Better than the average Inn up the river and well priced, but the bathroom was not very clean and in our friend's room the plumbing was pushing muddy water into their shower and basin. I'm sure they'll fix that but then beyond that some simple updates to the bathrooms (fresh silicone sealant) would go a long way.

Room was clean, view was great okay for a day trip. It's dated but decent price for what it is. No serious complaints just one minor one. After retiring for the night I saw a mouse crawl out from under the bed.

The advertisement of this hotel is completely misleading! When we arrived we were told by the front desk that they didn't have anymore of the rooms we requested and said the room that they have #30 had a great view. OF THE DAMN PARKING LOT! We went back and told the lady that we weren't happy with our room. Mind you, she was dressed like she was working more than the front desk if you know what I mean. She offered us another room with a balcony but it was 2 full beds. We agreed to check it out, and I kid you not, we spent all of 10mins in there, before we went back and requested a refund. I mean the shower was rusty, there was hair all over the pillow cases and sheets, just DISGUSTING! While walking back to the front office there were people standing outside of their rooms complaining that their room doors wouldnt lock, that should have been my 1st sign of fraud then! The lady refunded us the $150 but then days later there was an unauthorized additional charge on my girlfriend's card for $130. I don't know what kinda scam that front desk clerk is trying to do but needless to say...a fraud case has been opened with my bank. After reading other comments, I see that I am not they only one they double charged for requesting a refund...AVOID AT ALL COST!

Inn on the hudson at 634 main st. This place was really nice especially richie he has been amazing hes very friendly courtious and hes always very friendly always welcomes people and makes sure your comfortable and tries 2 fullfill your needs. I wish i could say the same for the woman with the black hair that works in the morning from 7- about 3 she is very rude and never greets anyone you come in for breakfast which most of the time is great excepr for tuesday morning the juice she had out had stuff floating in it the apple juice was horrible she doesnt clean anything she doesnt make sure theres milk out or sugar the coffee was empty and you ask her things and its like your talking 2 yourself she has aditude everytime she is there like she doesnt even care i feel thats really un professional and makes me not wanna ever stay here again or even recommend this place to anyone. Shes extremely not good for this place i would love 2 come back it was very convenient for me my my boss n 3 other co workers its just her aditude n professionalism sucks. The only people who are awesome no matter what day it is or how cold it is are the cleaning ladies and the gentle who tries to fix things when its needed and of course RICHIE HES AMAZING AND IM SURE AWESOME 2 WORK WITH. my room was always clean bed done towels available and heat was great cause it was very cold for the 3 weeks i had 2 stay here but the lady with the black hair maybe named evie not sure but shes tall shes white and works at 7am shes the worse one there she really needs a new day job or ahe is better off home she really makes me never wanna come back pkease talk 2 that woman or replace her ahe makes the ratings on this place go down hire more workers like richie your inn would be a better place thank you i stood in room 26 for 3 weeks along with others in 2 other rooms. Thank you Richie u rock 4real always a pleasure to see him or talk 2 him.

We picked up the location as the mid-point between a Washington DC burb and Bedford MA. As such, it didn't require too much driving just to get there, and it's close to the [probably] cheapest Hudson bridge ($1.25). We could walk from there to enjoy a vegan friendly dinner. In the morning we walked to the Lincoln Depot Museum (closed for renovation, although our intention was just to look from outside). The room was clean on arrival, staff is friendly, and they serve a reasonable free breakfast, although you'll have to pay for hot food. On the down side, the room was nowhere like pictured on the web site. The window faces a walkway and unless the curtain is down, other guests can peek into the room. You'll need to unplug equipment if you wish to charge your electronics near the bed. The walls are razor-thin - you can clearly hear conversations in adjacent room or cars warming up outside. It is somewhat pricey for what you get.

My house burned to the ground on December 11. The Red Cross put us here. It's a lovely and accommodating place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. The view down the Hudson makes this difficult Christmas merrier.

We had to be at a wedding at around 3:30, we barely made it by the skin of our teeth because check in took forever. When you first walk into this hotel there is plywood on the floor and you have to make sure you don t trip over a cone. The bathroom barely worked in the room and they have two powerful air conditioners but give you what is equivalent to paper blankets. Would definitely not stay here again, plus a train was going by every hour or something.

This motel/hotel was very beautiful the view is awesome the only thing is the floors weren't cleaned properly there was a lot of dust and little pebbles and stuff like that maybe they forgot to vacuum in the Room I don't know but the floors were very dirty other than that we had an excellent experience I still give it 5 stars.

A good motel if you need to be in the area.

A good motel if you need to be in the area.
It is nothing fancy, but it's safe & rooms are clean. A short drive or walk to the hidden gem of Peekskill's waterfront park.
As well as the on site restaurant there are many local restaurants, bars, delis & shops only a short distance away, walkable for many or a short drive.
The staff have always been very attentive & kind.

