Keith and his crew have gone above and beyond, bent over backwards to help find what the two musicians in my family needed, wanted, and didn t even know they needed or wanted (he has such thoughtful and helpful suggestions!). We ve been 110% happy with the quality of instruments, accessories, and service Island Music has provided us over the years. We will be lifelong customers.

Been going here for years and loved it, but now finding out there is a all sales final policy you can't even return an impulse buy you make. Not just that, I was low-balled on a great condition bass I sold them. Even better, some of their products are marked up double the price.
I bought my keyboard from Island Music a couple years ago and I love it. They have great customer service and a wide variety of musical instruments and accessories available. Island Music has become a staple of the Town of La Plata community and I love going to visit and shop.
Island Music is my go to music store for me. I don't mind the drive from Baltimore knowing my needs will always be met. It's nice to see a friendly knowledgable staff like the old days. The vibe is like the music stores of the past with the ultimate selection. Jack always takes care of me. The one issue I had with a guitar was taken care of quickly with out issue. I look forward to my times there.

I started purchasing from Island Music after I had a bad Amazon experience purchasing a ukulele for my daughter. Not only did Island have a great variety of instruments, they had better prices and a super helpful staff! They helped me find the perfect (and reasonably priced) beginner ukulele for my daughter and hooked us up with a free ukulele lesson! Amazon can't compete with that!
I bought my first piano at Island Music. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I also take piano lessons at Island Music Company, and always look forward to the music lesson. The teacher/musicians are awesome, knowledgeable and always willing to help. We are so lucky to have such a quality music store in La Plata. Thank you!
Keith and everyone at Island Music is amazing! They offer everything you could possibly need or want and they are all very personable. Keith is always willing to go above and beyond for everyone that he comes in to contact with at the store or elsewhere. Highly recommend.
My First contact with Island Music was with Matt who was incredibly helpful. After flying all the way from Detroit, to pick up a specific rare instrument, I also got to meet Keith, the owner. Boy was I surprised to find a store of this caliber in such a small town; they have everything!
In addition, it seems that everyone there is a musician, and so they appreciate the musicians point of view they are not just some big box outlet!
Anyway, SO happy with my purchase of a vintage Martin Guitar and the excellent customer service I received from Matt, Keith and the entire staff at Island Music. Can t wait to see what rare find they come up with next that I can t live without!
