4 quarts is an institution. I'm glad that it's sticking around. I do feel like the drink prices are a little bit high but it's still a good time and they always have good music. Went there for the first day of March madness and he had the games on so that was cool.

Ok so they have food and beer. But the foods not good and the beer isn't unique. $6.50 a Guiness and that was the nicer beer on the list. No craft or European beers. At our table we had a ham and cheese sandwich and "sweet chili" wings. I gave them three stars because of the nice patio and friendly servers! :)

Visiting from Vegas and had to hit up some bars. Ofcourse you can t go wrong with an Irish pub. Great service with an amazing atmosphere. Met some strangers that became friends by the end of the night that apparently frequent the pub almost daily and feel like family. Yup this is the place I d come back to anytime I m in town. Thanks for the memories guys!

I enjoy this establishment and its a good happy hour, but the food is very "blah". They did a good job with the monday night trivia nights, and the open mic events are always fun. Ive seen some great talent there. However, the food is very mediocre. The nacho plate and nachos I ordered felt like they had been in a freezer all day. Ive never had them that cold before. The crab dip I ordered was very soupy and liquidy and not that creamy. However, the bread that came with it was fantastic. This place could goto a 4 or 5 star place if the food was better. I hope it was just an off night for them.

Food was good, staff was hilarious and friendly, couldn't ask for better bar food and the there were so many regulars to talk to that had great tips for places to go off the grid from the normal tourist stuff of DC.

I've been here at night, on weekends, during the week, and for brunch. Everything has been great. The bartenders are super friendly (and cute), the drinks are good, the vibe is happy and fun, and the brunch is delicious and cheap. You can't beat $2.50 mimosas- basically bottomless. Would definitely recommend!

Maybe if you order some Irish or European style beer you would have a better experience. Stale beer is no fun
Also, some folks might find the discombobulating array of stifling rooms charming. We did not.

5 stars for food! Their boxty patties are amazing and the chicken pot pie was wildly delicious. Fish and chips were spot on and crispy!
3 stars for service... possibly a new server, no apparent management on the floor. Could've been a fluke night.

My second time here, and just as great as the first. I'm surprised the brunch isn't busier, but hey, more for me! My dogs are enjoying the outside seating, and the waitress is super sweet and helpful.

One of my favorite places to go! The atmosphere is great, the food and drinks are exactly what you'd expect from an Irish pub, and the staff are phenomenal. They really make you feel like they care. So much so that, restrictions permitting, I've tried to get takeout or visit them at least a few times a month to support them getting through Covid. Absolutely worth a visit if you're looking for an Irish Pub.

Stopped in for a Guinness on the way back to our hotel after a long day of sight-seeing in DC. This is the type of place where the locals hang out to watch soccer on one of the many TVs. Everyone was welcoming and friendly.

Two stars only because the food was good. That is where it ends for me. We waited excessively long for most everything and they were not even that busy.
Maybe they were understaffed this night but our server was clueless and so was the manager. Three out of four people in our party received their food in a timely manner but the fourth person didn't receive his order until the rest of us were basically done eating. The only thing worse than waiting for my friends order was waiting for the check. The server even came back after about 15 minutes to ask if someone had taken our check and we had to tell him that he didn't drop it off yet. From a customer service standpoint this place was absolutely bad. Maybe they had a rough night but that was my first and last impression of this establishment.

Amazing spot with a casual crowd. Listen to talented live small acts or move to the smaller separate bar for a more intimate area. Great beer/drink selection with good comfort foods.

If you live close by, do yourself a favor and just get the pewter mug! Savings on drinks served in it and it's yours to keep whenever you want to take it home, it pays for itself.

#1 Irish Bar in the DC metro!! Mairead is hands down the best bartender you'll ever have. Add in every football (aka soccer) match across 7 time zones and it's just what the doctor ordered...along with a bit of Jameson!
