Another lovely place in Edinburgh city centre where you can eat well for good value of money.

The restaurant is very cozy, with beautiful bar full of unique beers to choose from. Food is very tasty. Plates nicely presented.
Gnocchi are my favourite, however burgers with chips were very nice as well.

I recommend for lunches and dinners with friends.

Their unique sodas are delicious and it's a really nice little spot, especially the garden. If only they served a nicer oat milk than Alpro. Had to send it back as it's so unpleasant. The staff couldn't have been more lovely.

Incredibly poor.

Incredibly poor.

My friend booked this 2 weeks prior to the visit. I had recommended it, because we were celebrating a special occasion and I remember it being very very nice.

Well, not so much this time.

We were seated in possibly the worst table ever. I feel like is shouldn t even be a table to sit customers on, especially seen as there were other tables available. We requested to be moved, nicely, whenever there was a table available, which was promised, but never happened, considering there were tables available.

Then, the table we were given was sticky and dirty, the ashtray had cigarette butts in it, the plant was leaking the whole time onto the drinks and food.

I wish I could say that the service was better, but not particularly. I work in hospitality and I have never, ever complained before, but it was just bad. We never had our table cleared after we finished our food, considering they came to ask if we wanted more drinks several times?

And to top it all off, they came to tell me at the end that they had the table booked and we needed to leave. Which, honestly we were happy to at that point. Safe to say, I won t be recommending this place again.

Indigo Yard is one of my favourite bars in Edinburgh, it's a beautiful venue with brilliant cocktails. I went yesterday and every cocktail we ordered was really well made and presented beautifully, and despite the quality and variety of the cocktail menu it isn't as pricey as a lot of other cocktail bars. (I highly recommend their Bramble or Wildflower Paloma). The food on offer was decent but not amazing, but if you're going for cocktails I can't recommend Indigo Yard enough.
