We went on a Monday for happy hour and dinner. Service was pretty slow. We were a party of four. It may have taken 30 minutes for our food to finally arrive at table, it was not hot.. not cold but warm. Food was decent and alcoholic beverages were good. Not sure I'll return because of the slow service.

Amazing food. Amazing service. Some unique items, and some classics that get hit out of the park like the homemade tator tots with Shiner Bock Beer Cheese, and the nice and thick chipotle hummus!

Yum yum yum. Burgers and fries were delicious. Service was awesome. Lights are a little bright, wish they were dimmer so place would feel more restaurant and less office, but otherwise totally love Jed's.

That will break the cycle of former restaurants that DID NOT Make it on the famous Jefferson street corner. Food variety, wait staff, and the vibe are on point!!!!
Peoples come to JEDS.

Staff here is excellent, always attentive, very polite and professional, definitely felt at home. I ordered one of the many burgers at Jed s and could not be more happy with the quality of food and presentation. Had a couple of cocktails that worked their magic. Jon and his crew took great care of my family while we were there and would not hesitate to come back again.

Went around 1pm and it was very empty but yet the service was crazy slow. The food was not that good either. One thing I would suggest is to do a better job cleaning the floors and bathroom. It has a stale water smell throughout the building. Kinda ruined my appetite.

When we first moved to OC I was desperately trying to find a small, local bar that had good food and happy hour. I stumbled upon Jed's and am so glad I did! Their food is fantastic. We have since brought dozens of friends who agree. They have happy hour M-F until 9pm for drinks and 7pm for food. Mondays they have $3 Marg/martinis, Tues kids eat free, Weds they have $3.50 wine and $12 wine bottles, Thurs is $2 off burgers, Saturday is happy hour drinks all day and $4 frose, and the BEST is Sunday with 99 cent mimosas all day! I highly recommend going and supporting this local spot!

Amazing breakfast & great service. I would have given more stars, but I was severely inconvenienced due to the wrong open times posted on their website, which showed them open early for breakfast on weekdays (which is apparently not the case).

This place is fantastic! You get a welcome home kind of feeling even if you have never been here. The food is incredibly tasty and really reasonably priced for North oak Cliff.

If you are looking for something a little different that your normal places, you have to check this place out. I'm so happy it's part of our neighborhood.

I usto love this place. Went at least once a week. My friend went in and got a table for 9. 3 of us got there later and they told us they could not serve us, we needed to get up, couldn t join our party. The situation was out of hand. Everyone in restaurant could hear what was going on we felt humiliated. The hostess sat us down than owner came and got us up told us we could not sit down. Worse expiration at a restaurant ever.

Slow service in a non peak time. Never received the sandwich the way it was ordered. Instead, received a lecture from a kitchen staff person on bacon shrinkage. Expect poor service, under cooked meats, and frustration.

I googled salmon salad near me and Jed's popped up as the closest. Went there and got the salmon salad which, by the way, the salmon was wonderfully seasoned. I decided to try the fried bread and butter pickle chips as I have never had fried pickles before. They are DELICIOUS! Jed's is a nice eatery that has great salmon salad and fried pickles. The staff is very attentive and the prices are very reasonable as well. I'll call it "a must eat at."

Two co-workers and I went a couple of months ago to try this out. The server was great, the cook/chef was friendly. We ordered, but at some point one of the women in my party saw a mouse sashaying across the floor. I didn t mind, they live everywhere, but the ladies I was with told the staff. The chef/cook came out and massacred the poor little guy, in a frenzy, as if it were on fire. He apologized and offered to comp our meal, but we didn t stay. My coworkers left naively believing pests typically respect restaurants wishes for them to stay away. I would have stayed, but the barbarity of how the situation was handled put me off, and so I can t go back.

The last time I was there the service was pitiful. The food is okay. But I was extremely disappointed with the service. My tea sat waiting for my server to bring it that the ice melted.

My wife literally drug me out of the house, during rush hour traffic, to drive all the way across Dallas to this new restaurant that she went to. Totally worth it. Jed's Grill is a corner bar and grill. A laid back atmosphere, that is great for the whole family. The food was Amazing. The staff were very friendly, and attentive. They are located at the corner of Polk St, and Jefferson Ave., not far from the Bishop Arts District, and I-30. Best food I have had in a while. Everything is made from scratch, and it shows. Telling all my friends about it, and I bet you will too...

It was our first time for dinner here. A slow night. Greeted and sat quickly. We waited a while on our drinks. The server was kind and paid great attention to my request of avoiding pepper. The food took way too long to be served (especially with us being the ONLY table in the restaurant) and we were disappointed that was never acknowledged. No appetizer offered in the meantime or apologies as to the cooks taking so long. The grilled fish tacos were tasty. Cost $15. The broccoli was served plain, very lightly cooked and very crunchy (not my fave but some may like that?). The smothered chicken dish also tasted good but was a surprisingly tiny chicken breast for a dinner entree for which we'd never order it again. Cost $12.50. The meal overall tasted good. When ordering the chicken entree we verbally requested to add the $1 side salad (as the menu advertised) and once we got our bill it was a $3 upcharge. The server brought the owner to us to respond when we inquired about it. He proceeded to try and explain how we were wrong and how the menu justifies the higher charge. No apology, no offer to make it right when we were mislead. We've both worked many years in the service industry and that was a shocking disappointment from an OWNER. He grabbed our bill and my cash and just said "I'll take care of this for you" and never returned. 5 or so mins later our server returned with the change. The bill still the same. This is our neighborhood and we were looking forward to the idea of frequenting Jed's but this experience made us feel like this place is owned by someone who doesn't much care about their customers. I had a friend in the area say they've been disappointed multiple times here too but thought with the reviews I'd give it a chance. Now I'm thinking not enough of the unsatisfied visitors have left their reviews so I feel responsible to leave mine. Hopefully it'll get better.

This place is PURE TRASH! not to mention the "chef" was a rude human . What he did to my sisters food was disgusting and Gave me the reason That my family and I WILL NEVER RETURN! This place was full of nats, flies, and everything else. If I had a choice to give it no star I would! To be fair about it I think the Health inspectors should be called in and this place CLOSED DOWN! I wouldn't recommend this place to the dirtiest Rat in New York! If it was a free food day , I wouldn't even go ! Yuck!

Had Breakfast at Jed's. We were greeted enthusiastically at the door which was great. Some of the booths needed to be wiped down but the restaurant appeared to be clean aside from that. They had music on which ranged from The Smiths, Josh More

If you remember the vibe from Oak Cliff in the early 00's at The Quinn and Barbara's Pavilion, you will find a familiar love for Jed's Grill. Looking at the crowd you discover a true Public House where the mood is welcoming and relaxed - whether the place is packed for Thursday trivia night or a quiet Tuesday lunch. Drinks flow easy and the food is delicious. For what you would spend for two in Bishop Arts, you can spend for seven at Jed's where everyone gets their fill of dish and drinks.

Great service and the food was delicious!!! Wanted to try something new and was not disappointed. Had the poblano pepper hummus and silly chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries! Highly recommend. We dropped our key behind the booth...would so only happens to us..but our waiter Steven was kind enough to help us!
