Comfortable atmosphere and good food. Chicken wings were plump and perfectly seasoned. Classic fish and chips.

This is my favorite low key bar to hang out in. Great bar tenders, service, and ambiance!
4 quarts is an institution. I'm glad that it's sticking around. I do feel like the drink prices are a little bit high but it's still a good time and they always have good music. Went there for the first day of March madness and he had the games on so that was cool.
Ok so they have food and beer. But the foods not good and the beer isn't unique. $6.50 a Guiness and that was the nicer beer on the list. No craft or European beers. At our table we had a ham and cheese sandwich and "sweet chili" wings. I gave them three stars because of the nice patio and friendly servers! :)
Good food and a good atmosphere. Can be a little vacant once the daytime crowd heads home.
Visiting from Vegas and had to hit up some bars. Ofcourse you can t go wrong with an Irish pub. Great service with an amazing atmosphere. Met some strangers that became friends by the end of the night that apparently frequent the pub almost daily and feel like family. Yup this is the place I d come back to anytime I m in town. Thanks for the memories guys!
Watched the second dem debates here with AYD, had a great time. Probably not the first place I d go for dinner but the food was just fine.
Good food and beer. Plenty of seating including outdoor
Great place to watch sports on TV. Coordinate with the staff ahead of time to reserve space and request viewing of specific game.
I enjoy this establishment and its a good happy hour, but the food is very "blah". They did a good job with the monday night trivia nights, and the open mic events are always fun. Ive seen some great talent there. However, the food is very mediocre. The nacho plate and nachos I ordered felt like they had been in a freezer all day. Ive never had them that cold before. The crab dip I ordered was very soupy and liquidy and not that creamy. However, the bread that came with it was fantastic. This place could goto a 4 or 5 star place if the food was better. I hope it was just an off night for them.
Food was good, staff was hilarious and friendly, couldn't ask for better bar food and the there were so many regulars to talk to that had great tips for places to go off the grid from the normal tourist stuff of DC.
I've been here at night, on weekends, during the week, and for brunch. Everything has been great. The bartenders are super friendly (and cute), the drinks are good, the vibe is happy and fun, and the brunch is delicious and cheap. You can't beat $2.50 mimosas- basically bottomless. Would definitely recommend!
I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I love how the service is always great and they keep the place well kept at all times. Prices are convenient and they serve sizeable portions.
The soups were amazing. The meals were delicious. Service was quick and friendly.
Maybe if you order some Irish or European style beer you would have a better experience. Stale beer is no fun
Also, some folks might find the discombobulating array of stifling rooms charming. We did not.
Delicious full Irish breakfast, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The manager is very attentive and professional.
Cool atmosphere. Happy hour options are limited. Food is okay.
Amazing Irish breakfast, great classic drinks and very cool ambiance with live music, sports and trivia nights
5 stars for food! Their boxty patties are amazing and the chicken pot pie was wildly delicious. Fish and chips were spot on and crispy!
3 stars for service... possibly a new server, no apparent management on the floor. Could've been a fluke night.
The service is great and the for is good i came all the way from New York to try thier sheppards pie. Awesome !
This is my local watering hole. Regulars have their mugs up on the wall, and the staff is extremely friendly (and Irish!). I highly recommend the wings.
The food here was awful and my wife got food poisoning. STAY AWAY
Beer is good. Staff is friendly. Prices are not insane.
Definitely a go-to place now that Wilson Tavern is closed. The only day that I won't go is Open Mic night. Great place for a quiet night or company outing.
Great place to watch Arsenal and USMNT games. And Chelsea, if you are into that. Plus a growing Roma fan contingent!
My second time here, and just as great as the first. I'm surprised the brunch isn't busier, but hey, more for me! My dogs are enjoying the outside seating, and the waitress is super sweet and helpful.
Love this place. Good food, great happy hour, music almost every night. Chicken boxty is soooo good. So is the shepherds pie. Awesome beer selection too.
Good food and beer and laid back. Traditional Irish pub
Great service, atmosphere and friendly staff. Always a great time!!
I rarely remember leaving this place. Need I say more?
