Great atmosphere, great staff, great beer, fun events!

I just tried their Black Currant beer and I'm in LOVE! I also purchased their Ephemeral X, which is an amazing DIPA. You'd have to visit their website for a full description of their beers.

As far as their food, I've had their chicken tacos and oyester po'boy which were both surprisingly VERY GOOD.

I love this place and I highly recommend it.

Went back now that they have the kitchen open. The staff was super friendly but the food and beer was just ok this time. None of the experimental brews were very good. Burgers were good, but nothing above other places offering burgers in a better atmosphere at the same price point. I'd rather visit one of the other local breweries instead.

Cool place to meet up with friends. Large variety of tastey beverages for pretty much any palette. Cheap beer fights so you can find your favorite. "Chech the Tradition" was my fav. Flatbreads were good (mushroom and leek and three cheese) and offered a good veggie option. Bartenders and staff were friendly and the bathrooms were clean. If your looking for a good local brew pub you wont be disappointed here. Large tables are great for an office happy hour. Bottoms up!

We went at 7:35pm on a Sunday knowing they close at 8pm. Obviously we just stopped in for 1 beer. The bartender said they already called last call and offered to sell us beer to go. To me, last call is 10-15 minutes before closing. Shame on Jailbreak for their lazy bartenders that just want to get off work earlier. I gave 2 stars rather than the 1 I should give because I do like the beer and it is a cool spot.

Great local brewery with a great selection of their beers. Which by the way are fantastic! Do yourself a favor and try the White Russian, delicious! Nice comfortable place to enjoy a brew with family and friends!

This was a great physical space to relax and hang out but sadly didn't like any of the beers I tried. I got a flight of the top 4 which were all unique but was very underwhelmed with each.

Nice atmosphere and good food. There are a variety of tables and couches and standing areas. The fries were delicious. The garlic topping is raw and very garlicky. Their chip system is confusing if you are ordering bot food and beer. The parking area can get crowded.

Decent well-priced beers in a cavernous beer hall. Friendly and knowledgeable staff were willing to offer selections if asked. Even when busy someone quickly took my order.

No food on site and there are generally food trucks there (you can also bring in your own food too).

A bit further out than i normally am, but if i was in North Laurel or Columbia for something id recommend stopping in

Awesome beers on tap in a great environment: Large screens, large tables, and an area with couches. There's also good food options at various price points. A hidden gem for sure!

Great place to hang out with colleagues after work. The wings and pizza are spot on! Plenty of big screen televisions, entertainment and clean bathrooms. The Dyson faucet with the dryer is awesome and sanitary as the dryer dries your hands into the sink! Whaaa!?!?! Kudos to the owner and staff!

Awesome taproom. Plenty of space at the bar and at tables. Sit in a comfy sofa and watch a game on the big screen. Pet friendly too.

A nice cross section of craft beers for all tastes - no matter what your preference you will find something that you enjoy. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was nice (much more subdued than most traditional bars). My one recommendation, with no food service I'd suggest offering free all you can eat popcorn and I would have had more beer (a win for everyone :).

Update: my third visit to Jail Break. On-site food service is now available and includes salads, sandwiches, tacos, and other traditional bar foods. Try the Cafe in Brussels it's very reminiscent of the seasonal White Russian (my favorite).

Food ok, beer is drinkable but has lots of room for improvement. Seemed a bit flat, couldn t keep a head, not served in proper glass (example: lagers and Hefeweizen both served in the same style goblet, etc)

We had our wedding here and it was a ton of fun! Gina helped us plan every detail leading up to the event and everything went off without a hitch. I'd recommend them for a private event any day. Who doesn't like beer?

Used to come here all the time but it's not as good as I remembered sadly.... The beer menu doesn't give the hops so I had to ask about every beer and the waitress didn't know and had to keep go back to find out. The menu also only shows full pours when they actually have four and eight ounce pours. Lastly, they won't give you water.... It's a brewpub. You should have water for your patrons without having to pay for bottled water

Beer is outstanding, their new food menu is really good I had the tuna tacos. Flavors were a delight tuna was nice and fresh, my only complaint is that I didnt have more of it Haha! Absolutely recommend going here, if you want a light beer try go with feed the monkey or the cranberry sour they have on tap right now if you like sours!

Great place with great, great beers and ales. I recommend Chairy at the time of writing, and Dew Right when it's next available. Their porters and stouts are also truly tasty! Food trucks are normally outside in the parking lot if you want to eat something, too.

Came here just to try the brewery and see what it was. Was completely blown away, environment was top notch! Food was exceptional and beer was absolutely out of this world!

