I am very pleased with my experience with J Croyle & Associates Inc. Jen Terwilliger my recruiting manager could not have made my job search any easier. She was very friendly and helpful. I could not have asked for a nicer person. She helped me from seeing what my needs and wants were to helping me prepare for my interview. Also wishing me good luck on the day of my interview. I interviewed for a job with a great company and before I even got home from the interview I had the job. I wish I would have found Jen and J Croyle and associates sooner. Thanks for helping me find the position and company I was looking for.

J Croyle is amazing! I worked a crappy overnight job at a terrible place while I looked for a better one. Jen from J Croyle found me a PERFECT new job, completely prepared me for the interview, and walked me through every step of the way. I'm beyond pleased with her, and the entire business. They are all sweet, outgoing, highly sophisticated, and very smart. Thank you Jen and J Croyle for helping me find a dream job AND obtain it. I couldn't have done it without you! If you're looking for a job, go to J Croyle. You won't be disappointed

I must admit, I was a little weary of working with a staffing agency, as I have had a very bad experience with one in the past, but J Croyle was nothing but kind, professional, and hard working. My recruiter, Ashley, was incredibly kind to me through the whole process and helped me get a wonderful job. She was always in contact me throughout the entire process. The day before the interview, she coached me through questions they might ask and basically did a "mock interview" and made my nerves feel much more at ease during my actual interview. I would absolutely recommend Ashley and J Croyle to anyone!

Worst agency I ve ever dealt with. They never return calls and are extremely unprofessional. I m now dealing with another local agency who is more responsive. I have over 25 years of experience and don t have time for the lack of professionalism.

Amanda was attentive, upbeat, and all around great to work with. She was honest and professional every step of the way. I would recommend friend and family to call her at J Croyle & Associates if they are ever looking to find a professional job.

I had applied for a position they had listed on Indeed and went in for an interview, didn t qualify for the position but they still helped me look for a job and told me what changes I needed to make to my resume only to not hear back from them after sending them a new copy of my resume which is frustrating since this is a temp agency. I don t recommend this company after that because it s hard enough as it is with trying to find a job because of COVID. But I will say that Lucy was very nice and helpful

After posting my resume on Indeed, J Croyle contacted me saying they could help. I spoke with one of their agents and agreed to work with them. After only a single month, they were able to find me a position that was EXACTLY what I was looking for. There were 4 other interviews that I went on through them, but did not feel it was right for me. I will ALWAYS recommend J Croyle to those in the Pittsburgh area that are looking for a career.

J. Croyle really worked hard to help me find a position! My representative's name was Jamie. She called me everyday with a new place that she was going to send my resume to! I ended up taking another position that J. Croyle didn't set me up with, but Jamie was very helpful and really seemed like she cared about finding me a job. The positions then set you up with are sort of lower-level jobs for not a lot of pay, but if you need a job immediately, they're very helpful!

I initially thought my experience with J Croyle & Associates was going to be just another interview, I unfortunately ended up learning more than what I'd care to know. I rarely write reviews, however, after taking a half day at work in order to make it to this interview as well as paying $27 in parking... I hope I'm able to prevent someone's time from being wasted, especially for those of us whose time is precious during the job hunting process. It's truly appalling how this company hasn't been shut down yet due to violating laws during their "interview" enforced by EEOC. I use quotations because they essentially mislead hopeful job candidates via job info they advertise on CL, CareerBuilder etc. I'm sure their employees are kind individuals but they have to know what they're doing is wrong. I was asked how many times I was in the hospital in the past, if I was married, what my husband did for work, how old my children were, how my credit was currently looking and I'm not quite sure how any of this information was relevant to them but there's most likely reasons behind it. I felt they devalued my work experience and education in order to offer me a CALL CENTER JOB because according to them, that is what I qualified for. No mention whatsoever of the job I was lead to believe I was interviewing for. When I tried to inquire further on how they came to that conclusion, I felt I was verbally manipulated and in a tone that sounded like she had said that many times before. I spoke to a gentleman who was interviewing as well & on our walk out of the building we compared our experiences. Turns out, multiple allegations were reported to the BBB & U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for their unethical employment practices and they're currently under investigation. It's a shame knowing honest people walk into this place of business on a daily basis under false impressions, only to leave feeling less than qualified. It would have saved the both of us time if they read my resume, made a decision on whether my qualifications matched the position, and moved on without contacting me like a normal employer.

If you are ready to look for new employment and do not have the time or patience to job hunt, I highly recommend going to J Croyle and Associates. My recruiter, Jen, helped me immensely. She looked for jobs that reflected my specific needs and qualifications. She has excellent communication skills and always has new leads. The entire staff as a whole, are extremely friendly and helpful. They make every effort to help you achieve your goals in the employment arena.