One of my favorite places to go! The atmosphere is great, the food and drinks are exactly what you'd expect from an Irish pub, and the staff are phenomenal. They really make you feel like they care. So much so that, restrictions permitting, I've tried to get takeout or visit them at least a few times a month to support them getting through Covid. Absolutely worth a visit if you're looking for an Irish Pub.
Love this place. We eat there every time we stay in Arlington.
Great irish bar. Depending on the day you might get some live music. Pretty tasty wings too!
A really nice place to see international soccer!!! Go Hotspurs!!!
This is one of my favorite places to eat. Here at least once a week.
Definitely not a good time to go on st patrick's day. As of covid it is overpriced for what you get as long as covid restrictions is around do not go to this establishment.
Decent food at decent prices. Fun English pub-like atmosphere, but very, very loud in the late evening.
Centerpiece of the neighborhood. Casual, can get loud Friday and Saturday night, so the side bar is more relaxed
Stopped in for a Guinness on the way back to our hotel after a long day of sight-seeing in DC. This is the type of place where the locals hang out to watch soccer on one of the many TVs. Everyone was welcoming and friendly.
Great authentic Irish Pub atmosphere, good 20 oz Guinness pour, fish and chips special tasty, great table service.
Standard Irish bar. Deuchy crowd, but it is Arlington.
The menu and service were ahead of our expectations. I absolutely loved the vibes of this restaurant. Extraordinary restaurant to take the family out for dinner.
Perfectly poured Guinness, and decent happy hour deals
Good spot. Live music and good beer. Only knock is how far out of the center of DC it is.
My personal favorite place to watch soccer in the DMV. Right now the World Cup is going on and this is the place to be for the games. Food is great and their wings are awesome
Two stars only because the food was good. That is where it ends for me. We waited excessively long for most everything and they were not even that busy.
Maybe they were understaffed this night but our server was clueless and so was the manager. Three out of four people in our party received their food in a timely manner but the fourth person didn't receive his order until the rest of us were basically done eating. The only thing worse than waiting for my friends order was waiting for the check. The server even came back after about 15 minutes to ask if someone had taken our check and we had to tell him that he didn't drop it off yet. From a customer service standpoint this place was absolutely bad. Maybe they had a rough night but that was my first and last impression of this establishment.
This place is excellent! Affordable pricing, big portions and the staff are constantly super friendly.
Have been a few times and would go again if I had friends going there. Nothing special, but nothing wrong with it either.
Great food and quick service. I work in the area and this place is great to grab lunch when i only have 45 minutes. I love their French Onion soup and their chili is great too!
Love this place. Fun bar. Fun atmosphere. Great on St Patrick's day.
Amazing spot with a casual crowd. Listen to talented live small acts or move to the smaller separate bar for a more intimate area. Great beer/drink selection with good comfort foods.
If you live close by, do yourself a favor and just get the pewter mug! Savings on drinks served in it and it's yours to keep whenever you want to take it home, it pays for itself.
Fun karaoke on Sunday nights. Cozy environment with friendly crowd.
Great atmosphere and variety of seating options. Great Irish whiskey selection.
Extremely overpriced, rude service, they cry about tips.
A fine example of an Irish pub. The prices you'd expect for the area, but a friendly staff and excellent service. Haven't eaten there much but what I've had was good.
Fun Irish bar. Grab a pint of Guinness and watch a game.
LOVE THIS PLACE....BEST REUBEN I HAVE EVER HAD, NE T TO IRISH TOWN IN DETROIT!!!
#1 Irish Bar in the DC metro!! Mairead is hands down the best bartender you'll ever have. Add in every football (aka soccer) match across 7 time zones and it's just what the doctor ordered...along with a bit of Jameson!
The pub opens early for premier league and draws a pretty good sized crowd too. Best place in Nova or DC to watch EPL for sure. The bar staff is great and the food is dependably good.
Great food! Overall fantastic Irish atmosphere, feels genuine and had a awesome time!
Great Irish bar with a decent whisky selection. Bartenders were very friendly and inviting. Will be back to try the food!
