Moving cross country can be an awesome task in its own rite. Jack Trier Moving/Storage enabled us to accomplish the move with very little difficulty. Paul Trier, executive representative, was our initial contact. He met with us and discussed the process from beginning to end. He developed an estimate (which was almost right on), delivered boxes for packing and updated our Transit documents as needed. Linda Weeks, move coordinator, is an excellent representative of your company. She knows everything that is necessary to make a move as easy as possible. She keeps the client informed every step of the way. She imparts a sincere interest in your event and works to eliminate the stress related to it. Rod Barth, team leader/driver, was great. His upbeat personality and knowledge of his craft gave us the feeling that our belongings were in good care. Mike treated everything of ours as a precious treasure. He shared his background of knowledge related to the moving experience. Max met Rod here in Washington to help unload. He added his talent to getting our stuff in and somewhat organized. Each one listed made the move a successful venture. We couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend their company.

Hired Treier to move us to North Carolina in August 2020. They screwed up the shipment date resulting in multiple shipments that resulted in not being able to use half the items from the first shipment,e.g. shipped beds but no hardware to use the beds, had to sleep on the floors multiple nights.

Damage to our property was extensive. We had numerous pieces of crystal shattered. Lamps were destroyed, our mahogany china closet has gauges as does our cherry highboy, multiple pieces of bedroom furniture have either large scratches or chunks Of trim ripped off. Numerous boxes are missing and for this we paid $15,000!!!

It is obvious that their employees threw multiple boxes that were very clearly labeled as highly fragile. The staff could care less about our property. Furniture was wrapped but still wound up with all the described damage. Hardwood floors were not protected and their hand-trucks scratched /nicked multiple boards. Letting this company move you is probably equivalent to just throwing your stuff on a rollercoaster, no strap! Worst experience that we have ever had in 35 years of marriage.

This is the second time I used this moving company for a local move. Both experiences have been great. I just moved the Thursday before Labor Day weekend. I had a wonderful three man team. They were on time and took great care of my things. They were very kind and professional. The price was exactly what was quoted so there were no surprises. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful.....from the estimate to the moving specialist that sets everything up....I felt the customer service was superior. If I ever need to move again this is the company I will definitely call. Highly recommended!

Beware of this Company. They will deny you payment on items "their" movers break or damage. Very Unprofessional and Totally Incompetent..

Excellent experience from start to finish for our recent move from Maryland to Florida. Our estimator Dan was out first contact and my wife and I were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He was head and shoulders above the others we met with. We stayed in contact with Dan until moving day when we met Jay and Becky our movers. They are personable, down to earth, hard working, and extremely knowledgeable. Their advice was invaluable. A $100 bill fell out of one of the pieces of furniture when it was being loaded and Jay promptly returned it to my wife. Linda was our move coordinator and she kept us informed of the truck and the delivery date the entire time. There was a small glitch when the van arrived at our new home in Florida but Jay and Becky had it resolved in an hour or two and the off load was quick and easy. We have been involved with Mayflower on one other occasion when several items were delivered to us in Maryland from California, and that crew was equally impressive. If I ever move again my first call will be to Mayflower.

We had a very positive experience with Jack Trier Moving and Storage! The young men who handled our furniture were topnotch. They were friendly and polite. Every effort was made to insure that our house and its belongings were unharmed. Their efficiency kept the expense of our move below budget. My husband and I highly recommend this great team!

The 3 men that did our moving were great!! Kind, professional, and fast without compromising quality! They showed up at 9am and we were completely moved into our new house by 2pm (local move)! The total was even less than the estimated costs. We highly recommend this company. They might be pricey per hour, but they do a great job and we felt it was worth every penny.

I engaged Jack Treier for a 1 bedroom move to NYC (Financial District). Everyone I dealt with was polite, professional, competent, and punctual. The estimator was prompt and accurate. What they estimated is what I paid. The packup and delivery was prompt. The coordinator contacted when needed to keep me informed throughout the entire process. A very pleasant experience.