I recently relocated to PGH and was looking for a role to start my career here. I reached out to several, large-scale recruiting agencies and although they were helpful, they were ultimately unsuccessful in placing me.
Nicole at J. Croyle reached out to me after I had posted my resume on Indeed. Nicole was the first recruiter who sent me out on interviews. All the roles she sent me on were good options and after 3 interviews, with different industries, I was placed in the perfect setting and the role I wanted to be in. Nicole was supportive through each role and extremely professional and thorough. I would recommend J. Croyle to anyone looking for a role in a professional environment. Thank you Nicole and all the staff at J. Croyle!!

J Croyle & Associates Inc is a great company to establish an employer. My recruiter, Jennifer Terwilliger is outstanding. She doesn't only know how to create a great relationship, she is also a successful liaison. She, and the company always has an upbeat attitude. Jennifer constantly kept in contact, never over called or hassled. Her intentions, as well as mine were completed. Thanks again to the wonderful crew of J Croyle & Associates.

Second time I have been here with the same result. I was told that after my initial interview I would be called later that day or before lunch the following day. I never received the call and each time I called the recruiter was either "in a meeting" or out to lunch no later when I called it was always the same. Years ago when I had applied and this happened I just figured it was because I was inexperianced. Now that I have more than enough qualifications still the same result. I just would like straightforward information if I wasn't an "ideal" candidate it would be nice to know instead of getting the run around.

NEVER GO HERE. This place is a scam! I took the day off, set up child care, & paid $22 in parking to meet with a woman named Taylor. I was brought in for a job that paid $20/hr. At the end of my interview Taylor told me that the position had already been filled?! She failed to mention this information during the 40 minute interview, while I was taking a typing test, or filling out paperwork with highly confidential information for a background/credit check. After reading others' reviews, it appears that this company posts false job openings and has you come in to interview. They then try to offer you completely different jobs that pay barely above minimum wage. PLEASE do not waste your time or money meeting with this company. Taylor and J. Croyle & Associates should be ashamed! They are taking advantage of hard working people looking for employment opportunities. Please stay far far away from this corrupt agency!

I appreciate the staff at J. Croyle & Assoc. taking the time to get to know me and finding a position that was suitable for the skills I have. It was a bonus to have a position within a week of my interview and less than 30 minutes from my home.

TL;DR - They bait you with a good job that probably doesn t even exist, ask you inappropriate questions, make you feel bad about yourself so you will take one of the low paying jobs they offer and will never discuss the job you actually applied for.

Unbelievably bad. I applied to a Legal Secretary position on Craigslist listed under J. Croyle & Associates that was supposed to pay $45,000. I thought that was a generous amount of money considering the most I ve ever made as an Administrative Assistant is around $35,000, but I met all of the qualifications listed. I should have realized that it was a recruiting agency, but I did not until I looked them up after applying. I still thought to myself that if I got the job and they took their percentage of my salary for finding me the job that I would still be making more than I ever have before. When I arrived to the agency I had to fill out a piece of paper that is just a bunch of questions that should already be answered on your resume. I met with a different girl than I spoke to on the phone. She seemed nice enough at first, but very quickly I realized that she was trying to make me feel bad about myself so that I would take a lower paying job. By the end of the interview she had implied that my boyfriend was probably really eager for me to get a job and had asked me how I was keeping myself up with all the long gaps in my resume since I mentioned I had never been on unemployment. Flabbergasted I blurted out that my family was helping me and felt my whole face turn red. In addition to this, when I mentioned mistreatment and toxic cultures in previous workplaces she outright said I should expect that behavior from law and finance guys if I want to be an Administrative Assistant. In the middle of filling out the paper work with tears in my eyes I got up and left. We never discussed the job that I actually applied to because it probably doesn t actually exist. Also, it s important to note that she thought it was laughable that I wanted $15 an hour after being called back for a position they listed at $21.63 an hour ($45,000 a year). I would strongly discourage going to this place.

I found J. Croyle & Associates Pittsburgh office to be an amazing agency that works extremely hard to find their clients quality jobs and the right fit for the individual. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable in helping the candidate through the interview process to provide optimum results in their job search. If anyone asked me (from my experience) where to go for an agency that works right alongside you until you get that dream job, the very first place I would suggest is J. Croyle & Associates.

Of all of the employment agencies I worked with, J...

