My kids went to ISF and I was very unhappy with the school. It is a very expensive school but they had over 30 kids in most classes, 31 kids in my son's 5th grade class. Parents complained regularly about the class sizes to the administration and nothing was done.

The school is handing out threatening leaves because 3-4 residents use their 'private parking space' every night. These are NEVER used (live on the street since 2009), even if the school is used normally during the day. The parking spaces are a good 200m away from the entrance. Quite disrespectful when you consider that there are always only a few and how much the streets suffer from all the school traffic and many residents are therefore stressed. But high school fees and masses of students are the only thing that matters.

I am currently a student here, and was all my life. I can say that I enjoy the people I get to hang around with, and everybody can find friends here. A lot of people can show their talents through the various school activities. The "International" in "International School Frankfurt" is well deserved. Bullying is basically not even a thing here, and you never see a fight happen.

-1 star for the amount of teachers leaving the school. I had 3 of my teachers leave in the middle of last year, while we prepared for the IGCSE examinations. This year, one of my IB teachers left the school in the first 3 months, and this is in a IB HL course. I will gladly make it a 5 star review when these problems get fixed, and I don't have to tackle the class self taught anymore. I know that this is not entirely the schools fault, and that is why I only subtracted 1 star.

Looking past that, I still have a good time here, with the remaining teachers being the best you can imagine. All of them have a good and unique teaching style.

If you're looking for a school in Frankfurt, and can afford it, at least visit the school ground and check it out for yourself.

Edit: All good now

The school focus more on commercials business and less on children. Most of the Parents have taken their children out from ISF recently as the primary school co-coordinator is very irresponsible and very demotivated to speak to kids. Always hiding school mistakes towards children. No actual social learning and No moral values in ISF.

Boring textbooks, cramming method of teaching, lack of efforts for personality education, poor management for stealing or bullying...those are what I felt disappointed at. There should be something that they need to focus on more for true education. Those two stars for just a few good teachers.

This school Does not provide a good environment to the kids. They feeding them with a horrible food and doesn t even allow them to get food outside. Also regarding the teaching stuff, they do not have enough teacher, most of the time people who are teaching doesn t even have a degree in the subject they trying to teach. Not enough space for all the students, high school kids even styding in the containers not an actual building.
