the next school on the news about students getting ill. If you plan on attending the school maybe hold off until covid has subside or find a school that is aware of student safety and not only aware of your pockets.

I recently graduated from the LPN program. Teachers are excellent, they have a lot of experience plus always do their best to help you with everything. Nursing school is hard some people do it until the end others do not. They have an exit test which is hard but not impossible to pass. As a graduated student I would have like to see a better environment among students. There are people from different backgrounds which sometime allow a hostile environment. Jersey college should be careful with the students they admit in the school. In addition, technology is a key for success these days. They desperate need to update their technological resources. At the time of given grades students should be able to have access to a web page in which they can see the actual grades, GPA and schedules.
Overall I recommend jersey college

THIS IS THE WORST SCHOOL IN HISTORY OF SCHOOLS!!! PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. This has absolutely been the worst experience I have ever encountered for school. When you need help and try to reach out for assistance no one replies back to your phone calls nor emails. But some how, some way they know how to get in touch with you to get a payment every month! Forget about admission. They sit you down and tell you all these good things about the school and how long the program is for but forget to mention once your course is completed you still have to take an additional 5 week course to take your exit then your allowed to sit for your NCLEX! Oh and another thing. If you think for a second they'll let you see you grade for the exam forget about it. Once you take an exam it literally takes about 2 weeks of waiting to get your score, and if you wait on MS. Provost for your grade it will take at least 4 weeks and don't think about calling or emailing her. She's allergic to responding back to people. When asked if you can see what you got wrong she will say "wE aReNt aLlOwEd tO sHoW yOu yOuR eXam, yOuR tEsT iS pRiVaTe" like huh?? IT'S MINES! So what they do is give you the top 5 question majority of the class got wrong and that's it. The reason why I passed was because I got a tutor and paid a lot of money for it. This school constantly changes it's rule to better themselves and get more money. I really wished I attended another school because the way they do things here is ridiculous!!!! The only class where I enjoyed learning and the teachers were amazing and really cared about us understanding the course was Mr. Ramdat (mental health) and Ms. Molina (ob/peds). They should teach at universities not this place.

If i could give a NO STAR, i would. Never consider this school to become a nurse. They only want YOUR money. They don t care what anyone is going through ESPECIALLY this pandemic. They are stealing people s money, i got a refund months ago and they are expecting it to give it back to them. Apparently it is legal for them to keep it when this is really a refund for the students as a leftover but they say that this is a remaining balance due when it is not because i contact the student loans department. Please dont ever go to this school and save your time and money

This is my worst experience ever with an office administration. I scheduled test, but they never told me the slot was full and have to move to other date only after I called them on my scheduled date. After passing the test, no one reached my what to do next. I have to call them again. Again later, I was called for online educational interview which they never provide the link. I called them and email, but no response on calls and email. I don't know why they hire such people.

By all mean, I got enrolled in the institution. After experiencing inside of the institution and its staff, I came back to share that staffs are very friendly and teachers are well informed. They work hard with the students at this difficulty time of Covid19.

Ms.Umagot and Ms.Umbriaco are super nice. Everyone overall is super nice in this school ! You just have to be prepared to study hard and really focus. You must have a structured and organized study habit in your life in order to succeed in nursing school in general. But it s worth it. Everyone is super nice to me here.

Update: I was able to pass my exit exam and I passed my nclex. Forget about everything and just do lots of Uworld questions and hurst review. But you need to actually do at least 250-400 questions daily and constantly go over your hurst review( LPN review). As long as you do all the questions and you go over your hurst material you will guaranteed become a nurse. No distractions, no excuses just get through . God first helped me , then doing Questions and hurst review, and Ms.Umbriaco s encouragement helped me to pass both tests.

Now for the entrance exam it s different, they give you study guide for both math and English so you will be able to pass quickly, it s very easy as long as you study your material they give you.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. So I paid $50 to take my entrance exam and I scheduled it on June 1st at 9am to be exact. It was an online proctored test due to covid. I waited until 9:40 the proctors never showed up I kid you not I tried to call my advisor almost every day for the next 3 weeks to reschedule and she NEVER got back to me. I emailed and called. I was in a rush bec classes started June 23rd so they decided to call me back June 29 to reschedule my test.. they got back to me a whole month later AFTER the semester started.. Definitely not recommending to my friends. They don t care about you or your future

Money that I was receiving back automatically went to the school because financial aid didn t cover everything but my thing is why the monthly payments then? I just did not like my experience here the rules changed every week with them then when you call them it on it they switch it up and reverse it and make seem like you re delusional. They didn t care about the lpn program they did us dirty! Set us up to fail multiple times. I understand nursing school is not easy but honey you have to know how to teach and explain and not just expect people who never did this nor have nursing experience to just be a genius you need communication you need to be a team but I would definitely keep looking dont go here.

I heard LPN program is ok, but so expensive comparing other nursing schools.
But, LPN-RN program is the worst!!!! Lecture instructors don't make exams, but instead school created for them ( it's ridiculous). Only A FEW instructors do care about students.
So many exams and discussions assignments. If you want a terrible nursing student life, go this place.
Don't waste your money! The school should listen their students' voice!!