Of all of the employment agencies I worked with, J. Croyle was the one that worked best for me. I was in contact with my representative there on at *least* a weekly basis, either with her checking in with a job opportunity, or me checking in with her to see if there was anything that was a fit for me. I was eventually placed at a location in Squirrel Hill, and the position was part time. I enjoyed my work, but longed for full-time employment, which I found not through J. Croyle.

I was paid a fair wage, and my paychecks were always for the hours I worked.

To the person who complained that they were paid minimum wage for their last paycheck: That only happens if you WALK OFF THE JOB. They warn you about this and you sign a form saying you understand that this is a penalty for not giving notice. I gave two weeks' notice and was not penalized at all.

And to everyone who complains about having to pay to park? Learn a little bit about where you are parking. If you don't want to pay $27 to park, then DON'T PARK AT THE STEEL TOWER. It's downtown Pittsburgh; you're going to have to at least pay $10, if not more. If you don't want to pay to park, then take the bus or Uber or Lyft.

If the need arose, I would return to J. Croyle to assist me in my job search.

Once you put in your hours and you choose not to go permanent with their customer they penalize you for not giving proper notice by lowering your pay to Federal Minimum Wage calling it a voluntary resignation. So basically you work your contracted hours and when you reach it, their customer will offer to take you permanently and if you decline - you forfeit your money and you're ostracized from the company. Nice loophole. You do not define my worth or my work ethic. I'm glad to get out of this devilish contract and be among brighter and cleaner souls. May you find peace and love to heal your karmic baggage. I do not recommend this poorly managed company to anyone and warn those thinking about doing business with this agency.

I was contacted by J Croyle when I started searching for my first job in Pittsburgh, and I had an excellent experience with them. Their staff is so friendly and considerate, you can tell they genuinely care about helping you find a job. I was matched with a job that I love and I couldn't be happier with how smooth everything went!! I can't recommend working with J Croyle enough, they are by far the best temp agency I've ever worked with! Whether I was nervous, had questions, needed information or even advice on moving to Pittsburgh, their staff was there for me and ready to help! Special shoutout to both Jordan's that work there :)

I sent my resume to J Croyle & Associates, Inc. on 10/4/2015. I was asked for an interview that Tuesday, and was able to get an interview with a company and a job offer THAT DAY. It's a bit of an adventure down there, but every single staff member, especially Jennifer, was exceedingly kind and helpful. They actually helped me get a job in my field, and I was a history major! I would recommend this place to anyone!

This isn't a good agency. Jobs are hard to come across during covid, but honestly I think I would've been better unemployed. I let them know I absolutely wouldn't work at a call center. The position they submitted me for is a call center. I let them know I'm with a five month old and I can't do a call center anyway. I let them know that and they got upset at me. They are hard to get in contact with and aren't very professional. I wouldn't recommend them.

People were nice enough, and the only reason I'm giving them two stars. They were next to useless when trying to find me a job. Never stayed in contact me or called me, despite multiples times when they told me they'd call me back. I had to call them in order to speak to anyone, in which I was rushed off the phone and told they'd call me back later that day or tomorrow. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody that is serious and motivated about finding a job, just do your own research and you'll be able to find something.

The representative that handled my case was extremely rude to me, and suggested that I was to stop expecting anything better professionally or income wise in an attempt to have me accept an interview somewhere and she would be able to get her commission no matter what. She did a poor job.

J. Croyle is usless, they called me last year to go in with resume etc. I went with hopes of being placed with a reputable co. Paid $12 for parking. Called a few days later to follow up. Oh so and so is in a meeting (fake) she will call you back. No call back. Never received return calls, that is rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place as I don't believe they have good intentions. Went bak again in 2017 to give them another chance, the exact same thing happened. Never again!

I got a call from J Croyle asking if i wanted to come in for an interview....when i went in I met with Jamie, and she built a relationship with me in a way that when she made the promise to find me the greatest fit for me and the company, she really did. She found me a great job now that is perfect as in location, pay, size, future growth prospects, and coworkers. I cannot imagine being at a better place and I would have never been able to have this opportunity if it wasn't for Jamie and J. Croyle & Associates, so thank you!

I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for J Croyle & Associates. I sent in my resume online and shortly after I received a phone call from Jennifer Terwilliger asking me to come in for an interview! She was nothing but friendly and professional. After our interview process, she offered a potential position for me at a nearby office. After agreeing that I would be interested in that position, she handled EVERYTHING. She set up an interview for me, coached me into how to handle my interview, and even went above and beyond by calling me before my interview to wish me good luck! I went into my interview feeling confident and after I left, I called her to let her now how it went. Just 2 hours after my interview, I received a phone call from Jennifer saying that I was offered the job! Now I have a stable career, all thanks to Jennifer and J. Croyle & Associates. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!