Anyway, with that out of the way, a fun place to hang out with friends over a beer. Very kid friendly with arcade machines, tabletop shuffleboard, and TVs showing live sports. Also, the food was excellent. They serve flatbreads, a bunch of appetizers (including mac and cheese, old bay popcorn, soft pretzels, and more), and tacos of various types. Overall, a fun place to hang with good food that you can bring your kids to.

I love many of Jailbreak s beers and the taproom is an awesome place to just go and hang out. The bartending staff is awesome and the food is up to par with many restaurants. Check it out if you re ever in the Laurel area!

This place is great! Obviously the beer selection is excellent, but the new addition of the restaurant is awesome! Had the chorizo tacos, street corn, garlic fries and the brownie. All delicious. When you open a tab, they can reference it either at the bar or the food counter. When you order food, you get a buzzer that let's you know when it's ready, which is great if you're hanging out with friends by the bar side. I love that there aren't a million TV's, only 2. And the high tables are made from reclaimed bowling lanes!

Love everything about this place!

Very good food and beer! I enjoyed my brat and the three cheese flat bread was to die for. The vibe is chill.. my daughter and I had fun playing shuffleboard after eating. Minor things would have taken it from a 4-star to a 5-star experience. The chips were over seasoned, and it's not clear how to order food when you walk in. (There's no hostess or anything, so you have to ask at the bar.) Will definitely be back!

Would give it 5 stars except for the bar staff laughing at my wife when she told them of her pepper allergy when they failed to tell us the rotating cask was a Jalapeno IPA. But hey, we're not folks that would sue... or are we?

Otherwise:

Cafe in Brussels is one of the most unique brews we've ever had (coffee saison). Defintely come back if only for that.

Big Punisher is a traditional double IPA w/ a super creamy finish. I like it!

P-Funk and Funk Sway are super citrusy for being sours, but sans the actual sour. Could drink either of these all afternoon on a hot, sunny day.

Chairy cherry cream ale wasn't good.

Saison en Tonneau is unique: saison in a red wine barrel... can smell the red wine, but not taste it. Interesting taste... will drink it again.

Oktoberfest... meh. A bit thin. After having the real thing for several years in Bavaria, we're picky. Sierra Nevada's O'fest is far better.

Nice atmosphere with a great selection of beers and the new food selection is quite good.

When there recently with a friend. Very cool set-up and very good beer. The food was also amazing. Wish I could order food at the bar but their system is top notch (order food in the other side of the building) and the food is FRESH. Literally have no complaints.

My all time favorite watering hole, the best ales ever, they will have something that you will enjoy. I've been coming here since they opened and tried many of their experimental ales which some became regular menu ales.

I went around when they first opened and was hardly impressed. Some of their beers were outright bad while their best ones were drinkable, but not much more. I tried two flights of beer and could not finish half of them as I considered them undrinkable and disgusting. Prior to this experience I had never had a problem finishing a beer because of flavor, despite trying hundreds (if not over 1,000) of different beers.

There was a food truck in the parking lot serving decent food but that's pretty standard fare for a brewery these days.

Since I've only been once I can't discount the possibility that they're improved their processes and the beer is subsequently better. But I'm not exactly clamoring to go back.

I'm a long time Jailbreak fan so when I saw the tent out front, I knew I had to make a visit! There were multiple handwashing stations, strict rules about social distancing without fweling unfriendly. Everyone looked really happy to be there, as I was. Full food menu with a bunch of new drafts. I'm so happy to be there again.

Good beer, great atmosphere, not too loud so you could actually have a conversation.

One of the best brewers in MD. Great selection, beers are creative along with traditional beers. Add another favorite: punished IPA! Recently tasted at Soul in Annapolis. Two great choices Soul and Jailbreak!

Great place! Awsome drinks! I personally liked the Infinte better to start. If you are a coffee lover, and even if you aren't (like me) the White Russian was awsome. We also tried the Lemon Funk, great taste, not too sour! They were all just perfect. With regard to food...we had the crab dip which comes with seasoned potatoe chips, it was amazing! My fiancee tried the Local burger and complement it. The one thing I wished they had was some board games. They did have shuffle board and golden tee. Overall great ambience with good music and friendly customer service.

Have been a few times. The tasting room is large and well furnished with tables, couches, bar seating. Even a few TVs and jukebox. Can get crowded during primetime, and the only food comes from food trucks, but Jaikbreak's website has the schedule Good rotating beer selection, and growlers filled.

Never had anything there but the best service and the beer is awesome! I have drank at hundreds of breweries. This is easily one of, if not the best in terms of experience and beer.

Awesome brewery located at the border of Laurel/ Elridge. My friends and I embarked on a 1 hour $10 tour of the brewery. Tour comes with 1 drink from a select menu, samples of sours and a souvenir cup. We ordered some wings, duck fat fries and pretzels to munch on after. The cheese curds in the fries with the combination of duck fat was amazing. We then spent another 2 hours sampling other beers and playing shuffle board.

