I really like the beach club, it s so convenient to sunbathe on sun-bed while your baby is playing in pool and play area. However the rooms are quite old, bathroom needs renovation, as well as shower cabin. 5 star only because of beach club. Room is honestly as per 4 star standard. Last time they gave us a room on smoking floor even we were with small baby and this is beyond my understanding. Only after complaint, they agreed to move us to non-smoking floor. Breakfast and dinner are very good. Staff is responsive, but check in took much time and receptionist gave us room on smoking floor.

One of my favourite hotels in the city. I live nearby but I just have to stay to experience the place. My mom and I love Belgian Cafe, they offer unlimited mussels every monday . They also have free movie nights which they announce on their facebook. page.

It's an old hotel, yet very well maintained and the rooms are clean and the bed is comfy however ask for extra pillow if you like your head to be raised. They have a good number of restaurants and bars especially. We enjoyed our time at byblos Sur Mer, if you want to sit right by the sea view. The only issue we facedat the hotel was the access cards kept getting unregistered so we had to always go to the reception and register the key, in my 2 night stay I had to register the the key almost 4 or 5 times and my mobile phone was not remotely close to the access card.

Classic Old Hotel, TV's are very old, two nice pools and closed 'no waves' beach.

Their rooms are luxuriously appointed
Their restaurants are quesa and especially Byblos

First impressions, absolute terrible. Check in very slow. Room very out dated and below standard UAE standard.
Belgium bar, terrible service, tried to sell us bad wine. Slow service.

I visited and Stayed at the fantastic InterContinental Abu Dhabi for two nights with my family. All of us were lucky and fortunate enough to stay in the wonderful, comfortable and luxurious club rooms with spectacular views of the city of Abu Dhabi and beyond. Due to the personal endevaours of the Chief concierge Mr Raouf Yakoubi we were treated brilliantly and all our needs were met. The rooms were well supplied with complimentary chocolates, delicious fruit and soothing Tea from across the world. Decorated exquisitely and furnished to a high standard the rooms made for a highly relaxing and comfortable sleeping experience.

Our club rooms were accompanied by access to the relaxing, sophisticated and convenient InterContinental club lounge.The Club Lounge experience was extraordinary and out of this world,the manager Elizabeth and her colleagues went out of their way to ensure that we were able to relax in comfort, switch off and escape to a land of bliss and happiness.In particular the "Evening Tea" was delightful and nourishing,the varied range of sandwiches from tasty smoked salmon to nourishing crab and the mouthwatering pastries on offer made for a wonderful and refreshing Tea. Although the highlight of the day was the Rich Devon Scones served with Jersey clotted Cream and the splendid Strawberry Jam washed down with scrumptious Earl Grey Tea.

It is clear that all the staff at the Hotel see it as their goal to make every guest feel welcome and deliver an experience of luxury and hospitality that is second to none.It is a place where dreams come alive and every person is made to feel as if they are truly special.The spectacular Spa and Jacuzzi further add to the heavenly nature of this fantastic hotel as does the modern and enthralling gym.

Stayed here for a week for a wedding; the hotel is fantastic and employees go above and beyond. We got massages at the spa, used the fitness centre, and I even got my beard trimmed at the in hotel barber. The rooms are immaculate even coming with a pillow menu. The outdoor pool, beach, and multiple restaurants including a hookah bar are amazing .

Hotel was nice however construction was going on adjacent which was loud/dusty and made the ocean water very murky.

The InterCon has has great emenities in the heart of Abu Dhabi. The staff are professional, the grounds are well groomed, the views are fantastic, the WiFi is reliable, and the overall ambiance is delightful. Fully recommended.

Intercontinental Hotel at Al Bateen area near Abu Dhabi Corniche

Excellent hotel, high standard, helpful, the customer is treated like the king, we will come back.

Very noisy room (normal locked room door as a connecting door to the neighboring room had), street noise despite not openable window unreasonable for a 5 star hotel. In the room partially hanging seals, dirty silicone seams and joints in the bathroom, under the bed was still garbage from its predecessor. In the buffet restaurant the food was partly cold and often the same. Partly there was dirty dishes. Lamps were broken and flickered permanently in the restaurant (atmosphere as in a youth hostel). The staff in the restaurant seem to get no shoes in your size and "slurp" just around the area. The pool area is nicely laid out and maintained, but you should not expect an open sea. Partly very large noise pollution by adjoining large construction site. I would not recommend the hotel because of the many shortcomings.

Food safety standards low, cakes contains a few big pieces of white plastics, like the fractions from disposable forks and knives, and after I pointed to them, the cakes still on sale in the display. Cannot believe such harzardous plastics in food and beverage were serving at this hotel and these food were made right in the hotel kitchen. The chef said that in the past two years, this never happened, and this plastics didnt belong to their kitchen, and the flour was supplied from third party, which was rather a groundless argument. First time to stay at this hotel and last time to stay. Hazardous food + arrogant attitude + negligence of standards

Nice view, all employees are very respectful and the food is great - the only thing that bothers me is that the building (and partly the interior) is a bit old, but not too much of a bother

Was amazing week! Breakfast was great...it would have been nice to see more vegetarian and vegan options. Overall it was great Staff were friendly and helpful.

It's been an exceptional experience with various things to do there.
