Great bars and restaurants down by the marina and usually not too crowded

Went for the dinner, Italian food was our favorite, Brazilian was fully booked and we had super cold beer at Belgian cafe. Can not complain, excellent place to meet friends!

Great hotel with great location and really friendly staff

There is a swimming pool near the sea and you can use it any way you like! There is no more heaven than drinking wine or beer in the sun under the sun.

Best place for European beers, mussels and pork. Great outdoor and indoor atmosphere. Not pricey, casual. They have the amazing Kwak beer

Very nice hotel. Laundry Services are amazing, linen pure white. Staff is so kind.

Quite recommended Hotel; combines both business and leisure with a variety of attractions summarized by the sand sea shore, pubs, restuarants, & on top of all of that the congenial staff that ensures your are welcome all the time. Special thanks to the Duty Manager Mr. Mohammad Abu Al-Shaikh.

We were at Intercontinental Abu Dhabi for a weekend getaway - although we ended up enjoying the beach time we had, our experience(s) with the staff were terrible.
Check-in: we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who took our details, luggage tag and told us to wait for our room to be ready and they'd offer us a welcome drink (even though it was well after 2pm so this should've been ready straight away). We ended up waiting 30 minutes, no one came with a drink and we ended up having to go ask again for our key. The bags arrived 30 minutes after we got our key, which delayed us even more.
Restaurants: we ate twice at the hotel, on the beach where we got plastic cutlery to eat our pasta, it took them another 10 minutes to get us proper cutlery, as if this was an unusual request. The next time we ate at the hotel was the breakfast buffet, the food wasn't very tasty and I literally had one of the waiters snatch a croissant from my hand claiming that if I put it in the rolling toaster, it'll explode. A second later someone else's croissant rolled down with no damage so the waiter apologized and said he thought it wouldn't work. But come on, use your words don't snatch food out of my hands!
Rooms: we were assigned a room that had a connecting door - with very noisy neighbors when we arrived. When we went to reception to ask about alternatives, they sometimes ignored us for a good 3-5 minutes to speak to other guests. It took them 15 minutes to tell us that they have no rooms, which I don't really trust because we only booked the room the night before and it looked like there were lots left and not 'overbooked' as they claimed. They even called 30 minutes later when we were about to nap, to ask if there's noise even though they repeated again on the phone that THEY DON'T HAVE ANY ROOMS.
As you can see, terrible experience with the staff but the weather was great and we enjoyed the beach/pool facilities so the rest of the encounters didn't affect the trip as much as you'd expect.

The place is elegant, especially the pool overlooking the yacht park and the gym is beautiful

Good location and only hotel with Marina bay and about 8 various restaurants.

I loved everything, especially the chocolate strawberries they gift us with the card for our anniversary

We stayed in Abu Dhabi for 7 nights and couldn't ask for more from the hotel. The rooms, food, facilities and mostly the staff were all perfect. I could not thank the hotel enough for helping us enjoy every moment we had in the UAE. Special thank you goes to Marwan and his security team who went above and beyond for any request we had. Honestly can t find this kind of service anywhere else in the world!

A very chic and sophisticated restaurant. There is everything your heart desires! Many recreational opportunities and water activities. 15min Jeski drive costs about 40. It is worthwhile, however, since the view from the open sea is overwhelming! Very much again .... someday :)

Great buffet, with widespread salads, breads and desserts. Hospitality on point, classic view to the side. Loved the baked potato soup and fish in saffron sauce.

Perfect location.elgant and clean room. Delicious food.professional staff specially Monaliza in Club lounge and Mr Raad in the reception .they showed warm welcome and very helpfual

Big hotel with everything one could want. We enjoyed a quick dip in the sea followed by a swim in the pool and the spa. Cool drinks nearby completed our romp.

Nice hotel inside though the looks are unassuming from the outside. Restaurants and bars on premesis are great and foster a friendly and fun atmosphere.

I went there from Canada (Alberta)with my husband... i had some drinks and food....reccomend by dipak.....awsome service..... dipak was very polite and his service way was fantastic .......i think best place for tour and food.....thank you so much dipak to make our experience great

Absolutely fantastic, the hotel is getting a bit old, but the service comes first, it couldn't be better !! Food was also super delicious, especially the possibility to eat in different restaurants .... Chamas was soooo delicious and an unforgettable experience! Just like Byblos Sul Mer !!!!

Just got back from an evening at the Fisherman's Restaurant at the Intercontinental Hotel. The food was great...shrimp, oysters, sushi, and mussels...all were very well done. The buffet was expansive and very reasonably priced. The setting was on the Intercon's private beach next to the docks, and the breeze coming off of the water was very pleasant. We chatted with Neil, the Intercon's manager who was extremely interested in ensuring we were enjoying ourselves. Lots of other restaurants nearby...the Belgian Cafe has great specials.

Great service and amenities. Only let down is outside of hotel looks old and if in All Inclusive, some staff treat you as an inferior guest which is unacceptable.

Very clean and courteous hotel. Staff is very helpful and fast. Great 5+ star service. Only negative is very slow and inconsistant internet service available in the rooms.
