The whole family goes to Jenk's every year on vacation. Best boardwalk in the state; very family oriented and you feel safe being there. Most if not all the "rif raf" that shows up at Seaside Heights is nowhere to be found here...
This is our favorite family boardwalk. So many things to do from rides, arcades, an awesome aquarium, a great beach and typical boardwalk food.
Fun place for the family. Get here early otherwise parking will be a total nightmare. Bring lots of cash, too; everything is expensive, eg. $8 ice cream cone.
I bring my family here ever summer. We don t really go to the beach. Mostly just hangout on the boardwalk. Plenty of things to do with the family.
Always have a great time at Point Pleasant. This year they have upgraded to having debit card machines at the beach entrances
Great boardwalk for the family, the arcades are a bit too rigged though, when I went to seaside, the claws actually picked up the toys and prizes and carried then a few inches before dropping them, and I won a Chromecast last week at seaside, here the claws don't even pick them up at all. But I'm giving 5 star to the boardwalk, 1 star to arcades.
It's always crowded. It's fine to stroll through on weekdays, but weekends or summer holidays? Fuggedaboutit. Its more for little kids; and they hit their demographic very well.
There is a lot to do here especially carnival games and rides. There is also plenty of junk food to be found. For me, it is the people watching.
If you are looking to just go to the beach, this probably is not the best place, but it is not bad. Beach access becomes free between 5:00 and 5:30 pm depending on where you decide to enter. Rates and ages charge also vary by entry point.
It is always a favorite of my grand-daughters. The kid rides keep them happy for quite a while. Good for a summer's evening by the sea. Bring an extra layer in case the wind is on-shore. The miniature golf at the South end is fun; see a separate review.
Not the most family-friendly place anymore since the overflow of tourists arrived.

Such a fun place with kids lots of activities to do. Eating playing in one place that s what you look for with kids to enjoy at the most.
It s a clean beach too
watch to say about Jenkinson's Boardwalk that hasn't been said already. A local institution with deep ties to the local community and the Jersey Shore. Everybody has memories of going to the boardwalk. I take my kids there mid-week during the summer to try to avoid the crowds. Best time to go. In particular in August, we like to go to the Jenkinson's Pavilion for dinner walk the boardwalk get some ice cream do the rides hit the games and just have one heck of a time out with the kids. Be sure to take lots of pictures and lots of videos because the kids just love watching themselves and they love here and everybody squeal and having such a good time. I hope you have as much fun as we have had. PS and yes it is a little pricey. But since you're only going a couple times during the summer it's definitely worth it. They sure institution and definitely a treat.
Everywhere we went, staff was friendly. Although we weren't there long, it was fun for the whole family.
First of all....I don't know why that 10$ entry charge. Even though they charge, the facilities are not better. Beach is not clean as well.
On top of it, the parking system is such a backward. I took a 4 hr parking permit and to extend the parking hours....I have to come all the way out of beach to extend it. I was late for 30 mins and they put a penalty of 48$. I already paid until 730 pm and it's free after 11 pm. They should have charged me 12$ for the remaining time in the day. Instead they charged me 48$ which is very upsetting. I don't know which stupidity made these laws....I wish he gets punished by God.
Instead of going to point pleasant....I should have gone to Asbury Park beach. Free entrance and also they have a splash park on boardwalk.
Never ever visit this beach again....... Waste of time and money..... Curseeeeeee
Some of the games are expensive and some of the rides are nauseating but other then that, all around great experience.
Nice Jerzy style boardwalk. Probably less then a mile long. Most things on the pricey side though
Food way too expensive and not good at all . I could do way better on my grill. Also I left the hood for a reason and the hood found me on Jenkinsons Boardwalk.. Aside from that the beach was clean and the water Super good. I'm also not a fan of expensive carnival rides..

Beach and boardwalk are nice. But new rules were hard to digest. Many people for various reasons go after 5:30 pm to beach. Some to avoid expensive beach entry, some to avoid harsh sun and some for an evening out. But with new beach entry rule, you can only take food/beverages purchased on Jenkinson board walk to the beach after 5:30 pm. You can not bring your cooler on the beach after 5:30 pm. I guess people are forced to buy food there. I like the boardwalk and the rides.
Amusement for everyone....don't leave your wallet at home, though, it can get quite pricey. $$$
Clean and easy to get to by train. Nice relaxing ride with no traffic. Once off train take an uber (or Lyft) to Boardwalk. You can walk but if your bringing "stuff" its easier to take a car.

Good clean family fun, nice beach, lots of food choices.
Great boardwalk and attractions. Great for families or to stroll the boards. Beach is subpar.. Very rocky sand and no sand bar (very hard to enjoy a swim). The staff are constantly driving around on ATVs and don't care about your personal space. All in all, a great fun place, but if your going just for the beach head elsewhere.
I love the arcade there. Nice place, make sure you are paying the parking because is 24 hours enforcement.
Great board walk experience for the family. Not too small, not too big, just right. Beaches are clean too .. :)

$40 for parking which is ridiculous $10 to get on the beach but we had a great time anyways!

Everything was well maintained and very pleasant time sitting right off the beach. Food a little pricy, over $50 for lunch with one alcohol drink. But it is a boardwalk so they have to make their money while the sun shines.
It was great for the kids, they enjoyed all the rides and games, very expensive for longer than a day or two though.

Great Boardwalk! If you have younger kids they will love the rides and kids of all ages will love the arcades. Lately they have raised their arcade prices and that's not good but I've been going here for years and I've had to many good experiences to not give this five stars.
