I did the IELTS exam at the International House as an external participant. Although I did not attend the preparation classes at the Institute, the examiners and the staff members of the School were very kind, professional and totally available in answering further questions or solving doubts regarding the specific tasks of the exam. On the whole, It was a positive experience.

I really recommend this school to the children who want to learn English. The school has nearly 60 years of teaching experience and a unique teaching method. All teachers are experienced in English-speaking countries. Beginners from the beginning of the half course can basically understand all the words spoken by the teacher and conduct ordinary communication. If you want to study in other countries in the future, it will be a good start. I have been here for a few years, and there is no pressure on English classes in Italian schools. The exams are also easier. There are group lessons or one-on-one customized courses. The school has a free trial service.

The academy is well positioned and easily accessible by public transport. The staff is friendly and the teachers are very prepared and, above all, patient with the students. I was able to attend a Teacher Training course at their site and it was very instructive. I also worked with them on Invigilator during exam sessions and, being on the other side of the fence, I understood all the work behind it and I must say that it is really huge. I highly recommend this school and the services they offer.

I would like to recommend the IH of Rome. It is the third year that I do courses there and my daughter also attends.
The teachers are excellent and the classes interesting. I improved my level of English a lot since I started school, becoming more fluent in language and safety. The classes are dynamic and the books very interesting. Also the modality of the online campus is a versatile and comfortable way to do exercises from home with the correct answers in the time that one has. The school also organizes extra-curricular activities: conversation, reading groups, snacks, different opportunities to be in contact with the English language.
The atmosphere is stimulating, for adults and for children.
My daughter started from the beginning and she is also enthusiastic.

Structure and very welcoming staff, the examination and the withdrawal of the certificate were very simple and very punctual. They are also available to report any urgency to the possession of the certificate. I would say that it is an excellent school with prices that do not deviate from the competition in Rome. Highly recommended for those who want to improve their English for personal reasons and for those who need to get a certificate. Covers all levels of English from KET to Celta.

I attended a CAE course at school organized by IH, the professor was extremely competent and thanks to her I passed the exam with excellent grades. The day of the exam - at the IH office - everything went well, the indicated times were respected and the invigilators staff was very kind and organized. Recommended experience for preparing Cambridge exams!

Pros: good structure and well connected. They offer all Cambridge ESOL exams. Equipment mostly adequate.
Cons: Headphones used during bad exams (Quelli da call center, for instance). Class a little too small and crowded.
