Always a great place to stop when I'm downtown. Some of the jewelry seems a little high priced but love the place

The shop owner is extremely rude From the second my group walked in we were watched like a hawk. Obviously she doesn't know how to be pleasant to people and is extremely unhappy so she wants everyone that enters her store to be as well. Don't come here unless you want to feel like your a criminal. Shop owner is also sexist and racist. 0 stars if I could. Never going back.

Charming shop, friendly staff, decent selection and reasonable prices

This is a beautiful little shop full of culture and gorgeous items. Some items are a bit over priced. But overall fantastic. I will definitely be back!

I went in here to buy a gift for my mother. I tried to take a picture of the perfume to ask my sister if it was the right one when the shopkeeper rudely yelled at me "NO PICTURES!" before I could even lift my phone. This was after she stared me down with a scowl the entire time and she never even greeted me or offered to help me. She literally just screamed this across the store and scared me half to death. I wouldn't have minded if she had asked nicely, but really?

So I decided to buy my mom something else for her birthday. I have no idea what's wrong with the mean old lady but she's a witch and it ruined the entire store for me. Just not worth it.

Oh, and if this doesn't convince you it's a terrible place, check out this other review on yelp, the store owner is severely homophobic and assaulted a gay couple.

"I wish I could give 0 stars, the owner kicked my boyfriend out for being openly gay, I followed my boyfriend outside and waited for my friends. After a few minutes in the cold I went back inside, not my boyfriend, and he insisted that not only did he disrepect my boyfriend that I also had been kicked out of the store, prior to this outburst he has not said a single word to me. He then came around the counter and grabbed me by the arm, which I now know is ASSAULT. I told him not to lay his disgusting hands on me and I left the store. He later called the police after assaulting me, FUNNY JOKE! The other customers in the store got the police report sorted out and he looked like a total jerk"

I would put zero stars if possible. Unsolicited and divisive opinions from the owner to customers is the quickest way to loose them. The owner spouting off without knowing who he is speaking with is unprofessional and bad for business. I had been by several times in the past and have no reason to return.

I Love this store . I come here every time I get a chance, and bring all of my friends and relatives.

A little pricey, but most of their stuff is fine quality. The owners are friendly and very helpful. Great unique gifts for the Irish and Scots in your life.

Had a wonderful visit; great service - helpful but not pushy. Found out they also have bangers and sausages -had to take some home. A place to go back again.

This is one of my favorite shops in downtown Fredericksburg. The folks are always friendly and every nook is filled with interesting things.

Super friendly staff and neat shop. Lots of cool Irish trinkets and ancestry lookup. Definately a spot to stop by if you visit the downtown area.

I have been shopping at Irish Eyes for 20 years. Love everybody that works there. They are so wonderful. It s a joy to know them and shop there. Love their merchandise. !!!

Love this place! We always stop in whenever we are downtown. I can always find something unique for a gift, or even a Christmas ornament.

This place has amazing merchandise and was authentically Irish.

Rude. I was happy this store was here because it's nice to have a source to celebrate my roots, but when I found a gift for my mom and they had a couple of types, I wanted to write the names down so I could research and come back the next day to make my purchase. Was told I couldn't have a piece of paper because they were closing. So I said I'd take a picture but they wouldn't allow me to. I guess they don't want my money. Spent my valuable time there looking for a gift but now I won't be back to purchase it.

I was planning on buying a cap and a pewter goblet. The male shop keeper was so rude I left. The female shop keeper was quite pleasant but I was so turned off by his brashness.

This store had unique items and friendly staff. The store was a little cluttered though.

We have shopped this locally owned store for many decades. My husband's wedding band was bought at this store. So when I wanted a new claddagh ring we purposely waited until we were in town visiting to go to this store. We were told that the ring was solid sterling silver. They had to order the ring and shipped it to my home. It took about 4 weeks.

I was so happy with the ring but within hours of wearing the ring it was got scratched. I called Irish Eyes to discuss my disappointment in the quality of their product. The Owner was very rude and said it wasn't his fault that I banged my hand and scratched the ring. (I don't even remember hitting my hand) He said the ring was sterling silver according to the Irish Government.

So we took the ring to 3 local jewelers. All of them said that the ring was not easily repairable because it was plated sterling silver on top of brass. It was not solid sterling silver like we had been told!

My Mother-in-Law went into the store to talk to them in person and they were unwilling to do a refund and continued to insist that their products are solid sterling silver.

I'm sad to say that no one in my family will ever shop at this local business again.

I love Irish eyes. The staff are superb and knowledgeable about the history of their goods. They sell all the latest up to date gifts and novelties. Their clothing is unique and fashionable. I love that place and I love Bernadette and Mike

I was walking by today and there was a set up with employees standing outside dressed up in Irish outfits. The two older bearded men stopped me and told me that I looked like Daenerys from GOT, and kept saying things about how I looked like her. Then one of them said that "we won't fully know until you walk out naked."
Yeah. Not the best way to attract customers. Certainly will not be stepping foot into this establishement again.
That's not how you talk to people, especially for someone who's young enough to be their grand daughter. Please consider that I am a human and that these things are not appropriate or funny.

A very fun store with family crests and various Irish fanfare. Love the store and it's old Fredericksburg VA location.

Very cramped shop but lots of stuff in a wide price range. Even have snacks and drinks from Ireland and other European countries.

Waitresses just sit around at a common table...had to interrupt them to get more water.

Fantastic little shop..only wish it was a wee bit bigger ! Love the place as do our friends a family. Many unusual gifts from fragrances to jewelry to the souvineer t-shirt to be found and enjoyed either for yourself or someone else.

Great store run by Great people. Authentic Irish from the Old Country. Quality merchandise with quality service.

A wonderful place and lovely staff! The items are of excellent quality and the food items they sell I cannot live without. I will certainly return here often. Thanks for making us feel welcome to your shop!

They always have back bacon, black and white pudding. Great gift shop and a little touch of home. Cheers.
