Never going back to this doctor. Had a bad experience! After my father died, this doctor lack compassion. Told me I get over the grieving in 6mos. He put on anxiety medicine, for a long time, suddenly he cut me off. All he did make me suppression my emotions more. Now I am looking for a good doctor and a good therapist!

Fake Dr. Nursing home Dr. Never came to see me even when requested. Did everything by phone. Did blood work on me and failed to notify me, as did the FACILITY I am in of findings. Found out 3 years later by reviewing my own chart. Thank God no liver damage!! Now on 12 week medicine therapy to correct issue! Fired him and went with the Dr. this nursing home uses for their employees family members when here. I'm starting to see a pattern here with the 3 Asian Dr's. that have been in charge of my care. Associated with PIH and Whittier Hospital. Please do your homework when shopping for, or under care of Doctors. God bless, and good health to all. Even the degenerate Dr's.

Dr. James Song is a good doctor. He is a caring doctor! He talks to you like your own family! He cares for the patients. He will listen to you if you open up with him. Bottom line is... he is a really good family doctor. I would definatly recommand this hospital. Edgar the nurse is an awesome guy! Everyone works at this hospital is really cool and they got your back!
Dr. Song cares for my whole family for years, and I'm recommending him to more friends. Him being extra patient and careful with my concerned/panicking older family members is a HUGE plus!!!
The doctor is good, but too much in rush...but is still good.
The office is another story. 4 out of 5 times I have to call them to get the right medication to the pharmacy. Eventually, it gets there. If paperwork is needed by patient, they tell you 'one week'. NEVER is it one week! Gets old quick going to the doctor and having to follow up on them to make sure what you need is actually done.
Very good standardized care! Truly cares about his patients and their problems.
Not very detailed/informative, ordered Ct scan but did not give blood work paperwork, wasted three weeks to receive insurance authorization letter approval for the CT, then informed by the CT medical office that Dr Song supposed to ordered blood work prior making appointment for the CT scan. Had to drive back to Dr Song office to get blood work order, then go do blood work and then can schedule the CT Scan
What s good yo have an assigned doctor when they re NOT available to see you after feeling very ill the night before and manage to get to their office first thing in the morning and they tell you that it s by appointment only.
Called different times throughout the day waiting on hold for at least 10 to 40 minutes each time I called and still have gotten no answer. There is no way to leave a message, and you have to hang up yourself because there's no menu options. Unprofessional reception staff both in person and over the phone. Dr. Song is quick and to the point, so the visit is very short for the amount of time you wait to see him.
Administration has been horrible. No follow up or organization. Complained about it to the Doctor n he didn't care. I filed a grievance n switched doctors. Worst part is I was referred here. Even letting them the Dr. know I was a referral made no difference. THIS PLACE DOESN'T CARE. NIGHTMARE !
Waited for 2 hours for my mothers appointment just to be disrespected by the doctor who not only talked to us for 3mins but who tried to THREATEN to cut her off her meds completely and to prescribe her something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from what she was taking... doesn't even deserve star. We came in for a follow up and instead got verbally abused. Very unhappy with this visit. Going to have my mother and grandmother switch doctors.

The front desk could have been a little more organized, but as far as the back office was very professional fast and very polite! Dr. Song himself is very respectful, efficient, thorough and nice! I would definitely continue to see him and would definitely recommend him to friend's and family!
Don't go to this place, neither working staff nor doctor care about their patience. Bad customer service, extremely short office visit time (less than 2 minutes) but long waiting. Ignorance of patience's referral even urgent referrals. They don't answer the phone or put you on more than 30 minutes hold time till you hung up yourself. Never been to any doctor's office so irresponsible like this one. Front desk lady Elanda is very rude.
"Receptionist" or should I call more appropriately Greeting Rodeo Clown, who I will aka as TIFFANY was very rude with immense lack of professionalism who I sincerely think that ruins the image of such respected Doctor as Dr. Song is. Her first impression does not represent the excellent and professional manners that the rest of the staff gave. Edgar very polite and prompt. Ivette with such bubbly attude, and Tere with her patience and eagerness to help Patients in their needs. And although I don't recall by heart the names of the physicians who attended us and the foot specialist, they are amazing. Unfortunate for me to have had to deal with that unpleasant individual. Only helps who she wants and when she wants, and has no respect for her coworkers.

I was in the emergency room after being sick for a almost a week and they denied me a follow up appointment saying they were booked and only offered an appointment 2 days after what the emergency room doctors recommended.
