Water is extremely hard and the cost is nearly twice what Columbus water service costs. Worse water and a higher price - what a joke. To add insult to injury they require $130 deposit and won't give it back for a year. Wish I knew this before moving to an area of town with their water service.

Website doesn't work, no auto pay options, horrible water had to buy a water softener in my new house. Want something done? You have to visit the office because they're too incompetent over the phone. Just a heads up of what you're getting into

Worst company I've ever dealt with. The water quality supplied it terrible. Their $50 late fee is insane considering that is almost the cost of your whole bill (although when I have forgotten to pay it before they waived it once or twice). They have no real time account info available and their 3rd party payment system is stupid. I've had this company for 5 years and I just found out the other day I can do ACH withdraw so I don't forget to pay as this is the only bill I don't have set up through auto pay. Love how they never mentioned this as an option for me before.

We moved from Gahanna and the water quality is basically the same as Gahanna's. Yes, the water is hard but most municipalities have the same issue.

Yes, it's more expensive than most localities (~$70/minimum per month) but they are serving a Township area and not a heavily populated area so the price tag will be higher due to this.

We have paid our bill via check monthly (waiting on the website to be updated) which is coming to switch over to ACH but overall we don't have any issues as others have stated.

It's unfortunate that others have had issues but we are pleased with JWSD and the Service they provide.

Can't setup auto pay without u taking off work, occasionally send us threats to shutoff our water unless we have work done at our house, require multiple annual certifications and inspections I have to pay for which requires me to take off work about 3-5 times a year just to deal with them. I wouldn't have moved where I did if I'd known my water company would be a multi thousand dollar annual investment in addition to exorbitant and unexplained fluctuations in billing, and 25% of my vacation time.

Honestly - what they do is probably criminal, if it isn't it should be. I can't think of a single nice thing to say about them.

As if their water and sewer service wasn't expensive enough, I had to get a professionally installed water softener to save myself from buying replacement appliances every few years. They've recently been asking for everyone to pay for a plumber to come out and check for a back flow prevention valve in our houses. I've been using less water lately and my bill keeps getting higher. Freaking ridiculous. We're stuck with them and they're just going to keep running this monopoly racket. I wish there were a way to boycott them. -_-

Horrible! The water is extremely hard and quality OVER 500 PPM which is extremely high! You will need a water softener for sure.

They don't have auto pay so as soon as your bill is a single day late they will charge you $50 on a $75 bill.
That's not for a cut-off either that's just for it being late by a single day. Again, no auto-pay option!

They don't charge you for amount of water used but instead of minimum amount per month which is ridiculous. I could leave the water off for the entire month and still pay $75.

Their website is from 1994 and impossible to use for anything.

Had we known something so simple would be this bad we would have chosen a different area to live before moving here!

They are very expensive the minimum amount I pay for water is 69.91 and up even I don t use any water the whole month. I should have considered this before I bought a house in this district. I have friends near by and they pay for water based on how much water they use a lot cheaper amount.
