My favorite dim sum in Seattle. Get there early and be ready to wait. It's loud and crazy but delicious.
My favorite dim sum in Seattle. Get there early and be ready to wait. It's loud and crazy but delicious.
Food was mediocre. Service was mediocre. The wait was annoying and the restaurant is pretty unclean overall.
I've been here twice for dim sum. Both times the dim sum was top notch! The pieces are large and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this place for small parties or larger groups.
Cheap family style Chinese that's open late! Service isn't great, but the food was really good. Rice wasn't very good, I highly recommend their general Taos
If you're looking for traditional, Americanized Chinese food, Jade Garden is good. Not too expensive, good food, and good service. One of two places I'd recommend for the kind of Chinese food Americans are comfortable with.
Love that place, buzzing with lots of people, wonderful food, atmosphere, Xmas day tradition
For dim sum it s not bad. Service was super rude and slow. I felt like we weren t welcome.
First time to Seattle from the south. It was recommended by my cousin to try the food at this restaurant. The first server was rude. I requested to my cousin to walk out and go to another restaurant but he decided to stay.
Food were not good compare to other big cities.
This is a great place to go to, especially with a large group of people! The food is great and the service is nice. Certain times can be a lot busier than others but if you plan ahead or don't mind being patient then it's totally worth it. If you're going to spend a day in the international district then you should definitely make a point of coming here!
Offering authentic Cantonese style morning tea, it is known as the most authentic Cantonese style morning tea in Seattle.
Great dim sum. Very good at accommodating large groups. Slow to get seated but food comes quick and consistently
Best Chinese food I've had in a very long time. Everything is fresh, portions are huge and service is pleasant. Get the green beans when you're there, you will not regret it.
Great service! They accommodated our large party and fed us copious amonts of delicious dim sum.
Do not come here and eat!!! I had the most horrible and outrageous time here. It s all crowded and noisy. We had to wait for over half an hour for the food to come out, and the waiter forgot two of our orders. That is another half an hour wait! This place is definitely understaffed with the rudest waiters who are always rushed and literally snapped the menu in front of one of my friend s face when he took them back. Today is our friends graduation day and we thought we could have an enjoyable night but seriously the service of this restaurant ruined our night. The waters also ignore us completely when we ask their service. We miss two items in our orders and wait for like a whole hour for them. The special beef they cook is just all flour with little amount of beef which it s so frustrating. Never wanna comeback again. In the end, we have to wait for another thirty minutes to pay also.
A huge disappointment!!!!!
Nothing fancy but the food is good. Always ready to serve and hot as well. Definitely worth visiting to enjoy the food.
The yuba, chicken feet and shrimp dumplings are very special and worth a try.
I went with a friend and it wasn't that busy but it took the waiter about 10 minutes to notice we were standing there. We got seated and we were sitting there for another 15 minutes before he came over for our order even though we had flagged him down twice. I can say the walnut shrimp is the best thing I've had in a while so I am giving it 3 stars based on the shrimp. We ordered chicken chow mein and our noodles were supposed to be the Hong Kong style but they were very soggy and gross we basically left that plate on the table. The manager.. I believe she is an older woman was the nicest person there she made the experience nice at the end.
As a Cantonese, it is really not good. The snacks are very rough. But win at a cheap price
Decent dim sum for decent price. Each dish is $5.50 and you can get dim sum late at night. The good comes out quick and is pretty good. The ribs were the best dish of the lot. The sui Mai was not the best but still had decent flavor. Would go there again for late night dimsum.
One of the best places for Dim Sum in Seattle! But, go early or you'll be waiting in line!
They seemed unhappy we were there and like we were bothering them. The food was not very flavorful, though it did come quickly. There are almost no vegetarian options except just veggies (the tofu option has meat in it). Not a lot of dim sum options and order of menu not cart.
Delicious food, fast service, and unbelievably cheap. I ate a big meal here with 3 friends and our bill was very less. We thought there had been a mistake, but plates are only a few dollars each! Super long wait but absolutely worth it.
Excellent service- food & prices!! They took their time and explained our inquiries
This food is absolutely amazing. Be warned as it is extremely easy to overeat. Luckily the prices are fair and service is super quick with the carts. A great place for comfort food or to try something new. My new favorite restaurant in Seattle.
Wow, that's all I can say when it comes to the dimsum at Jade Garden. The line is the first indicator that you're in for a real treat. Since it's dimsum, I knew we would be sat in a reasonable amount of time. 10 minutes later and we were sat down ready for the bombardment of dimsum! My husband and I love trying 1-2 new items each time that we haven't tried. This time we tried the chicken feet and turnip cake. Both were great and I would recommend trying if you haven't! Can't wait to go back and try more new things!
Really good dim sum! I'm glad we got there right at 9 because it was already crowded and the wait seemed very long when we left. Everything was delicious and hot. It took some effort to get their attention for our bill but I will definitely eat here again.
