We broke down while transiting the ICW. They hauled us out with little notice, gave us a nice spot on the hard, had electricity nearby and were super super friendly. i cant believe how inexpensive it was for all they did for us. Good fuel prices and reasonable transient rates too!!
I've used this boat yard several times to haul out. They are one of the few places which can haul a wide sailing catamaran. Their 200 ton lift is wide enough (I believe it's 30 feet) for all but the largest cats. Services are available for almost any haul-out job you need and their staff is very service oriented.

Highly competent and responsive technical services at reasonable prices. Western Branch Diesel at Jarrett Bay has worked on our boat twice now; most recently following a collision with a submerged object in a river up by Columbia, NC. I do not recommend taking your boat here for repair work
The dock hand was very nice and helpful but he could've used some help as he was running all over the place and we felt a little bad for him.
The facilities are decent and wifi is good.
The problem was the yard manager we dealt with was an arrogant jerk and we will avoid this marina in the future. We did not feel welcome by him probably because I argued that they had a cheaper price advertised online than they wanted to give to me. I felt they needed to keep their word, and they did, but not until treating us poorly.

Made a delivery to Jarrett Bay Boatworks & I love boats boats, especially big ones.. So, I was like a kid looking around.. they had some really fine looking vessels there
Paint jobs are outstanding. Best paint jobs I have ever seen. These jobs make any boat look like brand new. I recomed that you have your boats painted only by Jarrett bay.
How ever the management will great WILL TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT HEAR, how ever you will get the same Boat design they had for the last twenty years. Having worked there and being fired for getting hurt on illegal project I have first hand experience with this company. Starting out one thing your money is spent standing around all day doing nothing you will pay top dollar for a boat that will not be done on time. The vp Will tell you what you want but as seen for three years he is a liar and a con man. I want people to know that this company sells shirts for $75.00 and after washing them several times they fall apart. I know this because I bought my uniform and it lasted about a month. Funny such I large company does not supply it's foreman with clothing. Also for your safety they have a great track record. In one year a boat blow and I guy hot burned. Three people fell and one lost half his skull. Instead of safety the safety manger spends more time tell maintenance department to do illegal work. All this is documented and pictures. So go ahead get a boat built by
A company that pays a worker $10.00 to build your million dollar boat. Personally I would want a experienced worker building my boat! So for all you boaters listen to a first hand experience your money will be waisted and you so get a over priced, out dated boat, that will not be on time.
I feel I was way over charged for simple repairs. When I say "way" I mean in some cases 10X what I could find elsewhere. I was told that all the locals stay clear of this place but I'm not sure if that is true. If you really want to use these guys use extreme caution and get a written estimate.

Needed to service a pair of Suzuki 250 Outboards. Called Cory and arranged a haul out. Drove the boat to his shop in the slings. We had everything I needed done in a few hours. This place runs a professional operation with fair pricing. Highly recommend.
Hands down one of the very best sport-fishing boat builders in the world. I can only imagine their center consoles are equally as good. We've never been more impressed with a sportfish, and having removed (nearly) all the shortcomings found in nearly all the other sportfish builders. Superior!
Stay clear of these guys if you want things done correctly at a reasonable price.
