ISI installed the carpet in my new home. After several years the carpet developed creases and lumps -- needed to be re-stretched. I called ISI and they came to look at it. Mike, the inspector, said it wasn't bad and they could re-stretch it. They then followed up with an outrageous quote of $800 to re-stretch it. I had thought they would stand behind their original service and re-stretch it at no charge, or at the very least a small/nominal charge. But instead they attempted to gouge me. I got other quotes -- and eventually got it re-stretched for $240. I would NEVER recommend using ISI! Ironically their website states the following..."We believe that innovative, customer-focused services are based on local expertise and lasting relationships built over time." Yeah right!
