Rang J.E.F to fit an electric shower and check over consumer unit. Two chaps came both knew exactly what they where doing, didnt mind answering questions, very friendly. Stuck to his word did exactly what he quoted. Glad I now know someone who knows what they are doing when it comes to electrical work. Hope to use them again in the near future. John & Chris attended my home 07.09.2020 to fix my faulty alarm, the work was completed quickly, professionally and at an unbeatable price.

I called John out on a Sunday, after my main electrical box suffered an electrical fire. The mains had melted on the shower circuit and the shower had stopped working. The box was some 30 years old and used the old fuse wire in plugs. John came out on a Sunday to assess the damage and give me a quote. He made sure that everything was safe, checked and isolated the burnt out shower feed. He then made a date when he would be available to replace the whole main box, and give us a quote, which we thought was very reasonable. On the day of installation, he was prompt and on time, he worked vey hard, the installation of the new box was neat and tidy, he brought up to date the earths and made sure that the house supply was now up to date with current regulations. He has issued an electrical installation certificate, and has advised us to have the box checked and serviced in 2 years time. Very happy with the new box, happy that we are up to date with new regulations, and I would employ John again if I need further electrical installations. Thank you John for a professional job. So as a fellow tradesman, I've been using John's services for just over a year now, that in itself says a lot, if he wasn't up to the standard I like to offer, then it wouldn't have lasted as long. His work ethic and knowledge are second to none, his effort to accommodate every task that I've given him, even at incredibly short notice, again has been outstanding. I can only go on the experience I have had with John and as such (other than a few getting to understand my expectations, in the early days, issues) he's definitely part of the "There's No Place Like Home Improvements" team

John did a very professional job putting an outdoor double waterproof socket in my garden for a small pond i have, very pleased with the result.

John has carried out numerous jobs for us on our home from adding extra aerial points, to hanging a tv and adding extra sockets. Lovely land with fair prices. Wouldn't use anyone else now. Thanks John

Our fuses went. Having tried (what we thought was everything), we found JEF Electrical from recommendations. Our enquiry was immediately answered and then the electrician talked us through how to solve it.
We had spent half an hour trying and he told us in thirty seconds. I'm sure there are others who may have come out and charged a call out fee, but JEF saved us money and time. We will definitely be using again and highly recommend. Thanks.
