IU Campus Bus Service Review

Used it several times. Very clean, very professional drivers, and great app to see very close approximation of where it is and when it will arrive.

I could give this company 5/5 when it's warm outside but capacity struggles in the colder months. The E bus comes much too infrequently and is full much too often in the winter for me to leave a glowing review here, all 5s must be from those pesky A bus patrons.

I was driving southbound on DUNN street between 6 and 615PM on Thursday May 11th 2017 and there were 2 IU buses parked next to the POPLAR building garage and as I was heading close towards the rear bus, it suddenly cut me off big time on purpose AND ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. Next time that happens again I will most certainly file a complaint to the Department of Transportation for sure.

Big campus, hard to drive around, but awesome for Uber drivers.

I have never been a fan of public transportation, but recently an IU driver gave me another reason entirely to despite taking the bus.

I mistakenly entered through the back doors rather than the front, thinking that since there were less than ten people in the vehicle and I've never been asked for ID on the campus busses, that it wouldn't be a big deal. I sat down and settled in, losing myself in my music before a jarring interruption. The bus driver was actually summoning from my seat using his intercom.

Confused, I got up (with my ID, just in case that was what he wanted) and walked to him. He immediately began to scold me for entering through the back, as if I had been caught red-handed doing something amoral. The situation reminded me of getting in trouble with my father when I was still a toddler.

I tried to calmly explain to him that it was a mistake, that I'd assumed it had been all right for the aforementioned reasons, and go back to my seat. Unfortunately, he wouldn't allow that and continued to admonish me: "you have to go through the front doors, just like everyone else."

I would like to point out that not once in the process of walking through those doors to get into a public transportation vehicle did I feel too entitled.

This driver then proceeded to criticize my actions until I finally said: "yes, all right, I've got it." It wasn't until then that he allowed me to return to my seat.

I am an adult and a patron, and should be treated as such. This man's gross disregard for customer service, or more generally, human tact, has settled it for me. I'll never get on an IU Campus bus again.

The X rout busses and drivers are lazy, late, and incompetent. They just sit there when they are suppesed to be working.

Bus was 10 minutes later than scheduled. Driver wasn t wearing mask and was coughing. Also unrelated but almost hit by W bus while crossing with the right of way
