Quite an old hotel, with an old pool. I received a message treatment there (bought on Groupon). Cannot recommend. The sunset view is breathtaking though.

Always good though the brunch drink quality has slipped considerably and the Chamas is still a bit overpriced especially considering no pork on the menu

Truely a fantastic hotel that will leave a lasting impression. Great views, reasonable rates, courteous and friendly staff, 5 star restaurants, well-kept amenities and a relaxing beach front makes this hotel the ideal destination for workers and vacationers alike. Please take my advice and stay at the InterContinental the next time you stop by Abu Dhabi!

Great amenities, views, restaurants. Killer package

Its been more than a month I am staying here in this hotel and I must say the staff here are very friendly, kind hearted and caring. Mr. Rakesh Gade he is the room attendant and he is so professional, upbeat and positive. He always smiles whenever he enters my room. He is so positive that during this pandemic when I am eagerly waiting to go back to my home country,he always says some positive words to make my day. This hotel should be proud to have these staffs which compells the guest to come back everytime. Great work!

Could be one of the oldest hotels in Abu Dhabi but it sure is one of the best for the foodies... Great selection of restaurants

Good hotel in a very good location in Abu Dhabi.
In sight Etihad Towers and Emirates Palace. Staff all very friendly.
Great beach club. Everything was very clean.
Unfortunately, the all inclusive was changed and you have to buy all inclusive premium for 100 aedes per person per day to eat in the beach club or in the whole restaurant.

Great location and facilities. Staff are excellent. Lots of restaurants and bars. Rooms could do with a refresh, but perfectly acceptable.

Disaster !
We are regular customers in the Fish Market in Dubai, however this place has nothing in common with the one in Dubai, except for the name, sadly.
If you want to spend a fortune for a food that looks like it was cooked 3 weeks ago, oversalted and dry, with horrible presentation, this s the place for you.
We ordered red snapper in Thai curry sauce, calamari, shrimps, stir fry veggies, white wine and French fries. All this costed 1400 AED.
From all that food I must say I enjoyed the French fries, since they were the only edible thing on the table.
When we did complain about the food, the manager brought us a fruit salad that has already gone bad... What a treat!
If you find yourself around that area, visit the Belgian cafe.... I wish I had gone there in the first place.

The fish market restaurant is a must visit. Afternoon chills by the beach or even a beer at Belgium beer cafe. Good atmosphere.

The place is beautiful ... The room styles are a little outdated especially the TVs but that's kinda to be expected in a building that old in Abu Dhabi ... Over all a lovely stay I just hope for some future room renovations in the near future

tradition and hospitality but the rooms need maintenence. room 1601 we had has a broken bathroom: bathtub shower device, shower room leaking water to external floor and broken swith between the fixed ceiling whower and the handled shower device + water leaking from toilet to the floor. ..you can't live in a room with water deficient logistics

This hotel is a benchmark for others! This is what other hotels should strive for!

The hotel is clean and the treatment is sophisticated and the children's swimming pool is fun but it is better if they change the furniture because I am old

Historic hotel of Abu Dhabi.. food is very delicious

We are a regular customers of the Intercon Abu Dhabi for the last 20 years. We went to the Belguim Coffee today (10 Sept 2020 @ 8:30 pm), as part of our weekly routine of Thursday evening but we were a family of 5 adults. Given social seperation , the floor manager could not accommodate us on one table. We respected that attitude and the hotel's adherance policy to social seperation but we can not accept rudeness , disrespect and total lack of curtesy as shown by the floor manager and his total lack of custoner service. Not becoming of a fine hotel like the Intercon. Disappointed and hurt , we decided to leave on the spot.

Different choices of restaurant and coffee shop, nice views

We were upgraded to the 15th floor and it was a gorgeous hotel. We stayed at another 5 star hotel in Dubai but this was a lot nicer by far. There were pools, private beach, great selection of restaurants, 2 fitness centers with saunas, jacuzzis, etc. The hotel rooms were very clean and they had a nice turndown service. They gave out really nice pens and replenished water bottles daily. The slippers and robe were nice and cozy and the iron and ironing board came in handy. The breakfast buffet that's included was delicious but we only got to enjoy it for 1 day. We had an early morning flight the next morning and missed the breakfast but the concierge was more than happy to prepare a breakfast package for us which was nice. Overall, I'd never stayed at an Intercontinental hotel before but I will definitely be staying in these in the future.

Great place for Iftar or for dining ...nice pub too.

Superb rooms, large toilets with bathtub, fresh flowers on the room, overlooking the city was a very good site especially at night. Foods in the restaurant was delicious and many to choose from. Considering its just adjacent to DFC is also a plus. Best hotel we've been to! If have the chance again would love to spend it here!