This is a fun place to bring your friends and family. They have comfy couches and long tables to fit all party sizes. The tour was great value and we'll definitely be back to sample other beers.

Always have a great time. The food, service and beer is very good! Atmosphere works great for so many situations.

Frickin' awesome facility. Very family friendly. Clean space with ample room. Loved the art piece of The Dude, Donny & Walter hanging up in brewery. Make sure you order the Special Lady Friend IPA.

Beers/area itself was nice, however during my time there I had noticed there was a sign saying "keep children at arm's length." Found it to be true the staff will give you a hard time for letting your children roam around slightly free from you will result in staff badgering you. Seems that they could be more lax with this rule as who is the company itself to question child rearing techniques?

TLDR: Parents beware.

I don't drink but the beer definitely smells good and interesting. Every time I'm there the food trucks are good. Hacker trivia nighs are very crowded.

The tasting room is great. They invested money into a nice front of house. The food they offer is quality - better than standard pub fare. They had about a dozen beers on tap. Refreshingly, they offer more than IPAs.

When you go to visit, pay attention to the signs. It's in an industrial park but you'll be able to find it if you keep your eyes out.

Beer was fantastic, excellent choices. Had the Brussel Sprouts and they were delicious. Great atmosphere. Must visit.

Stopped in back on 7/22 while on vacation. Was very slow not a lot of people. The food was horrible to say the least. The burger I got was a joke, the roast beef sandwich my wife got was a little better but not much. I feel bad when it came to the beer it wasn t unique at all. We paid the tab and got out of there. O ya we asked for ice waters as well we were given bottle water and was charged for them. The server also came by twice some one else had to tell her that we wanted to leave and cash out. $40 you can spend elsewhere.

Been here pre- and post-kitchen opening. I really think they ve stepped it up and the atmosphere is great! Wasn t a huge fan of the beer my first time but lately I ve been really impressed! Definitely worth a visit

Probably one of the greatest places in Laurel. Go have a beer.

Amazing experience. Enjoyed the new restaurant and new beers on tap.

They handle a crowd very well. It was jam packed with a line 3/4 to the door for beer. My wife and I got two each so we wouldn't have to wait. Great service, they worked the line down quickly.

There is no good reason why they should charge 7.50 a beer.

One of my all time favorite breweries. They always have around 16 beers on tap, are constantly changing their menu whilst keeping the favorites, and they have amazing service. I m a true regular and stop in around once a week. They keep me coming back!

Hacker Trivia Night is always great. Now that they have good next door, is even better.

Great atmosphere and excellent brews. The most wonderful aspect was the knowledgeable and passionate staff. Our bartender, Allie, was a fun and professional expert on not only beer but almost any subject we ventured to discuss.

Excellent selection of beers, some seasonally rotated. Attentive staff to clear glasses and dishes.
Limited food options, but they are all tasty (and have vegetarian options).
Great atmosphere, including a large projector screen. Not to mention the rug really ties the room together.

I can only comment on the atmosphere, location, and ambiance of this establishment as I do not care for craft beer nor am I ashamed of it - though I receive quite a bit of grief for it. This brewery is established and has beer brewed on the premises. I don't particularly care for it but it seems that the patrons enjoy it so that's what matters, right? But let's be real, not everyone likes the beers offered.

The ambiance is sort of nice. There's a section of couches and coffee tables to the left as well as a bar area centered toward the back and some high tables with tall chars just to the right when you walk in. The bathrooms tended to be well-kept and clean (at least the men's). They've had a food truck every time I've been there. I've only been here because my company had a recruitment and office Happy Hour here. I wasn't very
"happy" though because I don't care for the beer. None of it. The only thing I'd want to drink there is water.

The location is fairly easy to get to and there is usually ample parking. I'd definitely recommend this spot for folks whom want to try out new beers but if you're looking for domestics or non-craft beers, head to a different bar. In fact, you can just follow me there! :) Cheers!

Been going to Jailbreak Brewing Company for 3 years now. They hold a teacher discount on Fridays all you need is your badge. They use to just have beer which is amazing! Recently added food last year. Very yummy! I enjoy going there, recommend them to all my friends and even buy 6 packs to take home and enjoy later. 100% recommend.

I accidentally sat down at a reserved table, and Jennifer, my lovely hostess, was so nice, that getting turfed out was actually a true pleasure! The entire staff was friendly and attentive, but not overly so. They have started serving food now, and it is good and reasonably priced. I had the deviled eggs, soft pretzels and, of course, beers. :-)

Awesome brewery and has a full kitchen. A must stop if ever in Laurel, MD. Very friendly staff. I go to a lot of breweries and this is definitely top 5.
