Their call center is located only in Michigan. When I asked to be transferred to NY, they said they can't do that. I then asked why their company is calling from Bloomfield NJ if they're only located in Michigan. I was hung up on. I called them again to find out why the dr's office informed us $10 a month for a man who is on a fixed income at 88 years of age is fine. Their call center employees had no idea what I was talking about. They told me that my grandfather's account doesn't have a payment plan set up. He owes the full amount for his radiation. He owes over SIX THOUSAND dollars? Up front? He doesn't have that kind of money. I informed them he's on a fixed income. Why would the doctor's office employees EVER tell someone $10 a month is fine. She said if they really said that there would be notes in the account. Yeah. Big surprise, no notice on his account that said that.
In order to get him on a payment plan, I have two options. I can send half of what he owes up front (which is impossible) or I can submit a payment with a hardship letter and proof of income. The first will probably get him on the plan. The second requires approval and could be rejected. The payment will be kept though.
Their corporate office is in NY, their collections office is in NJ, their call center is in MI. Beware of this place and the doctors associated. They clearly have a case of the left hand not knowing what the right is doing.