We loved the Inn. It is cozy. The restaurant was right on the grounds, where we had great food and could hang out for drinks. The room was clean and nice. The housekeepers kept it clean every day even when we were still in the room when they made rounds. We had a great experience in this setting. No you are not getting a luxurious hotel room, it is a more rustic cozy inn with a fair price. I cannot wait to go back!

Nice staff, beautiful views, and great location. Rooms are certainly shabby, but adequate if you aren't expecting a standard, predictable chain hotel experience. Free breakfast wasn't bad. Linens were nice. Now the bad news. MAKE SURE YOU ASK IF THEY ARE HOSTING A WEDDING OR EVENT. They have a bar on premises, and the walls/floors are extremely thin. We were kept up until after 2am by music from the bar, and the staff said that they couldn't do anything about it.

Sent my co-workers here for a meeting in the area based on not terrible reviews and the Holiday Inn being sold out. They woke up with bed bugs and opted to throw all their clothes away. A refund was not requested as it doesn't repair the damage done. This is just a warning for future guests.

Not worth the money , also spent two hours waiting for a room because they don t have communication or maybe lack of knowledge either way not acceptable. We had proof of an email from the hotel with confirmation and still they didn t believe us. They made us wait around for two hours, mind you this happened at 10:00pm and a bit around midnight we got the room. Overall not a good experience and won t pay that price again for this experience. Should have read other reviews first.

I would just like to say Roy was the best help that I could get so fantastic they better give them a raise they were pleasant the only reason I am giving 4 stars is for them. and I understand there policy of holding the $100 for safety of their hotel but just for everyone else to know if say you stay at the hotel say like 3 days and you would like to add another night you will be charge $100 for each extra night you stay even if you are already there so if you plan to stay make sure really make sure know how many nights you want to so you will only be charged the $100 once.

One of our limos broke down just before midnight last night and the gentleman working the desk at Inn on the Hudson was not only able to place my driver and the passengers in several rooms, but helped me to find a taxi service, towing service and garage. Unfamiliar with the area and nearly two hours away, this would have been extremely difficult to coordinate on my own and I truly appreciate his willingness to go above and beyond to help me, my driver and our passengers during this less-than-ideal situation.

Pretty much everything was very run down looking. The bed had a weird stench and was sunken in the middle. Everything was out dated. The room could have been much cleaner. There was built up dust and dirt in the corners (especially in the bathroom). I killed a few spiders and some other bugs while not being able to sleep. Other guests were yelling and cussing outside, stomping around above us and someone put out a cigarette on my car window. All in all, A Very Bad Experience.

Very shabby hotel, obviously not updated in a very long time. Breakfast was very basic, self service "continental" (pastries, bagels, cereal). On check out the receptionist was obnoxious and was shouting that they wouldn't have taken a deposit when we booked (they did take a significant deposit!). Other customers were watching us and she basically called us liars at the top of her voice. Zero stars would have been more appropriate, but one is the minimum.

Would be 5 stars if the bathroom was updated. The mold was a serious turn off! Other wise a beautiful place to stay. Easy access to hiking trails and other attractions. Breakfast was fantastic and the on site bar and restaurant was excellent. Thank you to all the staff for a great stay. Also a special thanks to Anna at the bar who's service was impeccable!

It is truly a 2 star hotel ,hence the rating. Carpet was stained. Could hear machines clunking behind the walls all night. Bathtub was chipping. It is located in walking distance of downtown with good restaurants. Price was high for what it is.

Ok, so it takes a lot for me to give 1 star. Let's start with the pros- the views. The view from our room was really nice. The staff. The staff were very nice, and refunded our second night that we absolutely refused to stay (we actually wanted to not even stay first night, but was too exhausted to drive home 2hrs away at 10:30pm). Plus they changed us to another room, which was not much better but again, too exhausted to leave.
So, I check in, and go to the room. First thing, the SMELL. Should not smell like old ashtrays and musty. Even after putting AC on for 30min. Walls had some sort of brown drip stains. I used tissue with water to wipe some off, gross. The carpet, stains all over, and some sort of gunk mashed in in one spot. I refused to take off my shoes. The walls looked like they had been painted and repainted. Drain was rusty. I just included pics they speak for themselves. I wouldn't be so annoyed if I was paying $80 a night, but when it's more than double that, there is a certain standard to be expected. Also, it is apparently dog friendly, because the moron 2 doors down from us was letting his dog bark it's brains out until 11pm. That was actually the final straw and when I went downstairs irate. So if you've made it this far into my rant, I apologize. But you have been warned. K

There were fire code violations and insanitary conditions such as bugs visible and bodily fluid stains on the furniture. Informed the receptionist and the receptionist stated it s our policy. I really couldn t care any less about you or your room. This establishment will be reported to the proper town and county business enforcement agencies.

Small but clean, comfortable rooms. Fantastic onsite restaurant. Great views of Hudson River. Ok, it's not like being in Italy but for Peekskill it's a very nice stay. Great location as well.

The room is very nice and beautiful view of the Hudson very quiet you only hear the train in the far distant. The only thing is the window shades don't cover the whole window but beside that every thing is good the staff is nice and friendly
