As a mom of 2 little ones, I wish there were more bathrooms, but it's still a great place to bring the kids. For the times that I don't have the kids, I'm always pleased to see that Martell's Tiki Bar is still there
Amzing place to unwind for kids and adults! Rides, games, food, drinks, and live entertainment..
Always fun...could have better pizza for the price. But great funnel cakes and good rides
This boardwalk perfectly encapsulates everything great about New Jersey
Was a great experience for me, reminded me of when I was a kid and went into Maine to Old Orchard back in ita hayday
Awesome exeprience, close to the Beach and great facilities for the family and individuals alike.
Fun and educational..great place for kids they will love it..
Family time, end if year trip with tge little guy...
Prices are a bit high, they are ON the boardwalk. Food is okay. Nice place for a day out...
This arcade is not like what it used to be when I was growing up. There are more games of chance verses games to just play. Don t know why that changed but maybe I m just getting old.
It s a clean arcade and the staff is okay. Tracking someone down when a game takes your quarter is a little tricky.
Always great coming here with the kids to kill some time outside. Although many of the places at the boardwalk are closed, the arcades pizza spots, and the aquarium were open. Parking in the jenkinsons parking lot is free at this time.
Love coming here, more family oriented than other boardwalks and beaches in the area.
Clean with lots to do. Dry beach. 8 dollars on weekdays and 10 on weekends for admission during peak season
Great time for little kids and families. Great food too!
I've been coming to Jenkinson's for years. We brought my husband's family over to enjoy the boardwalk and for his young niece to experience a boardwalk for the first time. The actual boardwalk was great. Parking however was a nightmare. We had 2 cars parked in the meter parking lot (grateful we found spots). On the way out we waited for the cross walk light to allow pedestrians to cross. By the time we got to the second car we were exactly 2 minutes over our time and the meter maid was already done writing a ticket. DONE writing the ticket, not starting it. She said take it up with the court, there is nothing I can do now. My husband took a picture of the actual time, parking tickets. So my husband took a morning off to go to court. Tried to explain to the prosecutor who wouldn't give him a minute of his time. And he said if it was within the minute I could do something but nothing I can do. So my husband had to pay the ticket and miss a morning of work. Thanks a lot borough of point pleasant for ruining what would have been a fun night. It's not easy rushing through a crowded intersection with a child and older parents. Thank God we got to the second car in time. Should we have jaywalked?? Oh well. Sharing this to hopefully help out those who are parking there.
Great place for Families to have a fun day together
My family has gone here for the longest time and I've been coming to the boardwalk my entire life. There is really nothing better than a day at Jenk's. Our favorite is the arcade, the staff is incredible, games are so fun and modern but also nostalgic. We always recommend coming to Jenkinson's for family fun.
Great beach and activities, food was great and the services was superb
Going here was fantastic except one of the vendors stole our credit card information and sold it to another country in Europe......
Had a great time..lots of rides for for kids, food is good too..just a very nice boardwalk and beach!
I lived in Point Pleasant for a long time, and I never really enjoyed going to Jenkinson's. I don't think many of the locals do, actually. It's noisy and everything is super expensive, an atmosphere that trickles into the surrounding community as well. That being said, Jenkinson's *is* the economy of Point Pleasant, and families have been going there for generations. Who am I to argue?
Well, since moving a few towns away, I can safely say there is a LOT more to argue with than there used to be. The physical boardwalk itself is definitely over capacity. Where Jenkinson's used to be a somewhat calmer alternative to Seaside, it's now regularly packed from end to end like a New York subway car. All of the fair games at the arcades have finally, albeit it was inevitable, replaced with rigged fixed payout games, be it cranes or anything else. Oh, also, be ready to hear a lot of casual r4cism from the locals! The things I heard walking through the neighborhood last time I was there, yikes!
So many fun activities...great place for friends & family
Nice attractions. Nice beach. Nice boardwalk. Nice arcades. Nice kid rides
Classic Jesse Shore boardwalk with things to enjoy for all ages.
Good amusement area with kiddie rides for the young ones. A little less trashy than Seaside Heights boardwalk.
Great place. Location is free to use, but parking is expensive the closer to the boardwalk you get. The beach is easily accessible from the boardwalk and there are water spigots for washing sand away. Lots of carnival games and food stalls up and down the boardwalk. Great location for family and friends and your significant other.
Lovely boardwalk. Bracelets on Fridays for the rides. Much more Family friendly than post-"Jersey Shore" Seaside
Interesting place to visit and I learned alot about sea life. The staff there is super knowledgeable.
It is especially nice that they were giving FREE admission to federal employees because of the shutdown! Thank you so much!!!
went there for the first time this summer and loved it...the only thing i hate is to pay $10 for an entry to the beach that was ridiculous. Like the boardwalk fun, my kid liked it and mind u the parking is expensive as well.
For the size, this is a cool spot to take the kids while rides and games are still not 100% up and running.
Close to home. It was also affordable because it was wristband day.
Very clean place and a good amount of people at times but not to bad. Parking is good depending on where you park.
Great place for everyone. The beach is nice with nice sand and clean waters and the arcades were also fun.
Plenty of food choices but expect crowds and good luck finding parking during peak season. Rides and did are expensive comparatively but when you go on vacation that is expected.
My favorite boardwalk at the shore. Very clean and fun. No big rides for teens or adults but the tiki bar and palm trees make this a really fun place to enter the beach and have access to drinks and food all day long
Visited Jenkinson's Boardwalk and Point Pleasant Beach on 7/23. It has always been my familys go to boardwalk and beach for the last 20 years. My wife and I were dissapointed for the 1st time Tuesday. The boardwalk was great as usual, no complaints there. The beach restoration is remarkable, and the dunes are going to be great when there complete provided they enforce the stay off the dunes postings that are already being ignored. My big problem with my visit was the garbage on the beach including the broken glass. I guess they stopped inspecting the coolers when you enter the beach nowadays. I nevered minded paying the $9/$10 admission per person to get on the beach as this is the cost to keep the beach clean, pay for attendants to inspect coolers etc. I'll give it 1 more chance in August, but if it's the same thing, sadly I'll be looking for a different go to beach.
Fun experience there was a arcade food and games and the beach great place
great food great beach great for family and kids check the aquarium
Clean and not crowded all ppl wore masks and social distancing
Very nice Jersey shore beach and boardwalk. Clean and lots of variety. Aquarium was impressive, small but well maintained.
About Family and The Broadwalk, the water so much especially the Scenery .
Great place for children's rides. If possible go on a bracelet day & save a lot of money. It's a smaller boardwalk which is what I prefer
Love this place, very family oriented all though in the past few years it seems to be getting more over crowded every year, I was there Saturday at 1:30pm and there were crazy lines still to get in the beach even that late in the day. You want parking go early in the morning or take the train.
