Just moved in 258 Nelson's CRT. Overall, Wes Group is doing well except for their Construction Delay( According to their Strata Agent AWM, this delay push up the strata fee more than 60% ! )

Anyway, the over charged portion on the strata fee shall be refunded ASAP as AWM admits they pick up expensive insurance broker but they just found a cheaper one.

WES GROUP Customer Care Team is responsive.
Especially, Nathan and Jerry was doing their best to our service call even on SAT.

I just bought a Wesgroup home and my experience has been pleasant so far. Julia on the Property Management team was extremely helpful with the hiccups I had with the move-in process even though Wesgroup s involvement was over after the purchase. I also love the River District community that Wesgroup has created.

I rented a basement suite from Wesgroup for several years. They made sure any issues that arose were sorted quickly and professionally. I felt like the place was maintained well. Each winter the house was salted weekly to ensure no ice issues on the sidewalks. We were given the opportunity to paint our space as well (this of course was specific to our unit). It was nice to be able to make space our own.

We have had wesgroup as our landlords for 3 years and have been very happy with their quick response to service needs. The online system for filing repair needs as well as direct contact with the property manager Sarah have been efficient and timely. We would recommend Wesgroup as a landlord.

I've been with Wesgroup for over a year now, and they've treated me and my roommates well. They took over ownership from another firm in 2019, came into our place to see what updates/renovations needed to be made and followed through on their word.

Great experience living at a Wesgroup property for a couple of years while waiting for our new place to be finished. Right from the beginning when I answered an ad for the rental unit the property manager was very professional and very nice. Along the way, issues with the property were addressed quickly as the maintenance staff and contractors were all great. Good communication by phone and with the on-line system made it work for me. I would definitely rent from Wesgroup again if the need arose in the future. Being an industry professional I know what goes on operationally with these rental properties and I was very happy with the high level of safety, security and service that my family experienced while being a tenant at a Wesgroup property.

Poor management and customer service. Incompetent team that manages their buildings. Do not recommend living in one of their properties.
Best you will get is "We apologize for your bad experience, but will not change anything we do (or rather don't do)" response.

This is the first time I wrote a review and wished I could give a company 0 stars.
Pre-word: I have lived in a building that Wesgroup took over for just about 4 years. (Wesgroup took over just under a year ago). I and my partner have been great tenants, looking out for cleanliness and safety of the building, forming great relationships with most long term residents.
Since Wesgroup took over our apartment building, cleanliness and quality of care for the building, in general, became close to non-existent.
Amongst problems:
- illegal move-ins and outs in the middle of the nights, often large groups of people
- apartments that contain multiple unregistered tenants that come and go whenever, many of whom are extremely questionable characters
- multiple break-ins into many of the entrances around the building
- homeless camps that are not addressed or removed for weeks
- garbage dumped wherever
Building carers sisters Bjanka and Silvana have to be told about major issues within the building as they don't do regular walk-throughs or maintenance. Simple Example: front door lock that was broken for days until it had to be pointed out to Bjanka, who sits every day in her office 5 feet away, reading books all day.

In my experience, Wesgroup greatly lacks the ability to manage properties and care for residents' safety. We just moved out and had an awful experience, including being cancelled on with no warning when it came to apartment handoff. Silvana just did not show up, letting my partner wait until he called her to check where she was. She said she was not going to come and that he had to come during work hours during the week.
I highly recommend staying away from renting at any of Wesgroup properties.

Response to the Wesgroup message:
Hi, just to clarify something in regards to fob.
The only way we would have the second fob is if we stole it or we paid deposit to get it.
If we are not supposed to have the fob per your logic, we should be able to keep the second fob as it belongs to us as you have no record that we owe it to you. By this logic I should have requested my second fob back and not returned it.
In regards to your second point, I am not sure why I would contact the property management that treated me so poorly and help them resolve numerous issues in the building. I was doing this while I lived at the property but do not intend to do so after I moved out. Frankly, I am not paid to do the job your employees should be doing.

They have been anything but honest with me when I make enquiries about the heat situation in my suite.They promise all the things they know you want to hear and give nothing or little. I pay for a heated suite and I heat it myself with small electric heaters which I purchased and I pay the hydro .

Rented a great suite with Wesgroup in Kits for just over a year. Vianca Vergara is the best property manager you could ask for. A couple of repairs that needed to be done were promptly executed and she was available quickly for any other concerns or questions. Also a pleasure to interact with. 100 % would recommend.

I ve been renting with Wesgroup since July 2019. After my 1 year lease was complete my Landlord Vianca V with Wesgroup helped me find another unit that fit our needs better after this Covid Pandemic crisis. She So thoughtfully connected me to another amazing Landlord with Wesgroup and we just moved to our new condo at the start of Oct 2020. This new building also has more amenities which is what we were looking for since staying home is more crucial now. What I love is that the two condos I ve stayed are pet friendly with great ventilation. The EastPark location I moved from is wonderful because the neighborhood is great, everyone is friendly including the building caretaker, and it s clean and eco conscious with sensor lights in the hallways and garage. We often took walks to Queen Elizabeth park. We moved so that we had a few extra amenities and a bigger parking spot. Each building has its unique benefits and I highly recommend renting with them as they are always ready to help you.
