I’ve been certified on the VXL Alco-Sensor for nearly three years now, and it remains my top choice among all EBTs I’ve used. The device is incredibly fast and accurate, making the certification process a breeze thanks to its intuitive prompts. I actually sold my old RBT models (both the Red and Blue Dot versions) because I found them cumbersome. The RBT without a keyboard is particularly frustrating—you spend too much time laboriously typing in donor information character by character. I do own a PAS Jupiter DOT 3, which is a decent unit, but it doesn’t quite match the ease of use and reliability of the VXL. For anyone looking to build a solid collection of devices for both DOT and non-DOT applications, I highly recommend the XLV RBT. It comes in a convenient case that holds everything you need, making it a perfect all-in-one solution.
