I came in on Valentines Day with my husband. He order the Shrimp and Garlic noodles. (Amazing) I order the Combo - Fried Fish, Chicken and Shrimp. (Amazing) My side orders were Mac and cheese, greens, and Red Beans and Rice. Everything was amazing. I will come back every chance I get.

All securities, bouncers, people, staff are amazing let's just say they don't tolerate bs there they get it done good job. Had a problem there and was well taken care of.

I have NO clue what good Senegalese food tastes like... in fact, i have no idea where in Africa it is! Chances are... you don't either (to both questions)... but you definitely MUST try this place. It's amazing!
Ate at ix Tapa twice on our vacation, one lunch and one dinner. The lunch was typical Mexican fare, and was all very good. For dinner, it transforms (at least on our visit) into a more upscale atmosphere with a fancier (and more expensive) menu. Dinner was also very good. Service was great for both, and we had no complaints.
Came here last night for dinner and the mariachi show. Our server was super sweet and accommodating, our margaritas and other drinks were super tasty, and the mariachi band was very talented! Our food was pretty decent too - chips, salsa and guac were really good and the rest of our dishes were just okay. Down sides were the fact that all the tables and chairs are foldable....I get from a practicality stand point that this makes a lot of sense, but the chairs weren't super sturdy or comfortable for a meal and a show. Also, as soon as the band is finished (which is after only like an hour or so) you have to move out of the way so they can convert the whole space into a club. Once the dancing began, it was SOOOO unbelievably hot in there. We wanted to stay and dance but just got too uncomfortable. All in all, decent for drinks and chips.
Fun place good atmosphere, but it does get a bit crowded for the club portion. Also when you buy bottle service, if you run out of juice you got to pay for more. Unlike many other clubs where they keep bringing you juice as long as you still have liquor. Other than that I would have rate this place higher.
I went to IX Tapa last night to celebrate my birthday. The last time I was here was in May 2017. I spoke to Walter who was able to help me reserve the large upstairs lounge area. When we arrived it was not quite time for the club. We checked in at the front. Rogelio the manager greeted me & informed me that we had been upgraded to the VIP lounge area. We got to sit & wait in the upstairs lounge area until they were ready. Rogelio himself came & escorted my party to the VIP lounge area. Everyone was very attentive. The waitress was so awesome & security kept checking on us to make sure we were doing ok. One of the best experiences ever!! Thank you IX Tapa staff for making me feel special on my birthday.
A very odd place. We were seated and given menus. The menu was very limited, and very different than what we found on line. When the waiter came, we asked if there was more to the menu, he told us it was merichachi night (it was only 7:30) and therefore they has a limited menu. There were very few people in there. We left, since we wanted things in the full menu.
This place was great . First Mariachi Night that needs to be advertised more. The guys are great. Great show! The food was Delicious . And the club afterwards was a great time. I will be back soon.
