One of the stops for hop-on hop-off tour.
Nice place to take picture, especially at night time.
Nothing much to do unless you pay to walk the bridge between the two towers.

It's always 5 stars here. What a wonderful place in all senses.

Great to hang out by the lake in the daytime and just rest, especially if you're being treated to a bit of jetlag.

The food court is great too, second floor. Very reasonable prices and very clean with lots of variation in the food. I had a Saravanah Bhavan, south Indian, spot on as always.

You need to come here in the daytime but also at night as its totally different. Make sure you check out both sides, lake side and the front.

I can't say anything new regarding this place. Everyone knows. Just mind boggling in the day time and even more better in night time with all light effect, the water jets with different colors add some more zing to it. Some others building near by this building is likely same. Overall the surrounding have no words to explain

I've been here twice. The first time I visited here was at night time, so the building was beautiful! The lighting of the twin tower are very fascinating. The second time I went there, it was in the evening, and the lights haven't turned on yet, but the the scenery is just as beautiful as the first time I visited!
And twin tower is one of the must visit site when you came to Kuala Lumpur.
Not only you have to take photo here, but you can also experience a very big shopping mall inside the building. There is also food courts with so many choices of food.
A great experience here!

Feel the height as you stand near the worlds famous twin tower scaling upto 430m the only tallest building in the world till 2004. The ticket price to reach the top however is little costly at RM 98 per person. Better to visit KL tower as an alternative where you reach the top deck at the same price still enjoying the breeze and city view at a stunning 300m which is 100m more than the viewing gallery at twin tower.

Whisk 1 1/2 cups flour, 3 tablespoons sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda in a medium bowl.

Whisk 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk, 4 tablespoons melted butter and 1 egg in a separate bowl; fold into the flour mixture until just combined (it's OK if there are some lumps).

There's a juice kiosk at the ground floor that does some really meat cocktails. Strongly recommend you pay a visit to that juice place if you're there

I d recommend doing a different skyline viewing experience when in KL. We were really disappointed with our visit to the Petronas Towers in December. After looking forward to the trip as a highlight of our KL holiday, the visibility was so bad that you could only just see out of one of the windows and we were unable to get any clear photos. At the end of our visit we asked to see a manager to ask if this was normal. After being referred to three different people we were told that due to the window cleaning contractors being changed, the windows had not been cleaned for some time. This plus some rain made viewing conditions almost impossible. We were directed to issue a complaint online, which was never resolved. Wish we d spent our time and money elsewhere!

Great views - especially at night!
Always buy your tickets in advance! Online or at the tower. Especially the popular slots at night gets sold out fast.
A trip is a group of 20 people going at once. It lasts approx. 40 minutes + 15 minutes for check in. You get approx 10 minutes at the bridge, 15 minutes at floor 86 and 15 minutes at floor 41 (which is basically just a gift shop).

This is the second time I visited Kuala Lumpur and the Petronas Twin Tower is as majestic as ever. Once known as the tallest buildings of the world (1998 to 2004) these towers are a landmark of Kuala Lumpur that your visit to the national capital of Malaysia wouldn't be complete if fail to go to the twin towers and the nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower.

Petronas Twin Towers at kuala lumpur city centre represent a tremendous achievement in structural engineering design. The infrastructure is like one of the best done in the country. And its like taking photos and spent time more on there. To reach to the top of the building will involve some amount and like the way you go on the lift which takes less than two minutes to climb to the top. The building looks spectacular with the sunlight falling on it.The Petronas Towers remain the tallest twin towers in the world.

Surely two of the most iconic buildings in world architecture and well worth a visit. Pre-book online prior to your visit for a suitable time slot and remove any queuing at the venue. The tour is very well organised and carried out in stages. Your first stop is the link bridge between the towers before moving to the viewing area near the top. All internal so no real problems for those who fear heights. The whole tour probably only lasts one hour so take the time out to enjoy some incredible views across Kuala Lumpur

Cool to look at from the outside, very impressive design and lighting at night. However the tour to the top is overrated and slightly overpriced, especially for an evening tour. Not really much you can see and the windows are extremely dirty meaning photos are near impossible. I'd recommend just taking in the atmosphere from the bottom and getting some great photos.

The best part of Kuala Lumpur trip is the visit to...

The best part of Kuala Lumpur trip is the visit to Petronas Twin towers located at KLCC complex. This 88 storeyed twin towers is quite captivating be at any time of the day, month or year. Wrapped in stainless steel cladding and having a slight essence of Islamic heritage, it is designed by the dynamic duo Cesar Pelli and Renzo Piano.

The bottom structure houses a vast shopping mall with numerous brands. Also it is accessible from any part of the city because of the adjoining subway train station i.e KLCC Station.

