It's the last place to score some food and a drink at the bayside end of the boardwalk. There is a chance you'll hear some live music, but the place has a really lousy layout. It is as unwelcoming as the staff is unfriendly across the boards.

The beach and the boardwalk is nice, but be prepared for either a difficult time finding free parking or having to settle for paying to park. Free parking will result in a long walk, and rate-based parking varies based upon location and parking vendor.
Still shocked at the cost just to get onto the beach!! Nice boardwalk but Ocean City, Maryland blows it away and four a family of four saves you $40 just to put your feet in the sand!!
Paid $9 for 3 hours at the meter, placed the receipt on the dash, went to the beach (on a cold water day, so didn't get to enjoy it all that much) and returned to my vehicle 2 hours later. Couldn't believe it when I saw a ticket for "Improper Display of Paid Parking Receipt". The wind had blown the receipt upside down as I closed the door when I left the car. For FORTY EIGHT DOLLARS!!! so I called today, and was told if I wanted to fight it, I needed to show up in court. Sometimes they were upheld, sometimes thrown out, sometimes reduced, but she didn't know what the outcome would be. I can't understand how this is not a "Just prove you paid and we will drop the charge" sort of thing. NJ Municipal corruption on display for all to see here. I paid, and get to pay again, o joy! Plus $10 per person to get into the beach? Please. I won't be back, what a joke.
Not my favorite place to take the kids for rides and games anymore. Has become so overcrowded it will test you're patience from the moment you arrive. Parking is tough. You either pay the gouged prices of the private lots or you can drive in circles through the municipal lot waiting for a spot to open up. Boardwalk is so crowded the kids waited on line for 45 minutes for a two minute ride.
Has rides for both my younger kids (3&5) and my older boys (7&9). More for the younger crowd. Specials available on certain days. Parking is less expensive in the municipal lot across the street. Boardwalk is nice, clean and loads of carnival style games.
Jenkinson's has a lot of food, dessert, and snack options. On our visit the ride lines were very short to none at all. The ride operating staff was friendly and very good with the kids. Several of the bathrooms were very dirty up and down the boardwalk. Parking always seems to be an issue when visiting. Many of the parking meters did not work correctly, like Cancel button not working on the meter I tried to use during my visit. There is a lack of much needed shade near the rides. The arcades are a complete rip-off. Machines were not giving credit for card swipes but still subtracting them from my card.
Public parking in the area can be a bit tough to find. There are "private" lots that have a higher price, but a somewhat worth it to be at such a close proximity. The boardwalk itself has plenty to see/do/eat. A lot of the vendors only take cash (which seems to just fly out of ones wallet in this area). Of course there are ATMs on site to help replenish if needed. It definitely was not a bad experience, but overall ended up pretty costly. The $9/person rate to get on the beach at this location is more expensive than some of the neighboring beaches, although kids were free (11 & under, I believe).
The boardwalk is nice, pretty clean, and it has lots of stuff to do. Many games, and several arcade setups. There's an aquarium there as well. I rated three stars because the arcades have a huge amount of claws, but most of them are near impossible to win, unless you get extremely lucky. Also if someone loosens a toy from inside and almost gets it with the claw, an employee will open up the machine and stuff the toy back down into the machine so it is hard to get again. When we saw that, we kinda felt like we should just give up head home. Otherwise, it wasn't bad, but if you're looking to win a prize from the claws, head somewhere else.
Love it, this place is packed with a variety of rides, restaurants and games. The boardwalk is very nice and the beach is very nice to spend romantic time with that special someone. But is also a great place to entertain your little ones.
Nice family boardwalk with a variety of activities (aquarium, mini golf, games, arcades, fun house). The only downfall would be the price of all those things, a bit high in my opinion.
Great family fun on the boardwalk. Rides for all ages. Games and prizes. Snacks and treats at every turn. I have kids of all ages and every one of them left with a smile.
Will go again - Always a good time on the Jersey shore boardwalk. My visit this time was in the winter so majority of stores were closed. It was a pure relaxation trip / staycation.
The Jenkinson's boardwalk parking lot is free for the winter time. I know...who goes to a beach in winter .
Beautiful boardwalk, perfect for adults and children alike. There are lot of activities to do other than going to the beach. Yes, the beach entry is $10, but I guess that filters out a lot of crowd and keeps the beach clean . We went at a very busy time so parking was a bit of a struggle, and they were charging $20- 40 at private parking spots! Luckily we found a public spot a little further and parked there. I suggest get there early as there are plenty of public parking but gets filled quickly. We would love to check out aquarium too.
Best place to bring your family to for a wonderful day and prices are reasonable. The only other boardwalk that I would visit is in Sea Side, NJ A little more on the adult side, however still a fantastic time. The people that they employ are as nice and courteous as those at Jenkinson's in Point.
The Jenkinson's Boardwalk is by far one of my favorites, lots of arcades and decent boardwalk food. You can take a 20 min walk to the pier and enjoy a bar the is far away from the family area or you can just enjoy its beach views sitting in a bench.
We been going here since we were in diapers. Now some 30+ years later we habe seen the boardwalk go through many changes. Some good and some bad. There are things we miss from our youth like the water park and the gorilla. But it is also a place we continue regroup as a family at each year.