Jade Garden is the place to go for the world's fastest dumplings. And at the best price! Deeply satisfying.
Classic authentic Chinese restaurant, complete with fish tank holding live lobsters, and of course, delicious food.
Dim sum, the sticky rice is fantastic here! Minus 2 star for cleanliness, just dont look up at the dust piled up on the ceiling decorations and pray it won't fall on the food..
Dimsum is good, however this place is probably best for that late night bite around 2am.
Best dim sum for the best price in Seattle. Their shrimp and scallop dumplings, pan fried shrimp and green onion dumplings, and egg custard tarts are perfect on a Sunday morning. Don't miss the honey garlic porkchops and garlic pea vines if you're there for dinner.
Live Lobster they cook for You.
Recomend. ....
Our favorite dim sum destination in the city. Great variety of dim sum options, staff that when we were able to dine inside, were always incredibly tolerant and kind to our loud children, unique favorites like the pineapple buns (do not contain pineapple, but have a perfect egg crust and custard interior) and the chive buns with the seared sesame seeds are must-have. Their take out operation has really gotten dialed in since early in the shut down, and I can wisk a full meal back to my family that's still piping hot, fresh, and delicious, especially dessert...
Place is affordable and great every time we go. Takes about 15 - 20min to sit every Sat or Sun. Highly recommended!
Best place for Dim Sum in Seattle, hate the waiting system there
Good food and decent service. Arrive early otherwise long wait on weekends. Sign in on paper when you arrive. Keep an eye on your name, might get crossed out in accident. Much nicer after renovation, better lighting and tables.
Crab and scallop dumplings are the best! And overall the best place for dim sum in Seattle. Everyone is friendly and we love going there as a family!
Best dim sum in Seattle. Delicious food, extremely friendly staff, and excellent service.
Jade Garden is our favorite place to catch a meal in the International district. Have had a lot of great meals there. Especially with a group where we can share a lot of dishes. They have big round tables with a turn table in the middle that makes sharing plates easy. Love to go before or after sporting events as the district is fairly close to the stadiums.
Went today and ordered the Tripe. After eating half of it, my friend saw a dead insect on the bowl it was served. It was a baby cockroach. I probably eaten one or two. The guy was apologetic but I will never come back here again. Check your bowl before putting anything in your mouth. DISGUSTING PLACE.
Go during busy time you get hot food but long line, go during down time you get Luke warm food and no line. But, it is one of the better dim sum places in Seattle.
Great for groups, two or more especially more. Not for solo eats. Expect a long wait to find a table. Staff shuffles people in and out pretty quick. Food is great and cheap. Very affordable group eatery place.
Cantonese style morning tea, okay, there are too few dishes upstairs.
Very good food under the circumstances. Employees were nice and quick.
Good dim sum places, has decent options like shrimp dumplings, veggie rolls, chicken feet, etc. They have some dim sum options for dinner as well.
Got food poisoning from the oysters last night. :(
Jade Garden Restaurant has good variety choice of food on weekend but expect at least 20-30' wait in lines. Reality check: it's Chinese delivery for crying out loud.
This place has good food if you can get a table which is why I gave it a 2 star. Just for the food. The service is horrible! Long lines and wait time! And the worse is I witnessed a Chinese speaking person talks the hostess into skipping in front of the line. I was really really extremely pissed the last time this happened and I will never be going here again because of it. I mean at least be a bit slick about it but when you obviously do that and everyone else had been waiting for over 45 mins for a table , it s a bit extreme.
Always a great experience and plenty of space for giant family gatherings!
The most fun that you'll have with your brunch anywhere! It's definitely the best dim sum in Seattle, but one of the best things about the place is the identity of the dim sum carts. The food is incredibly delicious, cheap, and you pretty much get a show with your meal. I'm irregular and will stay that way
Great for dim sum....not sure how about night time food
Good food and price with great selection. If you are looking for cleanliness go to Harbor City.
The food was good and the prices and portions reasonable but the service was incredibly poor. Left waiting for someone to take our order for upwards of 20 minutes and the same when it came time for the check.
Restroom is very dirty. Food is good. Service can be better. One server is very rude.
For the best quality and shortest wait, come early.
Pretty good dim sum at lunch, so much supply that some got a little cold and tired. Stir fry and salt and pepper wings were generous portion and excellent. Pace a little stressful for beginners.
Decent Dim Sum. But the carts don't rotate very fast. Keep in mind I went on a week day.
If you know... you know. The Best dim sum in Seattle... amazing service delicious food. You can t go wrong!
So good, but expect a wait for a table. was quoted 20-25 mins. was 65 mins.
Delicious Dim Sum. We opted to sit with strangers at a large table and had a wonderful conversation with our meal. Since they had eaten there before they were also able to make some great recommendations too. I would eat here again.