At the back of the Petronas towers, there is a unmissable fountain show which is organised in the evening from 7pm. The whole scene with the colourful fountain show in the lake in the backdrop of the Petronas tower makes it a serene evening. #LetsGuide #tallestbuilding #Malaysia

The Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Tw...

The Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers (Malay: Menara Petronas, or Menara Berkembar Petronas)are twin skyscrapers. According to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH)'s official definition and ranking, they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 and remain the tallest twin towers in the world. The buildings are a landmark of Kuala Lumpur, along with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower.
The Petronas Towers' structural system is a tube in tube design, invented by Fazlur Rahman Khan. Applying a tube-structure for extreme tall buildings is a common phenomenon.
The 88-floor towers are constructed largely of reinforced concrete, with a steel and glass facade designed to resemble motifs found in Islamic art, a reflection of Malaysia's Muslimreligion. Another Islamic influence on the design is that the cross section of the towers is based on a Rub el Hizb, albeit with circular sectors added to meet office space requirements. The tower evoke the image of Qutb Minar.

The construction of the superstructure commenced on 1 April 1994. Interiors with furniture were completed on 1 January 1996, the spires of Tower 1 and Tower 2 were completed on 1 March 1996, 3 years after its construction was started, and the first batch of Petronas personnel moved into the building on 1 January 1997. The building was officially opened by the Prime Minister of Malaysia's Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad on 1 August 1999. The twin towers were built on the site of Kuala Lumpur's race track. Test boreholes found that the original construction site effectively sat on the edge of a cliff. One half of the site was decayed limestone while the other half was soft rock. The entire site was moved 61 metres (200 ft) to allow the buildings to sit entirely on the soft rock. Because of the depth of the bedrock, the buildings were built on the world's deepest foundations. 104 concrete piles, ranging from 60 to 114 metres (197 to 374 ft) deep, were bored into the ground. The concrete raft foundation, comprising 13,200 cubic metres (470,000 cu ft) of concrete was continuously poured through a period of 54 hours for each tower. The raft is 4.6 metres (15 ft) thick, weighs 32,500 tonnes (35,800 tons) and held the world record for the largest concrete pour until 2007. The foundations were completed within 12 months by Bachy Soletanche and required massive amounts of concrete.

As a result of the Malaysian government specifying that the buildings be completed in six years, two construction consortia were hired to meet the deadline, one for each tower. Tower 1, the west tower (left in the top-right photograph) was built by a Japanese consortium led by the Hazama Corporation (JA Jones Construction Co., MMC Engineering Services Sdn Bhd, Ho Hup Construction Co. Bhd and Mitsubishi Corp) while Tower 2, the east tower (right in the top-right photograph) was built by a South Korean consortium led by the Samsung C&T Corporation (Kukdong Engineering & Construction and Syarikat Jasatera Sdn Bhd).

About iPerintis

iPerintis: Malaysia's Fully Integrated Oil and Gas Company

iPerintis is a leading oil and gas company in Malaysia that has been providing energy solutions to the world for many years. The company is fully integrated, meaning it handles all aspects of the oil and gas industry, from exploration to production and delivery. iPerintis uses the latest technology to ensure that its operations are efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly.

Exploration

The first step in any oil and gas operation is exploration. iPerintis has a team of experienced geologists who use advanced technology to identify potential reserves of oil and gas. They use seismic surveys, which involve sending sound waves into the ground to create images of underground rock formations. This helps them determine where there might be deposits of hydrocarbons.

Once potential reserves have been identified, iPerintis conducts further tests to confirm their existence. This involves drilling test wells to collect samples of rock and fluid from underground. These samples are then analyzed in a laboratory to determine their composition.

Production

If a reserve is deemed commercially viable, iPerintis moves on to the production phase. This involves drilling wells into the ground so that oil or gas can be extracted from underground reservoirs.

iPerintis uses state-of-the-art drilling equipment that allows it to drill deeper than ever before while minimizing environmental impact. The company also employs advanced techniques such as hydraulic fracturing (fracking) which involves injecting water under high pressure into rock formations deep underground in order break them apart so as extract more hydrocarbons.

Delivery

Once oil or gas has been extracted from an underground reservoir it needs be transported safely over long distances before being refined into usable products like gasoline or diesel fuel.

iPerintis operates pipelines across Malaysia which transport crude oil or natural gas over long distances with minimal environmental impact . The company also owns several tankers which transport crude oil around the world by sea .

Environmental Responsibility

As an environmentally responsible organization , iPerntitis takes great care when exploring for new reserves , producing hydrocarbons ,and transporting them . It ensures that its operations do not harm local ecosystems or communities .

Conclusion

In conclusion , Iperntitis is one of Malaysia's leading fully integrated Oil & Gas companies with expertise spanning across all areas including exploration , production & delivery . With its commitment towards using cutting-edge technology while ensuring minimal environmental impact during its operations makes it stand out among other competitors within this sector .
